Later on as the sun began to set, (Y/N) stood outside admiring the beautiful view of nature she was fortunate enough to see. She heard the door behind her open and a presence made its way to stand beside her.

"Needed a breather? Can't say I blame you. They are great kids but honestly I don't understand how they can be so excitable all the time." Qrow sighed.

"No, I love their energy. It reminds me of better days." (Y/N) smiled.

"I guess, look who I'm talking to. I never understood how you had so much energy, I'd assumed you'd grow out of that as you got older." Qrow raised an eyebrow, grinning at her.

"Guess not everything changes." She smirked at him, her eyes glinted mischievously.

"God you are so excitable. I'm telling you, if you were a faunus you'd be a puppy." Qrow quipped.

"Well I'll take that as a compliment. I'd get to have an awesome sense of smell." She turned then held her nose at him. "Although then I guess I'd never be able to be around you."

He shot up straight, "What are you talking about?"

"Do you always reek of booze? Guess if I was a faunus you'd get your wish and I'd leave you alone, I just wouldn't be able to stand that god-awful stench. I thought you'd have kicked that habit by now?" (Y/N) rebutted.

"Guess not everything changes." He said with a smirk, mimicking her words from earlier.

She looked at him, taking in his playful expression before nodding, "Touché, my friend. Touché."

They gazed deeply in each other's eyes, unable to help the smiles that appeared on their faces. Both admiring the other as the colours of the setting sun cast a golden glow bathing them in beautiful sunlight.

Inside, team RWBY all had their hands over their mouths trying to hold in their laughs. Ruby and Yang looked at each other, the same emotion evident on both of their faces. It made them so happy to know that their Uncle had finally let someone in.
