Third Person's POV
Boring.
If there's one thing about Fuyumi is that she loved juicy topics and nothing was more juicy than romance. She loved getting into the romantic lives of friends and close ones and this by far had to be one of the most boring one she'd ever concerned herself with and this was her brother for crying out loud. It had been a week since Shouto and his soulmate Izuku started living together and so far nothing interesting has happened between them, they didn't even hold hands. Right now they were in the living room both working separately on their home works.
"The least romantic thing you two can do right now is to do the homework together." She said and they looked her way. "I've been watching you both for over an hour, you're both boring for a couple."
"What's with you?" Shouto asked and Fuyumi sighed again.
"Hey, the monthly soulmate festival is tomorrow right?" A smile appeared on her face, that would be a good time bonding for the two. They had told her they would be going with some friends but at some point they all had to go their separate ways. Her smile was replaced by a devilish smirk followed by a sinister laugh.

Izuku's POV
I was beyond scared by the look Shouto's sister was giving us, and she was even laughing, what evil thought ran through her mind? Were Shouto and I safe? Besides I had more problems, I couldn't get passed the second question of my homework. UA really was as tough as they said. Shouto pushed his sit closer and began helping me out, maybe he had noticed my confused state. There was a flash and we looked to see Mrs. Fuyumi holding a camera. What is wrong with this woman?
✨
It had been a while since I last saw home, I would go in to say hi but no one was in at the time. My mother was currently at the Shouto's residence and my dad...well God knows where he is. I wish my mum could just leave my dad and come live with me but she can't because my dad refused and she couldn't be away from her soulmate for so long. I keep walking, my destination is the Bakugou residence, I wanted to meet Kacchan and ask about tomorrow. Uraraka did invite him, but being the type of guy he was, Kacchan wouldn't be interested but it was still worth a shot trying.
"Izuku, how's young Todoroki?" Mrs. Bakugou asked when I reached their home. "Any improvement in your relationship? How many times have you two kissed since your first one?"
"N-none."
"Tch." She frowned. "Fuyumi is right, you are boring. Katsuki has done a lot more with his girl." It was at that point I began hearing loud banging noises from upstairs. "Oh? They're having sex?"
"SEX?" Wasn't Kacchan taking it too far? Sex already? Didn't he just meet this girl? The noise got louder and I realized that there was no way it could be sex, it was a fight. Mrs. Bakugou seemed not to care, she just sat there calmly drinking her tea. What was going on upstairs? Was Kacchan beating his girl up?
"Please excuse me." I quickly leave and head up the stairs. I reach Kacchan's door and push it open. "KACCHAN, STOP, DON'T BEAT HER UP." I look in to see a sight I could not understand. Kacchan was pinned down to the bed with a half naked girl on top of him.
"DEKU? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Kacchan screamed.
The girl looked at me, blonde hair with yellow eyes. She smiled.
"Who's this my love? Your friend? He's cute."
"GET THE FUCK OF ME YOU HOE." Kacchan pushed her off him and she fell to the other side of the bed. "Weren't you taught to knock?" He asked me.
"Sorry but I wasn't thinking. I thought that you were fighting." I said.
"We were, but I easily overpowered him." She said as she got down from the bed, she tied her hair which had been let loose, probably from the struggle. She walked closer to me and I froze, this was not the time to, I was supposed to run. She was only in her underwear and she was walking closer to me.
"You're deku?" She walked around me. "For a second I thought you were a girl, Katsuki's always talking about you so I thought he was in love with you or something."
"Stop spouting shit." Kacchan gave her a pinch in her butt.
"So naughty." She smirked.
I think this was my cue to leave, the more I stayed, the more confused I became. I'm surprised that this girl tolerated Kacchan's behavior, maybe she was just like him? Sometimes the soulmate system really worked wonders, here I was feeling sorry for the girl that Kacchan ends up with but she looked happy being with Kacchan.
"I'm Himiko Toga. You are?"
"Izuku Midoriya."
"Izuku you are so cuuuuuuuuuuute." She grabbed me in her arms and hugged me tight. "I could just kiss you, but I won't, if I did, I'd die because of this soulmate thing." She giggled and let me go. "So, to what do we owe the visit?"
One look and this girl gave off the crazy type vibe to me. Would it really be a good idea inviting her with the group? She could scare them.
"Spit it out deku, what do you want?"
"About the festival tomorrow.."
Toga held Kacchan's hands and kissed his cheek, Kacchan turned red and so did I. Watching them made me feel a bit jealous, they really were close. This is what I wanted when I heard of soul mates.
"We're aware." Toga said. "A friend from school invited Katsuki and I and we'll be happy to attend. You'll be attending to right, with that cute boyfriend of yours."
"Um...err...yes."
"You know, this is my first time." She went over to the side of the bed where she picked up a book. "Of seeing a real couple like this." She showed me the book, the cover was two guys in an unspeakable position. I didn't even know when I screamed and looked away.
"DAMN IT, I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO GET RID OF THOSE CRAPS."
"Get rid of my BL? you must be mad Katsuki, I'd rather get rid of you."
This girl truly was a perfect fit for Kacchan.
✨
Third Person POV
The day of the festival arrived, it was like any other traditional Japanese festival but this one was specially made out for couples. The event was a night thing, it start by six in the evening and would go on till the next day. It was an exciting event, as past celebrants would describe it. Izuku and Shouto stood at a corner waiting, they had to distance themselves from the crowd to be able to see when the others arrived. It was approximately 6:45, fifteen minutes until the gates were opened. There was a huge crowd standing around, these were the couples that had met each other this month. Izuku looked about and saw men in suits, Fuyumi had told him that the festival was something official. For reasons unknown, there would be a record of couples kept and this was the way to do it.
The festival was compulsory, another deadly side of the soulmate system. During the festival, there's a secret and sacred event that will be held, everyone must be present for that, if you got your soulmate that month and you didn't attend the event....you and your soulmate would die the next day. Spooky. Very spooky indeed.
Izuku was getting cold, they had been out for too long.
"Are you cold?" Shouto asked.
"A little." He said. Izuku noticed Shouto taking off his jacket, that would make him cold instead. "Actually I'm not so cold anymore."
"You sure?" Shouto asked.
"Yea." Izuku said with a smile.
-
In the bushes, not too far from where Izuku and Shouto stood, there stood four peeping toms. Fuyumi's devious scheme was set to go and for it to work, she needed help from the others, her mum, Izuku's mum and Katsuki's mum.
"Damn it." She watched her brother and Izuku from the binoculars in her hands. "He rejected the jacket, what's with Izuku?"
"That boy is too dense." Mitsuki, Katsuki's mother said.
"Or maybe he's just thinking of son getting cold too." Mrs. Todoroki said.
"If that's it, then they should hug each other, they'll share body heat that way."
"Aren't we too old for this ladies?" Inko asked." She was not pleased with what she was doing, hiding in the dirty bushes and spying on children. She wasn't a teen anymore. She was a woman, a woman too old for this. "Let's leave them and let the spiritual soulmate gods do their part."
"The spiritual soulmate gods are demons, they make us see strangers who we're to spend eternity with not caring how it turns out." Mitsuki said. "You of all people should know that Inko."
"My life may have not gone so perfectly but I want a different story for Izuku." She said. "I wish a fallen angel will come right out of the sky to help Izuku with his life."
Just as she wished it, a ball of light came towards the earth. It looked like a comet.
"W-WOAH!"
"INKO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"
"HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW MY WISH WILL BE GRANTED?"
✨
Izuku's POV
It came right out of nowhere, a comet? There was no reports on that. It headed straight towards us, everyone panicked, running around looking for a place to take cover. In the panic, I separated from Shouto, pulled along with the crowd. The comet drew closer, people were screaming, saying their last prayers, it was at the last moment, the comet changed directions, moving upwards and going away from us. We all watched as it crashed faraway, was that really a comet? It just changed directions like it didn't want to hurt us, when were comets ever able to do that?
"Wow that was thrilling, I was so sure we would all die back there." I heard a familiar voice, it's Kacchan and Toga. Kacchan was on the ground trying to calm his breathing, he looked scared and exhausted. "You ok Katsuki?"
"What kind of a sick joke was that?" He said.
"Hey look it's Izuku." Toga caught sight of me, she pulled Kacchan up and ran along with him towards where I stood. "Hi Izuku." She looked around. "Where's your soulmate?"
"We got separated in the panic." I said.
People were getting scared, most wanted to leave but were refused, the gates opened and everyone had to move in. While going in I searched around for Shouto and I found him, he was with Uraraka.
"Guys, this way."She waved at us.
✨
Mitsuki got up from the ground, her head hurt, because of the comet, they had to take cover quick and it led to her banging her head on the hard ground. The others also began getting up.
"What was that?" Mitsuki asked. "I thought we were gonna die back there."
"It's Izuku and Shouto's guardian."
Fuyumi said as the older women gave her weird glances, they knew it wasn't like that. The logical thing was that it is was a simple coincidence, something made Inko say those words just as the comet was arriving.
"Fuyumi, did you bang your head so hard?" Mitsuki asked.
"Ever since that glorious meeting of my brother and his soulmate, I've always believed. Anything can happen and I'm certain, that's a guardian angel." Fuyumi said as she began to run. The others joined her.
"ARE YOU CRAZY? IT'S A METEOR, NOT A GUARDIAN ANGEL."
The four women ran towards the meteor crash, Fuyumi believed it was something out of the ordinary. When they got there, they saw dust all around. Fuyumi kept running but tripped and slid downwards screaming. She hit something and stopped.
"Ouch."
"Calm down Fuyumi." Mitsuki said as she helped her up. "We get you're excited but-"
"We're here." Fuyumi screamed and got up.
They were standing right in front of the comet, there was still dust all around it so it covered everywhere. Fuyumi moved round it, it wasn't so big from what she could feel. The other women followed her trying to hold her back, they were so close to something so dangerous.
"I thought it would be hot." Inko said.
Fuyumi knocked on it. "Hello? Anybody in there?"
"FUYUMI STOP THIS NONSENSE. I'M GETTING PISSED." Mitsuki screamed.
"Fuyumi dear, we should go back. This is just too dangerous." Her mum said, the three of them were ready to leave her there.
"Ladies, let's get the fuck out of here. Let Fuyumi daydream as much as she wan-"
Suddenly the comet began rumbling, Fuyumi's blood pumped in excitement.
"YOU SEE! YOU SEE! I TOLD YOU IT WAS SPECIAL!"
"THERE'S NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT AN EXPLODING COMET, RUN." Mitsuki yelled and dragged Fuyumi as they ran and took cover.
The rumbling continued on and there was indeed an explosion but it wasn't anything big to cause a damage. The women peeped to see what was happening, the comet suddenly opened up. Fuyumi wanted to scream in joy but Mitsuki held her mouth. As the comet opened, a figure walked out, they couldn't see who it was because of the smoke. While the others were scared, Fuyumi wasn't, she was way too excited for this. She wanted to know who this person was. She struggled to get out of Mitsuki's grip but the woman was so strong. The person walked further and further until there was a clear view of who they were.
"It's a man?" Inko asked.
The man was tall and large built with an overly muscular body and dressed like some kind of a hero you'd see in Western works.
"It's a god." Mitsuki said.
Fuyumi had no choice anymore, she bit Mitsuki as she finally let her go. Fuyumi ran as quickly as she could towards the man.
"Hello." She waved as the man looked at her. "Hi, hi, oh my gosh I am so excited right now, I just can't, I..um..err..hi, I'm Fuyumi and I, I just, I just-" Mitsuki once again grabbed Fuyumi trying to pull her back. "Let go, let go Mrs. Bakugou." She struggled. "I need to talk with the guardian angel."
"Angels do not wear superhero costumes." She said.
"The blonde woman is right, I am not an angel human." The man spoke. "Angels are more superior beings than I am."
"Then who are you stranger?" Fuyumi asked.
"I am All Might, I come from the table of council members in charge of soulmate assigning."
"WAAAAAAAAAAA.!!!!!!!"
✨
Izuku's POV
We had all met up with each other in the festival. Uraraka gave us quite the surprise introducing us to her soulmate who was Iida from class. They didn't want to make it known yet to the class but were now ready to do so. We went in our group to different places until a point came when Toga wanted some alone time with Kacchan. Sero too took the chance to be alone with his girl, Iida wanted to get closer to Uraraka as her lover so also wanted to be alone for the moment. Asui's soulmate was a college student, he had gotten tired of being with the kids so pulled Asui to be alone with. Then there was Shouto and I. We didn't do anything much, we were currently under a tree eating tokoyakis.
"How's today been Shouto-kun?" I asked him trying to start up a conversation.
"It's been ok I guess."
"You guess?"
He looked up. "That comet? I'm wondering about it. A comet appearing out of no where. We would have been alerted if it were coming."
"Is that what's on your mind?" It was on my mind as well. That was too close, the comet, as everyone called it nearly hit us, that was a near death experience and I never wanted it happening to me again. "Did you notice what happened as the comet passed?"
Shouto raised his front part of his hair that covered his head, showing me his soulmate mark. That meant he knew too. Once the comet came close, my soulmate mark lit up so brightly as did everyone else's around me. Most people barely noticed because they were too busy panicking from the situation.
"To tell you the truth, I was scared."
"So was I."
I finished up my Tokoyaki and talked some more with Shouto. It was fun talking with him, we really needed more time to just sit together and talk to each other. Maybe like a date. We were a couple after all, I was thinking it was time to act like it, going on dates would be a great start, simple dates likes the movies, the park and sight seeing.
"Shouto-kun, let's go on a date."
"Date?"
"I think it would be a great kick in our relationship."
-
Shouto's POV
A kick in our relationship? I didn't think I wanted that. Izuku was a great person, he really was but love wasn't something on my radar at the moment. I remembered my sisters warnings, if I didn't fall for him, if anything were to happen to him, I would die too. A date? It seemed harmless, I couldn't turn him down after all.
"Ok, where do we go to?"
"We'll decide that when we first pick out a day." Izuku said. "Even if we're both guys, we should at least try to-"
Izuku stopped talking and turned red. He was hot again? But it was night time and so cold.
"Are you-"
"I'm fine."
Someone giggled, it was Bakugou-san's soulmate, she walked over to us holding a heart shaped balloon in one hand and a large stuffed panda in the other.
"You two are so cuuuuuuute." She said and sat between us.
"Toga-san, where's Kacchan?"
"Bathroom." She said. "He drank too much."
"You know Toga-san, I'm really glad you're Kacchan's soulmate. I used to pity whoever would have been in your position. I didn't think any girl could handle his behavior."
Izuku found it easy talking to Toga-san, it didn't take a while before they were both deep in a discussion. They talked more about Bakugou-san, Toga-san told him about how much she had come to like Bakugou-san.
"Toga what's your take on this soulmate thing?"
"It sucks." She said. "I would have loved to choose who I wanted to be with, I had my eyes set on the perfect person but Katsuki is still a cutie." She looked at her watch. "Ah! It's almost time guys, the highlight of this festival. Lets go, let's go. Katsuki will meet us there."
✨
Third Person POV
The women stared in excitement at the man before them, yes now they were all excited after he had introduced himself. There was no room for disbelieve because they were already aware of the soulmate fantasy and he literally rode in a comet. Fuyumi was the most excited of all, she had so many questions she wanted to ask, so many things she wanted to know about soulmates and the creators.
"So what are you doing on earth?" Inko asked.
The man looked relunctant to say anything, it was to be expected that he'd try to remain secretive of such a life.
"Forgive me, but I must go. I'm on a mission and I-"
There was siren noises, the government had reached the area. It would be strange of them not to investigate an unannounced meteor that came out of no where. All Might didn't want to be seen, he could easily escape by using his speed and leaving but he had to take the women along, they could get into trouble if he left them. He picked each of them up, Fuyumi and Mitsuki was kept on his shoulders while Inko and Fuyumi's mum were held in his hands.
"I am slightly turned on right on."Mitsuki said.
"MITSUKII!!"
"Hang on humans."
"Enough with the humans, call us ladieeeeeeeeeeee" All Might took off with speed leaving that area.
-
The women were still feeling drowsy from the sudden speed the man took them in, he apologized many times. It was all he could do at the moment to ensure their safety.
"It's ok All Might." Fuyumi said.
"Please humans, I ask that you do not tell anybody about-" He stopped talking when he saw a devious smirk on Fuyumi's face. Maybe she was one of those deceitful ones the council talked about. He knew he had gotten himself into one hell of a problem.
