Alonso knelt down and said, "I know it's too early for this but maybe....just maybe in the future.....would you like....to.....marry me? In the future of course, like when you're crowned queen" Elena was shocked. Did-did he just propose for me?! Elena thought. She didn't know what to say. She kept staring at him. Elena stuttered, "Um...I-I...."

Gabe POV

I was spying on Alonso and Elena. I saw Alonso taking her to the fountain so I followed behind. I saw him holding Elena's hand and say something. I tip-toed closer to them to hear. "Elena, you are a perfect girl who is sweet, confident, and very pretty and now that I know you very well, I just wanted to ask you something..." I heard. Then, Alonso knelt down and said, "I know it's too early for this but maybe....just maybe in the future.....would you like....to.....marry me? In the future of course, like when you're crowned queen?" I almost choked on my saliva when I heard this. I waited for Elena to answer. She said, "Um...I-I...." I had a feeling that she was going to say yes for some bizarre reason, so I decided to stand up and say something. "Princess Elena!" Elena looked back at me. "Gabe?" she said. "What's wrong?" I was trying to think of a good excuse but couldn't think of nothing so I went up to her and....

Elena's POV

I was about to answer Alonso's question, until I heard a familiar voice from behind. "Princess Elena!" I looked back and saw Gabe. I said, "Gabe? What's wrong?" I saw him standing there like thinking of an excuse or something then I saw him coming towards me. Suddenly, without a doubt, I felt his lips crashed into mines! The kiss was sooo beautiful and sweet! It was soft and slow and I kissed back. I moved my arm completely around his neck as he had one hand smoothing my hair and the other one on my hip.

Alonso POV

I was waiting for Elena's answer, until I heard someone called out, "Princess Elena!" She turned back and it was one of her royal guards. Great I thought. Elena said, "Gabe? What's wrong?" He stayed there for a while. I bet he's trying to think of an excuse I thought. There was something in that Gabe person that had me suspicious. Then, before I knew it, I saw him walking towards Elena and....kiss her! I was shocked and surprised! I was even more surprised when she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed back! As they were kissing, I was just standing there awkward and heartbroken. But to be honest, I wasn't really heartbroken, I was shocked that he had the courage to kiss her in front of a prince. Now that's true love! I saw how they kissed each other. It was like love had filled the air. I proposed to Elena because my father told me, not because I wanted to. Right there, that moment, I knew who the future King of Avalor should be....
