"avery you went viral" are the first words avery hears as she enters the lions locker room.

"i'm sorry what?" avery questions, confused as she has never posted any type of video that could make her viral.

"look, since your birthday is in a few days the social media team put a compilation together. just look" jamaal hands her his phone and presses play on the video.

"who is your favorite person on the team?" a reporter asks as everyone is walking inside.

"avery, hands down" aidan says.

"avery" jared answers.

"they all crazy but if i had to answer, i'd say avery" jamaal says.

"and why is avery your favorite?" the reporter follows up.

"because she's sweet and she cares about everyone" aidan says.

"avery is the kindest person i have ever met. she has such a big heart" jared answers.

"well, avery is just avery. she's super nice but she's also not afraid to be herself, which is what everyone loves about her" jamaal smiles. the video continues as everyone says avery's name and many more reasons as to why they love her.

"that is so sweet" avery gushes. "but um why did it go viral?"

"look the lions social media team posted it on tiktok last night. since then it has gotten nearly 35 million views. everyone wants to know who this avery girl is we are talking about. you're even number one trending on twitter right now." jamaal answers.

"damn, that's crazy" avery laughs. "that's so fucking cool"

the lions run out of the tunnel and onto the field, everyone in ford field is going crazy. they are cheering for their favorite players and it is just a great sight and sound to be around. after the coin toss, everyone makes their ways to the sidelines. the clock still has 2 more minutes before the national anthem. that's when the sound in the stadium changes.

"avery! avery! avery!" the entire stadium yells in unison.

"yo avery, they are cheering for you" jared pats avery on the back as she blushes.

"i can't believe you guys are used to this. this is so awesome" avery squeals as she continues to hear the stadium chant her name. jared pulls her into her side and hugs her.

"i won't lie, it is a pretty fucking awesome feeling" jared laughs.

the lions are playing against the jacksonville jaguars and the lions are playing great. the score is currently 33-14, with the lions winning. it's currently 12:21 in the fourth quarter, the lions just made a field goal and the jaguars have the ball back, which means aidan is on the field.

trevor lawerence, the quaterback for the jaguars, gets the ball and goes to throw it but before he can, he is sacked by aidan. aidan tries to get up to celebrate his sack, but he can't. he twisted his leg and he holds it in pain. avery doesn't even think, she just runs onto the field as fast as she can, in order to be at aidan's side. she is the first to reach him. she runs her hand on aidan's forehead and through his hair.

"hey hutch" avery says looking him in the eyes, trying to stay calm.

"hey aves" hutch grits through pain to say.

"where is it hurting you?" avery asks as more of the medical team arrive to help aidan.

"it's my knee" aidan breathes out.

"ok, we are going to get you up and help you over to the bench ok? we take this at your pace" avery says. aidan slowly gets up, putting a little amount of pressure on his sore knee as he can. aidan wraps an arm around avery and another athletic staff and they help aidan hobble to the sidelines, as the stadium claps that he was able to get up on his own.

as avery helps aidan to the sideline, rodrigo turns to alex anzalone. "i have never seen her run that fast before, and i've seen that girl run for some cake" rodrigo whispers.

"aidan and avery sitting in a tree. k i s s i n g. first comes love" anzalone makes a heart in the air. "then comes marriage. then comes baby in a baby carriage" anzalone and rodrigo laugh.

aidan makes his way to the bench and he is left alone with avery. "are you okay?" avery asks.

"yeah, i think i just tweaked it. i'm sure i'll be fine" aidan smiles through the pain. "i have the best athletic trainer in the world to make me feel better before the next game."

"you scared the shit out of me hutch" avery playfully slaps his shoulder.

"i'm sorry, i didn't mean too" aidan says feeling bad.

"it's ok, i know you didn't mean to do it on purpose" avery reassures him.

the lions ended up winning, 40-14, making everyone excited and celebrating in the locker room. the lions are now 6-6 and it feels like they are finally getting into their groove. aidan did not end up playing the rest of the game and will be under avery's care for the next week, just to make sure his knee is ok and so that he doesn't over do it.

"hey avery if anyone asks me about you in the press conference, what do you want me to say?" jared asks.

"tell them this, i am flattered to be getting recognition and i will make my first appearance to the public when the lions make it to the playoffs." avery smirks.

"are you serious?" jared smiles.

"dead serious. i want to give everyone hope that the lions will make it to the playoffs but it will also keep them watching" avery answers.

"and super hypothetical question, what if we don't make playoffs?" jared asks nervously causing avery to lightly punch him in the shoulder.

"don't even put that negative energy into the world jared goff. we will be going to the playoffs" avery says.

"no, you are totally right ave. we are going to be going to the playoffs, you know why?" jared asks.

"and why is that?" avery questions.

"it's because we are the new and approved lions" jared says as he walks out of the room to go to the press conference.
