Sense I had school the next day, I woke up early to get ready. When removing my bandages, I looked to see which ones need to be bandaged again and put fresh bandages on them. I then got dressed in a red shirt, white jean shorts, and brown flip flops. I then ate breakfast before curling my hair.

When I was ready, I grabbed my bag and phone and walked downstairs. I felt my phone vibrate again as I was sitting in the couch and I checked it. I wasn't surprised at who it was from- Aqua. I sighed and opened the message.

'Hey Jewel! Can you talk?' The one from last night read.

'Hi Jewel! Me again. I really want to talk to you, can you call me? See you at school!' Was the one from a minute ago.

I read the texts over a couple of times. I wanted to reply and say go away but I also wanted to talk to him. Before I could decide, I heard my mom coming. I then turned off my phone and got up.

"You ready?" She asked. She was wearing a red suit dress and black heals.

I nodded. "Yeah," I answered.

I then followed my mom to the car and she drove off to my school. When I got out, I was immediately surrounded by kids thanking me for attacking Fryson. They didn't know who Fryson was, they just thanked me for attacking the 'terrorists.'

I smiled and acknowledged them, answering any questions they asked. One asked about how I defeated them and another asked why I had bandages on. It wasn't until the bell was about to ring when someone asked me about my 'tattoo.'

"Where did you get that tattoo?" a human girl asked.

I looked at my friends which had walked next to me and Andrea nodded, giving me a look hat said 'tell them about us.'

"It's actually not a tattoo," I answered, looking at the girl.

The girl looked confused. "Then what is it?" She asked.

"It's a symbol," I explained. I then grabbed Andrea. "See hers? Sense she has a wave symbol she can control water. Others have a fire, tree, rock, wind, or paw print symbol. Fire can control fire, tree can control plants, rocks can control rocks, wind can control wind, and paw prints can control animals. Sense I have a symbol of all of them, I can control every one. We are called Elemental Beings."

The whole crowd fell silent. Before anyone could ask any more questions, the bell rang and we all went to class.

My classes went by fast. Whenever I enter a classroom, I get applauded. The teacher then quiets down the class before beginning his/her lesson. When I got to lunch, the whole cafeteria shook as the students clapped and cheered. I accepted all of the thank you'd thrown my way and sat down with my friends. About halfway through lunch, the principal got up on stage, silencing the whole building.

"I would like to welcome everyone back from that u expected break. We still are unsure at why those terrorist attacked but we are still looking. I would also like to give a huge thank you to Jewel Alter for helping drive the terrorists away," he announced. The rest of his words were drowned out by applause.

The principal quieted down the cafeteria-which took awhile- then continued with his announcements. "To thank her, the school district and I agreed to give her the Student of the Year award."

Right after he said that, the whole room cheered louder than they had before. I even felt air lift me up and hold me above the cheering crowd. This only made the people cheer louder. I just smiled and waved at them as they cheered at me.

After a couple minutes, I was put down and the bell rang. Everyone packed up and walked to class, congratulating me as they left. I just said thank you and walked to my next class.

After school, a group of people walked over to me as I sat on a bench waiting for my mom. These were the cool kids. Their leader was a human girl named Grace. She had long blonde hair and brown eyes. Her boyfriend Chad-the captain of the football team-was with her. He had short brown hair and green eyes. There were five others with them, I just can't remember their names.

The rout walked up to me and I stood up, smiling. "Hello." I greeted them.

Grace smiled back, chewing the gun in her mouth silently. She had gold sunglasses on but I could still tell she was looking me over. She was wearing a sky blue blouse, jeans, and black converse. Her backpack was a light brown satchel with handles that she was holding in her right arm. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail.

"I'm having a party Friday night at my place, want to come?" Grace asked.

"Sure, what's the occasion?" I answered.

"It's my 16th birthday," Grace said like it was obvious.

"I totally forgot!" I fake gasped, trying to play it off. "I was really busy lately and it just slipped my mind. Happy early birthday! Can I have your number so I can have the details?"

Grace looked like she believed me. "Sure," she agreed, pulling out her gold iPhone 6 with a blue with gold polka dot case. We exchanged numbers and I said goodbye right as my mom pulled up.

"Who was that?" My mom asked as I got in the car.

"The popular kids," I answered, buckling my seatbelt as my mom drove off.

My mom frowned. "What did they want?"

"They just invited me to a party Friday night. Can I go?" I explained.

My mom's smile returned. "Sure. Just don't drink or do any drugs, got it?"

I smiled back. "Okay. I won't do any of that."

My mom nodded. "Good. How was your day?"

"Great!" I explained. "I got the Student of the year award."

My mom's jaw dropped. "Really?" She asked, excitement in her voice.

"Yup," I nodded.

"Honey that's amazing!" My mom exclaimed. "Tonight, we are going to your favorite restaurant."

I smiled. "Thanks."

"You're welcome," my mom smiled back.

When we got home, I did my homework while my mom told my dad he good news. When I was finished with my homework, we drove to the restaurant I chose- Benihana's. This restaurant makes the food right in front of you. It's really cool and the food is delicious.

When we got to the restaurant, we waited for 15 minutes before we got seated. Sense there was only three of us, we had another family at our table. The family-I learned-was from England and had an English accent. They were in America because they were visiting family.

The mom, Shellie, was blonde and had green eyes-keep in mind that these were ordinary humans. The father, Carson, had light brown hair and blue eyes. Their son, Matthew, had dark brown hair and blue eyes. Matthew was in my grade and seemed really nice. He was the only one that knew about the Elemental Beings.

"How do you know about us?" I asked Matthew as we looked at the menu.

"My friends are Elemental Beings," Matthew explained.

I nodded, putting down my menu as I found what I wanted. Once everyone put down their menu, the chef came and took our order. He then started to make our appetizers. The chef did cool tricks with knifes and even made an onion volcano. He did other tricks while making the appetizers and it was cool to watch.

When we finished dinner, I said goodbye to the Matthew and his family then hopped in the car with my parents. When we got home, we said goodnight and went into our rooms for the night.
