Aiden POV

I float there, not knowing what to do since this giant kaiju dragon is probably sending a billion Ostrum looking dragons to Earth. I look around and spot Otohime, Howlingstar, Amadeus, Garnet, and Machina in their Dragon forms. 

Gravattack: They're crazy. Can't say I'm any different though. 

I spread my limbs and hit the Ultimatrix and it grows 4 spikes, evolving me.

Gravattack: Ultimate Gravattack!

I fly down to Earth, surviving atmospheric re-entry and hovering over the city. 

Gravattack: LEEROY!

I lift my arms and use my gravity powers to lift several Ostrums, and I send out my litte planetoids to do the same. I crush them by focusing a gravitational field around them, making them explode. I expand the range of my gravitational field and lift about a hundred Ostrums, and crushing them under my gravitational field. But, then they start firing at me, but it's useless as their attacks orbit around me. 

Gravattack: What goes around. Comes around. 

I then fire them back to sender. The planetoids fly back to me and I keep simultaneously attacking and defending. The planetoids definitely help, but then I spot Yonamine and Yuuri running from an Ostrum. 

Gravattack: Not today! Not ever. 

I fly towards them as another Ostrum cuts them off. Otohime rams one into the sky and destroys it. While the other one gets ready to fire at them, but I lift him up with my powers, then the Planetoids surround him and crush him with their gravitational fields. 

Yuuri: Aiden!

Yonamine: What's up! 

I float in front of them.

Gravattack: Oh you know. Millions of dragons, Thanatos overtaking humanity, this feeling like Judgement Day from "Terminator 2", y'know fun times. 

Yuuri: How can you joke at a time like this?

Gravattack: It's part of my charm. You would know.

Yuuri: I-I don't know what you're talking about. Just go be a hero. 

She says while her cheeks are flushed and I notice it. 

Gravattack: Uh huh. Are you su--

Yuuri: Just go!

Gravattack: Yes, mam! 

I fly off into the sky, make it past an army of Dragons and make it into space. Only to see Nozaki, in his Dragon form fly at an army of Dragons and glowing. 

Gravattack: Shit. 

I fly past Gio, but Nozaki lets out a blinding light and destroys a whole army of Dragons, including himself. 

Gravattack: Asta la vista, Nozaki. 

Gio looks at me and I look at him. So I use my Gravity powers on him, and launch him towards Thanatos' head. After that's done. I fly down to Earth in a hurry. As I fly down to the ground, I see Sieglinde and Amadeus crash down. This is followed by Itsuki and Otohime, Raina and Howlingstar, then finally Garnet and Machina. I fly towards them , press the Ultimatrix, devolve and change back into human form. 

Aiden: Man, you guys got your asses handed to you. 

Machina: Aiden, that's rude. 

Aiden: Sorry Machina...

Howlingstar: Let's take a quick breather then get back to winning this battle. What do you say guys? 

Everyone in the group agrees. 

Garnet: At least we'll go out fighting. 

Sieglinde looks around at everyone agreeing, then agrees too. But then notices Ostrums surrounding us. 

Aiden: We can't catch a break can we?

Machina: We can't take them all out in weakned.

Garnet: At this rate we're going to be taken out. 

As more surround us, I make the riskiest move, and turn the ring at a certain transformation.

I stare at it then, both Garnet and Machina look at the option I'm going to choose. And look at me worried. 

Garnet: Aiden. 

Aiden: I know. It's risky. But we can't take them all on! 

Garnet: You could get stuck as him forever!

Machina: We may never see you again!

Aiden: I'm willing to roll the dice. 

I raise my hand to hit the ring down but Machina tries to stop me. By catching my wrist and stopping me. 

Aiden: Machina! 

Machina: No! I won't let you!

Aiden: I have to!

Machina: No! There has to be another form you can use that doesn't include that big of a bargain!

Aiden: Okay let's go over other options. Clockwork's powers, I don't know how to time travel to change events, even if I did I would probably mess something up. Gravattack's powers can't affect a billion at once. Way Big would be a giant target and be overwhelmed. And all my other forms are either too weak or would be overwhelmed. 

Machina looks down in defeat, knowing I'm right. Then I hear her crying. So I embrace her. 

Aiden: I have to Machina. I made a promise, to keep you and Garnet safe. Even if I didn't make a promise, I can't lose you both. 

Then, Garnet puts a hand on Machina's shoulder. 

Garnet: He's right, Machina. And you know it. 

Machina: Yes... But I don't want him to leave me... So, incase you don't come back...

She then wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me into a kiss. I did not see that one coming so I caress her cheek as we kiss. Then I pull back. 

Garnet: That's not--

I then wrap one arm around her waist and kiss her before she can say anything. Then pull back. 

Aiden: Were you saying something? 

Garnet: ...Just come back you crazy boy. 

I nod, look at the transformation. Then I look at the others. 

Aiden: "Laugh hard, run fast, be kind."

I hit the ring down and transform into my most powerful form. 

Aiden: ALIEN X!

No One's POV

Alien X stands there, motionless, which confuses the others on why he's not doing anything. 

Sieglinde: What's happening? Why isn't he doing anything? 

Machina: Aiden has to convince Alien X to cooperate. 

Garnet: He has to make his personalities agree on what action to take. Only then can Alien X do something. 

Sieglinde: Let's hope he has a good argument then...

Inside X's mindscape, Aiden finds himself floating in front of the two personalities of Alien X. The voice of wrath and aggression, Bellicus. And the voice of love and compassion, Serena. 

Serena: Oh look Bellicus! It's Aiden Raynes! 

Bellicus: Ugh. It's been years since he used Alien X and now he comes crawling back. 

Aiden: I'm not even gonna try to deny that. But I'm not sorry I didn't use Alien X for years. Last time I could've been stuck as him. 

Bellicus: You're the Voice of Reason, what did you expect. You're supposed to settle our arguments. 

Aiden: I don't have time for this. Literally. Look. I just need Alien X, I'm literally desperate right now. Some giant planet sized Dragon. And I have girls I want to see live. 

Bellicus: Thanatos will make humanity part of it's vast consciousness, I don't see the problem. 

Aiden: I can barely handle being Alien X with you two being here. What. Do you think I'm okay with that?

Serena: Probably not. 

Aiden: Exactly. Now. I know you're upset but Alien X is the only option I have. Now look. I have a proposition for you both. 

Serena: Interesting.

Bellicus: I don't see how your proposition will work but let's hear it, I want to get back to arguing in peace. 

Outside of the mindscape the Ostrums get ready to fire but they never do as they fire at each other. 

Itsuki: What just happened?

Otohime: They killed each other...

Sieglinde: Then that means...

Machina: Aiden! 

They all look at Alien X, as he levitates upwards and spreads his arms. All the Dragons in the world stop what they're doing, and obey his commands as they fly back into space. 

Alien X: Motion Carry!

He then makes them merge back with Thanatos using his Omnipotence. 

Howlingstar: Incredible...

Otohime: A being of infinite power. Hard to believe a being like that actually exists. 

Once Alien X is done with that. He then looks up at Thanatos, and flies towards the head in an instant. Teleports inside it's mouth. 

With Jin and Toa, they see the spirits of the ones that merged with Thanatos. They tell it that they refuse to merge, because what it's offering isn't living. But loneliness of becoming one singular being. Then Alien X appears before them, as they hold hands, the all powerful being sets them free. They look at him with a smile, but it's something Alien X can't express. Instead, he puts his hand on Toa's back, and changes her very being so she can live a life with Jin. Then, he looks at the spirits, that are really Thanatos. 

Thanatos: Are you saying I'm all alone? 

Jin: How could you not have known? 

Then everything turns white, and a being appears before them. 

Jin: What the?

Everyone, including Alien X look up at the being that appears before them. 

Toa: Mother?

Jin: Are you Thanatos? 

Thanatos: Victory is yours. It would seem I spent too much time alone in the emptiness of space. I have forgotten that one pure and essential truth that two hearts share. I will consider all that you have shown me. 

Toa: I think she's... Mother are you smiling?

Gio catches up with us. Thanatos then looks at Alien X.

Thanatos: You wield infinite power at your finger tips. Yet, you use it with great care, and responsibility. You change the littlest things, and nothing more. Someday, in the distant future, I shall visit this world again. I don't know who will inhabiting it when I do. Only time will tell. Until then, this is farewell. 

With that, Alien X then snaps his fingers and teleports Jin, Gio, and Toa to Earth. While he remains in space. 

Meanwhile in his mindscape. There is still some words that need to be said. 

Aiden: So we all agree right. I change back, I keep my end of the bargain. And you do too. 

Serena: It is an interesting proposal. I have to agree. Bellicus??

The Voice Of Wrath groans in annoyance but gives in. 

Bellicus: Yes... We will keep our end of the bargain if you do. 

Aiden: Good. 

Back on Earth. Gio, Jin, and Toa are safely on Earth. And everyone is glad they're there. But, Machina notices someone is missing. 

Machina: Where's Aiden? 

They look around, but don't see him anywhere. 

Machina: Where is he?

Toa: I.. I don't know...

Jin: He was with us a minute ago! 

Garnet: ...Great...

But then Otohime notices a certain all powerful being floating towards them. 

Otohime: Look!

She points at the sky and they all look to see Alien X, floating towards them, and landing right in front of them. 

Machina: Aiden...?

She slowly walks towards him.

Garnet: Are you in there? 

Then two other people come running towards him, those people being Yonamine and Yuuri. She looks at Alien X, who is looking at everyone in front of him. 

Alien X: Our work is done. 

Without touching the Ultimatrix, Alien X's form changes back to that of a human. 

Aiden: Miss me? 

Machina: Aiden!

She jumps and hugs him tightly. Determined not to let him go. 

Aiden: I came back. It's okay. 

Garnet: You're crazy. 

But she grins and comes up behind him.

Garnet: I love that~

The fact that she whispered that in his ear, sent shivers down his spine. They both stand by him, happy that he came back to them, but. One more person wanted to show that too. Yuuri, who was pushed by Yonamine to go to him. 

Yuuri: Aiden. 

He turns to see Yuuri walking to him, and once they're in front of each other. He grabs her hand, and puts his other hand over it. 

Aiden: Don't worry. I didn't forget. 

He embraces her, surprised, she returns the embrace. He pulls back to say something to her.

Aiden: Looking forward to our date. 

He then walks to Jin and Toa. 

Aiden: You two need to go on proper dates. 

Jin: I agree. 

Aiden: Can you also do me a favor? 

Jin: Name it. 

Aiden: Don't let her go. Don't ever. Let her go.
