1 month later

We cut to see the house of the squad as we zoom in on it to then cut to see the squad, with the exception of glaceon who isn't present, in the living room wearing backpacks.

We see Espeon talking to Leafeon, Jolteon, and Flareon

Espeon: So, are you all packed?

Flareon: Yes, what about you, big brother?

Jolteon: Um, mostly packed.

Espeon: OK, um, Leafeon, are you packed.

Leafeon: Oh, yeah, I'm packed.

Leafeon then looks at the hallway near the stairs.

Flareon: Leafy, are you OK?

Leafeon then looks at Flareon and says.

Leafeon: Sorry, it's my sister, Glaceon. She isn't up yet, and it's starting to worry me.

Jolteon then sighs.

Jolteon: She's probably oversleeping again.

Espeon: You know Leafeon, you can go get her if you want.

As Espeon said that Glaceon came into the room.

Glaceon: Hey guys.

Espeon: Why aren't you packed?

Glaceon Oh, yeah, that was today. I was sort of hoping I could stay here while you guys are out.

Espeon: Oh, I don't know. Remember last time you were alone.

Jolteon then looks around at the others. He then considers things and sighs.

Jolteon: Fine, I'll stay here too.

Espeon: Are you sure?

Jolteon: Yes. I'm mostly packed, and I'm sure that me being here will make you sure with Glaceon staying here. Also, I'm pretty sure it will help with the thing we talked about.

Espeon: Ok then.

Glaceon: Wait, I'm not ok with this. Why do I need to be with someone else?

Jolteon: Oh, I don't know. Maybe due to the fact that last time you were left alone in the house, YOU GOT STUCK IN THE FRIDGE!

Glaceon: I wasn't stuck in the fridge!

Jolteon: So you admit you were sleeping in it then!

Glaceon: I admit nothing!

Just then, Sylveon's extendable ribbons then pick the two mons up to end the quarrel.

Sylveon: Wow, never a short moment with these two, huh?

Espeon: I mean, Glaceon, this is one of the only compromises we can come up with, so it's either take it or leave it.

Glaceon then sighs as she says.

Glaceon: Fine.

Sylveon then puts Glaceon and Jolteon down

A few minutes pass by as the rest of the squad prepares to leave.

Jolteon: I expect that you two can take care of sunshine while I'm here, yes.

Vaporeon: You can bet it, Jolteon.

Flareon: Yeah, you seem to forget we have done this before, big bro.

Jolteon: Just wanted to make sure.

Jolteon then looks at sunshine.

Jolteon: Now, promise me that you'll have fun today, ok?

Sunshine: Aye!

Sunshine then hugs Jolteon, and he hugs her back.

We then see Leafeon and Glaceon talking in the background and zoom in on them.

Leafeon: Are you sure you don't want to.

Glaceon: No, and you know that I'm not the outdoor type.

Leafeon: That's true, but I'll at least bring something back for you.

Glaceon: I'll appreciate that.

The rest of the squad then leaves.

Glaceon: Ok, I'll be in my room if you need anything.

Jolteon: Ok, I'll just unpack. Also, if you put yourself in the fridge again, I will tell everyone when they get back.

Jolteon then turns around when he feels something grabbing his waist. It was Glaceon.

She then suplexes him to the ground.

Glaceon then leaves the room.

Jolteon moaning in pain, says,

Jolteon: Ok, I might have deserved that.

A few minutes later.

We then cut to Glaceon in her room, reading a book in silence until she hears Jolteon knock on the door.

Glaceon then gets up and walks towards the door, and opens it.

Glaceon: What do you want?

Jolteon: Just here to let you know that we might have to go into town to eat lunch.

Glaceon then gives an unamused look.

Glaceon: Why?

Jolteon: I went to the kitchen to get a snack and saw that we are low on food, so that means we have to go into town.

Glaceon: Fine.

Glaceon then tries to close the door, but Jolteon holds the door open.

Jolteon: I wasn't done talking.

Glaceon: Then hurry up.

Jolteon: Ok, we'll be leaving for lunch at noon.

Glaceon: Sure.

Glaceon then tries to close the door again, but Jolteon holds the door again.

Glaceon then starts to get annoyed.

Jolteon: One last thing.

Glaceon: What.

Jolteon:I'll be in the living room if you need anything, and I'll knock on the door once it's time to go.

Glaceon: Ok then.

Glaceon closes the door and goes back to reading.

A few hours later

We then see Glaceon again as she closes the book she is reading.

Glaceon: Done.

Jolteon then knocks on the door as he says.

Jolteon: Hey, we should get going now, it's noon.

Glaceon reluctantly says.

Glaceon: Coming.

We then cut to Glaceon and Jolteon walling on a path to town.

Jolteon: So. How's your day going?

Glaceon: What?

Jolteon: I'm trying to make a conversation.

Glaceon: Why?

Jolteon: Because it takes a while to get to town.

Glaceon: Ok then, um, I say it's going fine, you?

Jolteon: Same, um, how do you feel about being in the squad.

Glaceon: I'd say I like it.

Jolteon: Ok, um, this might sound like a weird question, but have you ever dated before?

Glaceon gives Jolteon a confused look.

Glaceon: Why do you want to know that?

Jolteon: I don't know. It was a question that an old friend said it's a good conversation starter.

Glaceon: Ok then, the answer to that is no, but there was this one guy who used to pester me.

Jolteon: The tedious type, huh?

Glaceon: Yeah, he was annoying. So what about you.

Jolteon then sighs.

Jolteon: Ok then. I only dated twice in my life. The first was definitely a one-sided relationship forced upon me.

Glaceon: And the second?

Jolteon: The second was a lot better. She was kind-hearted, and honestly, I couldn't explain my feelings into words.

Glaceon: What was her name?

Jolteon: Stella. And I think I can accurately summarize my feelings if I ask you this question. What would you say if I said I love you to you?

Glaceon then gives an unamused look as she answers.

Glaceon: I hate you.

Jolteon: Exactly, but I would never say that to her directly.

Jolteon then stops, and his paw slowly raises.

Jolteon: I'll even admit that I sort of liked it when she hugged me, and I'll admit that…

Out of nowhere, Jolteon punches himself in the face, shocking Glaceon.

Glaceon: Are you OK?

Jolteon: Yeah, I just resorted to old habits, that's why.

After that, they continued to walk to town with no further conversation.

A few minutes later

Jolteon and Glaceon enter town as Jolteon says.

Jolteon: Follow me. I know a place that serves a good lunch.

Glaceon follows Jolteon as he leads the way. As they continued walking, Glaceon couldn't help but look at the other mons passing by.

Most of them were happy and joyful looking. Others looked like couples as most of them were holding hands.

Jolteon then stops, causing Glaceon to bump into him due to her not paying attention.

Glaceon: Sorry.

Jolteon: It's fine. Any way were here.

They then enter a building and sit down as a samurott heads their way.

Samurott: Hey Jolteon, long time no see.

Jolteon: Hey, Pop.

Pops: So what would you and this lass like?

Jolteon: I'll have the usual.

Glaceon: And I guess I'll have the rice curry.

Pops: Ok, 1 fried rice and 1 rice curry. Any drinks?

Jolteon: I'll have water.

Glaceon: Lemonade, please.

Pops: Ok, your food will be out in a few.

Jolteon: Thanks, Pops.

Pops then walks to the kitchen.

Glaceon: So how did you two know each other?

Jolteon: Oh, I usually come here during lunch breaks during work.

Glaceon: What type of work?

Jolteon: Mailmon.

Glaceon: Oh, ok.

A few minutes later

We then see Jolteon and Glaceon leave the building after they're done eating.

Glaceon: That was good.

Jolteon: Like I said, Pops is one of the best dining places in town.

Glaceon: So, are we going home now?

Jolteon: Actually, I thought we could go to the bookstore after this.

Glaceon's additude perks up immediately

Glaceon: Really!

Jolteon: Sure, I mean, I saw that you were low on books earlier at the house, so I thought…

Glaceon grabs Jolteon by the paw and runs towards the bookstore.

Glaceon: So let's go then!

Jolteon: Woah, slow down!

We then cut to the inside of the bookstore as we see Glaceon looking for books she wants.

Glaceon: Read that one. Read that, read the entire series of that one.

Jolteon then looks around and shows something that sparks his interests.

Jolteon: Huh, I didn't know they made comics of this.

Glaceon walks over to Jolteon and says.

Glaceon: Made what?

Jolteon: Apparently, the makers of a game that I used to play a few years ago made a comic series about it.

Jolteon then shows Glaceon the comic.

Glaceon: Oh…lame.

Jolteon: Hey, it's not lame it's awesome.

A few minutes later

We then see Glaceon purchase the books picked out.

Jolteon: Are you sure that you're going to read all of those books?

Glaceon then walks over to Jolteon with her purchased books in a white bag and says.

Glaceon: Hey, you're lucky that I got only five books! I usually get like ten!

Jolteon: Hey, I'm not complaining. Anyway, do you want to get some ice cream?

Glaceon perks up in a potential excitement.

Glaceon: Really.

Jolteon: Yeah, I mean. I usually like dessert after I walk off the lunch.

Glaceon then grabs Jolteons paw and runs off again.

Glaceon: Let's go then!

Jolteon: Again!

We then cut to Glaceon and Jolteon, almost done with their ice creams as they sit on a bench.

Glaceon continues to look at other mons. Most were couples. As her mind begins to wonder about other things. Jolteon takes notice of this.

Jolteon: Hey, are you OK?

Glaceon then shakes her head to focus herself and says.

Glaceon: Yeah, why?

Jolteon: Because you were biting into the plastic cone.

Glaceon then notices the bite marks on the cone and throws the cone away in the trashcan near the bench.

Glaceon: Sorry, I didn't notice. Um, Jolteon?

Jolteon: Yeah?

Glaceon: I want more ice cream.

Jolteon: What!

We then cut to the living room of the house to see Glaceon and Jolteon open the front door.

Glaceon: Home at last.

Jolteon: We would've been here a lot earlier if you didn't ask for 10 more ice creams.

Glaceon then gives Jolteon an unamused look.

Glaceon: Shut up. Anyway, I'll be in my room reading the new books if you need anything.

We then cut to Glaceon's room as we then see her reading her new book with a heart with an arrow shot through it on the cover.

Just then, there was knocking on the door. Glaceon then opens the door.

Glaceon: What do you want?

Jolteon: I thought you might want company, but I'm ok if you don't want any.

Glaceon: No, it's fine.

Jolteon then enters the room and sits down on the bed, reading the comic he got from the store.

A few minutes pass by, and Glaceon starts to think with herself a bit.

Glaceon: *Should I ask him? No, I don't want to get on his nerves. But I want to know.*

This continues until she finally agrees with herself and sighs, which grabs Jolteon's attention.

Glaceon: Hey Jolteon, can I ask you a question?

Jolteon: Sure, what is it?

Glaceon: This might get too personal, but what happened between you and Stella?

Jolteon: Why do you want to know that?

Glaceon: The curiosity got the better of me, and there were things that helped fuel it.

Jolteon: Um, sure, I'll tell you what happened.

Glaceon: Really, I mean, you don't have to if it's too personal.

Jolteon: No, I'm fine with it, we broke up 4 years ago.

Glaceon: So what went wrong.

Jolteon: Nothing went wrong. The relationship I had with Stella was the healthiest one I had. Especially after the last being a one-sided relationship.

Glaceon: So what happened for you two to break up?

Jolteon then sighs.

Jolteon: Well, after 3 years of being together, Stella's family had to move to a different region.

Glaceon: Why?

Jolteon: Apparently, her father got a new job opportunity, so they needed to move.

Glaceon: I'm sorry for what happened.

Jolteon: Don't be. I'm over her, and I had siblings to support me. And can I say something to you?

Glaceon: Yeah, what?

Jolteon: I'm sorry.

Glaceon: For what?

Jolteon then sighs.

Jolteon: I'm sorry for calling you those mean things when we first met.

Glaceon then gives a look of unsurety..

Glaceon: Really?

Jolteon: Really.

Glaceon: But I thought you said that saying sorry doesn't make water under the bridge.

Jolteon: I know what I said, but I will admit I was overreacting during that argument.

Glaceon: You were?

Jolteon: Yeah, I'll admit I have a problem with that.

Glaceon: Well then, I'll forgive you this time. But I'll ask you one, why did you stay here?

Jolteon: To keep an eye on you.

Glaceon: No, not that. The other reason is the one that you mentioned to Espeon.

Jolteon then sighs.

Jolteon: Well, the next day, after the argument, while Espeon replaced my bandages, she told me to make water the bridge with you. And I thought that this might be a good opportunity.

Glaceon: Really?

Jolteon: Yes, but the more time I got to spend with you, the more I felt we got closer as friends.

Glaceon: I would say more like acquaintances, but I would be lying if I didn't feel the same way.

Jolteon: So, can we agree to let the past behind us?

Jolteon then holds out his paw

Glaceon: Sure.

Glaceon then grabs Jolteon's paw and shakes it.

After the paw shakes Glaceon, then yawns

Jolteon: You're tired?

Glaceon: Yeah, it's been a long day.

Jolteon:  Well, let's get you in bed then.

Jolteon then gets off the bed and helps Glaceon get tucked in.

Glaceon: Thank you

Jolteon: You're welcome.

Jolteon walks to the door, but Glaceon then says.

Glaceon: You can sleep here if you like.

Jolteon then looks back, unsure.

Jolteon: You sure?

Glaceon then nods

Jolteon: Ok, I'll get my pillow then.

A few hours later, we see Glaceon in bed sleeping and Jolteon on the floor sleeping. But just then, Glaceon then fell off the bed.

We then see Jolteon sleeping on the floor while Glaceon hugged him in their sleep.

An hour later

We then hear Leafeon on the other side of the door.

Leafeon: Sis, we're back.

She then opens the door and sees what Glaceon and Jolteon are doing on the floor and becomes in a state of shock.

Glaceon then wakes up and sees what she is doing and becomes startled.

Glaceon: Ah!

Jolteon then wakes up and notices that Glaceon is next to him and also becomes startled.

Jolteon: Ah!

Glaceon: What were you doing?!

Jolteon: I would ask you the same thing! Last thing I remember you were in bed, but now you're on the floor next to me.

After Jolteon gave the facts from his perspective, Glaceon's eyes widened after realizing that she started the situation, causing her to blush, which Jolteon doesn't notice.

Leafeon: I-I will leave you two alone.

Leafeon then quickly leaves

Jolteon: Leafeon, wait!

Jolteon then quickly leaves

We then see Glaceon stand up and give a questioning look.

Glaceon: Why do I feel like this?!

We then zoom out of the room to the outside of the house
