*DORA'S POV*

I had to leave Ebu to search for her boo while I go have some fun with the twins. The place was hell full and the dancing sweaty high school students just made the heat so bad that even the air conditioners didn't help a bit.

"Hey" grabbing my arm and spinning me to look at him.

"What do you want Kelvin" forcefully removing my arm from his grip. What's his problem, doesn't he understand that I hate him. I made that pretty clear the last time we spoke.

"Dora, please hear me out" he pleaded making me soften a little at his handsome face.

"What?" Folding my hands and waiting for a silly explanation that probably wouldnt help the situation.

"I made a mistake and I feel so stupid, I never wished to leave you Dora. Please I miss you"

I took some time to process the arrant nonsense he was saying. Chai Dora, na you fuck up. Did he expect me to hug him and say those cliché things they say in movies when the stupid ex comes and gives a sorry I miss you speech.

"Well I got news for you" walker closer to him, "I don't regret leaving you and I wouldn't want you around me, because I just realized that you added nothing to my human race" I spat. Kelvin looking shocked at what I said.

"You dont mean that do you?" a hint of anger in his voice.

Wait, he wan vex for me now??

"Stop giving yourself hope that peoples lives end without you in it, Im a living testimony, my life has been nothing but a fairy tale without you" I know I was lying because I ended up failing chemistry and my life has never been a fairy tale. But he cant know that.

"You cant be serious Dora" he said, more like shouting.

Hmmm, I no go tolerate this boy to dey raise voice for me oh.

"Is he bothering you?" Kunle asked, where did he come from and what is really his business. But I was more than glad when he stepped in because Kelvin was vexing me.

"Kunle, stay out of this"Kelvin shot

"Why would I?, she's not your girl any more"

"You know what?" cutting them off, "I don't have time for the both of you" leaving the two boys.

I've made up my mind that I wouldnt associate with those boys, and as much as Kunle isn't such a bad person, I cant risk any chances.

I walked over to see Kemi having a great time dancing with JJ!!!!!!!!

I rubbed my eyes to see, maybe Kelvin don drop small something for my eyes, but I still saw it. She was laughing and dancing with him, I know that Kemi loved partying with boys and all, but JJ ke??? She hates that boy with her whole soul.

"Kemi" I called. She turned to me as if she just saw one of her dead grandfathers staring at her.

"Em, Dora" quickly letting go of JJ and walking over to me. "Its not what you think"

"Well I just saw you and JJ over there who is still staring at you" looking at JJ behind whose eyes were still glued to Kemi," Laughing and him doing what so ever to your ass in the name of dancing!" It was disappointing, I'm starting to sound like my mom now.

"Dora abeg don't tell Femi about this"

"Why? And where is she now, let me start reporting you"

"Abeg na, she's not even here. She said she had to study"

"Ehhen" looking at Kemi that was shaking like a half dead insect, I was about to continue my questioning before my phone started ringing. Chisom.

"Hello" still eyeing Kemi, now she no get mouth ahbi?

"You need to get here in less than thirty minutes, if you dont want to get in serious trouble with your mom"

Chineke!!, I quickly left Kemi and went to look for Ebu. I searched everywhere in the house, both upstairs and downstairs. "Where this babe dey na", starting to panic. I ran outside pushing anyone in my way and ignoring their glares or abusive comment. If my mother finds out, I am as good as finished.

"Ebu!" spotting her and Mayo smiling and talking. Guy, Mayo looked good in anything.

"Yes D" Ebu answered

"Chisom just called, we need to leave here"

She turned to Mayo with this sad face and he gave her one of his billion dollar smile. She must yan me full gist by the time we reach house.

We immediately left there, Amanda was nowhere to be found and she wasnt picking up her phone so we had to use taxi. The way Ebu kept groaning was annoying.

She never enter taxi before????

I had to pay the taxi man extra for how I pressured him to drive fast. We both sneaked in through the back door and headed to our rooms successfully.

Finally giving a huge breathe of relief.

Knock knock

Ebu and I froze. We were still in our party clothes.

Which kin mama wey I get nah

The door immediately opened and out stood Chisom with her phone, and an icecream on her other hand.

"I was just pulling your legs girls, I gave her sleeping pills and she wouldnt be waking up till tomorrow. Did I cut your party time short??"

Dis girl na confirm witch

Ebu wanted to pull her eyeballs out but I just held her. At least we went for the party. After Chisom had gone and we were preparing to sleep, we made sure we told each other every thing that happened. I knew Mayo liked Ebu, so him kissing her isnt shocking.

"I think Kunle stood up for you because he likes you" She squealed. Watin dey worry dis one.

"Your not serious" turning the other way and shutting my eyes.

The class was noisy as usual, Kemi was really nervous and tried to avoid JJ who kept pursuing her like fly. Ebu and the other hand was giggling and talking to Mayo, while I just pressed my phone.

My life self ehh

"Hey" looking up to see Ebu, I thought she was....

"Yeah"

"Kunle wants to talk to you outside the class" she whispered, causing me to hiss loudly.

"Leave me oh Ebu"

"Just listen to him please, for me" with pleading eyes

I took I while to glare at her so she would know how she was disturbing me, "I will but just this once"

"Yes!, he's just outside the class" pointing at the class entrance before going back to Mayo.

I walked outside, seeing Kunle leaning on the wall with his both hands shoved in his pocket. "They said I should listen to you, you have one minute"

"So I've been thinking about you lately Dora and I cant seem to get you out of my mind. I would really love for us to hang out after school" he said, I tried not to stare right into those green charming eyes, before I start saying things

"Is that all?" giving with a reluctant attitude. I've learnt one thing, boys are all the same. Stupid and inconsiderate .

"Yes, pretty much" running his hands through his hair.

I looked at him from head to toe. "Dont expect me to get all dolled up for you" I sighed

Yes, I was going to go with him because... I need a life!!!

"It's you I want to go out with" he stated as if I didnt know.

I sneered at him and walked back inside the class, Ebu rushing to me," So"

"He asked me out "I said drying while taking my phone to continue what i was doing

"And"

"Just this once Ebu and I'm done" I shot. I was not ready for her motivational speech and certainly not her wahala.

"Yay!"

I promised a double release and i did!!!😁😁

Expect more drama too....Things have been running too smooth😏
