Luke: Are you going to keep complaining?

Right now the three friends were at their lunch table with Gus and Willow. Since the three of them wanted to study all magic in their classes that meant there was a lot on their plate. Currently Y/N is having trouble with the abomination classes. Y/N slams his head on the table as he groans. Luz couldn't help but giggle.

Luz: Hey come on it can't be that bad.

Y/N: *lifts his head up* Easy for you to say. At least you get the subject.

Luke: Maybe if you spend least time sleeping then maybe you'll understand it better.

Y/N was going to say something but couldn't since Luke had a point as he slammed his head down.

Luz: Hey if you need help I could help you out.

Luke: Yea nice try Luz, we both know you still need help in Illusion.

Luz just chuckles nervously.

Y/N: *looks at Willow and Gus* Can one of you guys help me?

Willow: Sorry Y/N but I have to stay behind and help with the plant track.

Gus: And I have to stay and help others with their Illusion magic. *points to Luz and whispers* She needs help.

Luz: I can still hear you Gus.

This made Gus flinch a bit as Willow just giggled. Y/N let out a groan and looked at Luke.

Y/N: Can't you help me Luke?

Luke: As much as I would love to help you, Not really though.

Y/N: (You could have said that last part in your head.)

Luke: Well I have to watch over Emira and Edric.

Gus: I thought they had good grades.

Luke: I'm not helping them study.

Everyone raised their eyebrows at Luke.

Luke: *sighs* Apparently the teacher has put me "incharge" of them.

Gus: Meaning?

Luke: Keeping them out of trouble.

The group all said oh after Luke said that.

Luz: You always were put in charge of others.

Luke: I always wonder why I get put in with trouble makers.

Everyone: Hey!

Luke: Not you Willow.

Willow just smiled while the others were still offended.

Luz: What about us!?

Luke: What about you?

This made Luz pout as Willow just giggled. Y/N put his head back on the table and groaned.

Luke: *sigh* Look if you need help with abomination magic, maaaybe you should go to someone who's good at it.

Y/N: *lifts his head and looks at Luke* Like who?

Luke: I don't know. Someone who is skilled with it, Someone who's a star student of hexside, Someone who's-- Oh for the love of, I mean Amity you idiot!!

This made both Luz and Willow look at Luke with mixed emotion. Luz was glaring at him for the suggestion, while Willow gives him a worried look.

Y/N: Oh Right! I should have thought of that sooner! *gets up* Thanks Luke!

Y/N then dashes out of the cafe and runs to the halls to look for Amity. Luke watches as he sighs and goes back to eating, until he notices two people staring at him.

Luke: Ok why are *points his fork at Luz* you glaring and you *points at Willow* are staring at me?

Luz: Why did you suggest that?

Luke: What? Jealous he's spending time with Amity?

Luz: *blushes* N-No I'm not!

Luke: You sure? You look a little red there.

Gus: Yea you feeling alright Luz?

Luz: *blush more* I'm fine!

Luz went back to eating her food to distract herself as Gus looked at her confused. Willow continues to look at Luke.

Willow: Are you sure that was a good idea?

Luke: The little Blight might be a pain, but she can help to make sure he doesn't get a bad grade. (And one least nuisance for me to deal with.)

Willow: Yea but..

Luke: I know you two have bad history, but at least trust her to help him out.

Willow was a bit unsure but decided to trust Lukes better judgment.

Willow: Sooo you watching Emira...

Luke: (Oh Damn it.)

Cuts to Amity getting her stuff out of her locker.

Amity: *sigh* All these classes are killing me.

As Amity was busy getting her stuff out she didn't notice a certain dragon boy walking up behind. Amity closes her locker only to be met with Y/N in front of her.

Y/N: Hey Amity!

Amity: *sreams* Ahh!

Amity drops her books and quickly draws a circle. Another circle appears over Y/N's head and an abomination fist slams on Y/N crashing him into the ground. Soon the hand and circle disappears and Y/N is in the small creator twitching.

Y/N: *groans* I'm going to feel that tomorrow.

Zack: This is shockingly familiar.

Amity: *realizes* Y/N!

Y/N: *Gets up* Hey Amity.

Amity: *glares* You better have a good reason for why you sneaked up on me?

Y/N: *sweats nervously* I-I didn't mean to! Honest!

Amity continues to glare at him until she sighs.

Amity: What do you want?

Y/N: W-Well you see I've been having trouble with my abomination classes.

Amity: I can tell. You're close to being the worst student.

Y/N then felt an arrow hit his chest from Amity's cold words.

Y/N: A-Anyway.. I was wondering if you can help me out? *puts his hands in a prayer* Please Amity!

Amity was staring at him for a bit and was thinking: On one hand she was busy with her own work but on the other hand she spend some time with Y/N.... No! Help him! Yea help Y/N!

Amity: *looks away with a little blush* O-Ok.

Y/N: *opens on of his eyes* Huh?

Amity: *looks at Y/N* I said I'll help.

Y/N: *gasp* Really!? *smiles* Thanks Amity, you're the best!

This made Amity blush a bit then she started to get serious again.

Amity: Meet me at the library at 8 o'clock. Don't be late *gets in his face* Am I clear?

Y/N: *sweats* Y-Yes ma'am.

Amity: *smiles* Good.

Amity picks up her stuff and starts to walk to her class.

Amity: See ya then Y/N.

Amity disappears around the corner leaving Y/N all by himself.

Y/N: S-She can be really scary sometimes.

Zack: Yet you still find her hot, don't you?

Y/N: *blushes bright red* Zack!!

Zack just chuckles as Y/N begins to walk back to his friends. The scene changes to the owl house with Y/N about to leave until Luz stops him.

Luz: Are you sure you two are just going to be studying?

Y/N: Yes Luz we are.

Luz: *gets in his face* Are you sure?

Y/N: *sweat drops* Yes Luz you don't have to worry.

Luz continues to glare at Y/N until they hear the door open to reveal Gus.

Gus: Hey Luz. Ready to study? *sees Luz in Y/N face* Uhhh what's going on?

Luz: *gets out of Y/N's face* Nothing. Let's get to studying.

Luz starts to head into the kitchen leaving Y/N and Gus by themselves.

Gus: What was that all about?

Y/N: *sigh* I have no idea Gus.

Gus: Well anyway where is Luke?

Y/N: With Ed and Em. They had late detention and Luke had to help the teacher watch over them. *puts his finger under his chin* I wonder how's it going?

With Luke and the twins currently at Hexside.

Luke: GET BACK HERE YOU TWO!!!

Edric: I told you he would be mad!!

Emira: Aww but he's cute when he's mad!

Luke: I WILL SHOW YOU CUTE WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!!

Right now the twins are currently running from Luke. Why, you ask? Well the twins were setting up a prank on their teacher by filling up a bucket of water with blue hair dye. Now the teacher was supposed to come and check on them soon but due to the teacher schedule he had Luke do it, and unknown to Luke that bucket ended up falling on his hair spilling all over him. Ed was trying to tell Em they should run but Em said not to worry.... That was until Luke removed the bucket off his head giving them a death glare. This made them panic and started to run as Luke was running after them with his hair color now changing to blue.

Edric: *turns while still running* If it makes you feel better Luke I think blue is a good color for you!!

Emira: *turns* Yea black and blue is a good look!

Luke: Aww thanks! As my token of gratitude I'll dye your hair color as well! *yells* THE COLOR RED WHEN I BEAT YOU BOTH TO A LIVING PULP!!

The twins, mainly Ed, let out a scream as they kept running away from Luke down the hexside halls.

Back with Y/N and Gus.

Y/N: Ehh I'm sure they'll be fine. *looks at his watch* Oh shoot I better go. Don't want to be late.

*runs out the door and waves back at Gus* Later Gus.

Gus: *waves back* Bye Y/N!

Y/N summons his flame wings and flies out the door and heads to the Library to meet Amity.

At the Library entrance.

Amity is currently walking back and forth waiting for Y/N.

Amity: Geez what's taking him so long.

???: Hey sorry I was late!

Amity looks up and sees Y/N flying down at her. He lands near her and smiles.

Amity: *walks up at him* You were almost late.

Y/N: *holds his hands up* Sorry I was a little busy.

Amity just sighed and smiled at him.

Amity: It's alright.

Y/N: Wait really?

Amity: Yep that just means I have to double your work.

Y/N: HUUH!? Y-Your kidding right?

Amity: *starts to walk inside* Come on now. Let's get started.

Y/N: W-Wait Amity. Y-Your kidding right?

Back with Luz and Gus.

Gus: To do illusions you must focus and concentrate on what you're trying to make. Like for instance I want to create a clone of myself.

Gus draws a circle and an illusion of himself appears.

Gus: I make an exact copy of it from its height down to its size.

Illusion Gus: With a hint of shoman ship.

As Gus was explaining Luz was too busy looking down at baby dragon sighing as she petted it. Both Gus's look at each other until the illusion Gus shrugged and disappeared.

Gus: *walks up to Luz* Hey Luz you ok?

Luz: *snaps out of it* Huh? *looks at Gus* Oh yea sorry Gus *rubs the back of her head* I zoned out for a second.

Gus: You ok?

Luz: Yea just *sigh* thinking.

Gus: *nods his head* I see. I might know what's wrong?

Luz jolted a bit, nervous that Gus probably knows what she's thinking.

Luz: Y-You do?

Gus: Of course. It's pretty obvious.

Luz: *panics and waves her hands around* G-G-Gus wait! It's not like that! I-I-I just wanted to make sure Y/N wasn'-

Gus: You're worried that you wouldn't get the hang of Illusion magic.

Luz: Huh?

Gus: *pats her back* Don't worry. I had trouble when I was starting out too. Trust me *smiles* It'll get easier.

Luz didn't know rather to be thankful Gus didn't realize she was thinking about Y/N or just wanted to facepalm from how slow he is. As Gus continued to explain Illusions Luz went back into her thoughts. For some reason the thought of him and Amity in the same room together made her feel uneasy. She didn't know why even though she was the one that wanted to friend the green haired witch. Was she jealous?.... Of course not! There is no way she would admit that she was jealous of her closest friend that she knew all her life spending time with another girl.

Back with Y/N and Amity.

Y/N: *lays his head on the desk* B-Brain hurty.

Amity: *giggles* Well at least you are somewhat understanding the material.

Y/N: I guess. *looks at Amity* Was this payback for showing up a little late?

Amity: *smiles* Maaaybe.

Y/N just pouts from that as he lifted his head up and went back to studying. Amity looks over and notices something.

Amity: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hm?

Amity: How come you still have a bandaid on your left cheek?

Y/N: Oh *rubs the bandaid* This?

Amity: Yea. I'm sure Eda or Viney could heal that up. So why still have it on?

Y/N: Well because *looks up at the ceiling* to keep a promise I made.

Amity: *confused* Promise?

Y/N: *nods his head* Yea. A while back I met a certain witch at one of the covent conventions. It was hard at first since she was kinda rude, mean, and said a lot of hurtful things to me and my friends.

Unknown to Y/N, Amity already knew that he was talking about how they "met" met. She had three arrows around her body each one of them had the same words of what Y/N said.

Y/N: But even though she said all those things for some reason I could sense something in her.

This made Amity curious.

Y/N: Whenever I looked into her eyes I could get this sense of sadness and regret. Like she didn't mean to say those things.

Amity was surprised by Y/N's words.

Y/N: Anyway I agreed to the witches duel against her. When I did and when we fought I realized just how strong she was. She was the first witch I had ever fought and I was still caught off guard. At first I thought I wasn't going to win, but then I realized I was holding back. *summons fire in his right hand* I remember what I told her that I wouldn't hold back so I didn't and I won. *frowns* But then we found out she cheated in our fight.

This made Amity flinch when she remembered her teacher making her cheat in that fight.

Y/N: She tried to tell everyone she didn't know that she cheated, and if I was anyone else I probably wouldn't believe her.... but I did.

Amity continues to stare at Y/N.

Y/N: *smiles* When I confronted her she explained to me what she had to do to get her where she is today: Her hard work, her training and her struggles. At that moment I saw the real her *looks at Amity* The real Amity Blight.

Amity was at a loss for words for a minute until she finally said something.

Amity: B-But why do you still wear that?

Y/N: *Smiles* Remember what I said after you told me about your hard work?

Amity had to think for a bit until it finally clicked.

Y/n: I think you're pretty cool Amity and if you want I want to help you with your dream.

Amity: [shocked] W-what? Why?

Y/n: [eyes go back to normal] Because I feel like we will both become stronger and learn more about each other.

Amity couldn't say anything at first but then she heard Y/N talk again.

Y/N: It also represents the second part of that promise. Our rematch.

Amity's eyes widened as she remembered.

Y/n: Amity wait! [Amity stops] Let's fight again sometime. All out, no tricks. Just the two of us showing our strength.

Amity couldn't believe what Y/N had told her.

Y/N: So that's why I wear this bandaid. To remember the promises I made to you.

Amity: I uh wow I *rubs the back of her head and blushes* Thanks Y/N.

Y/N: *shakes his head* No thank you Amity.

Amity: H-Huh?

Y/N: If it wasn't from our fight I would have always been afraid of my fire. I would still be afraid as I watch my friends get hurt or worse so Amity....

Y/N: I'm glad I got to met you.

It was then Amity had no words. Her whole face went through a new shade of red. She couldn't stop looking at his smile.

Y/N: Well anyway let's get back to studying *looks at the book* So if I can summon these things I'll probably be able to train against them.

Amity still was zone out the whole time. Y/N words kept echoing in her head over and over again like a broken record. She eventually stopped looking at him and looked down at the book as her whole face stays red while she twiddle her fingers the whole time.

Zack: *appears behind him* Heheh. Nice one Mr. Smooth.

Zack stared at the two and in an instinct he saw him in Lilith where Y/N and Amity were seated. He couldn't help but smile.

Zack: (Just like the old days.)

After a few hours of studying Y/N and Amity started to walk out the library.

Y/N: *stretches* Welp at least I got the hang of it (somewhat.)

Y/N looked at Amity and saw her with her head down. She's been quiet for a while after he told her why he wears the bandaid. Everytime he got her attention she would always jolt and get back to the subject.

Y/N: Hey Amity.

Amity: *jolts* H-Huh?

Y/N: You ok?

Amity: O-Oh yea *blush and waves her hand* I-I'm fine.

Y/N: You sure you've been zoning out ever since I told you about why I wear the bandaid. If I made you fell uncomfortable about it-

Amity: *waves her hand around* No it's not that! *clears her throat* It's just... That *plays with her hair* What you told me cut me off guard, and made me *whispers* happy.

Though it was low Y/N was still able to hear it and smiled as he walked up to Amity and patted her head.

Y/N: Aww I'm glad it made you happy.

Amity was again at a loss for words as her whole face turned a huge bright red.

Y/N: *realizes what he was doing* Uhh sorry you were just so cute I couldn't-

Y/N was not making it any better as Amity blush somehow in some way worsened.

Y/N: *blushes* No wait I mean! *looks at his watch* Look at the time to go! *summons his flame wings and flies back home* Bye Amity!

As Y/N flies back to the owl house, Amity puts her hand on her chest and looks down as a smile forms. Her heart was beating really fast just like all the times when she's around him. She was trying to figure out why whenever she was around him it would do that... But in reality she did know what it was, and tonight it confirmed it.

Amity: *starts to walk back home* To think someone like you stole my heart.... But... *smiles and blushes* I'm glad.

As Y/N was flying his whole face had a huge blush as he had his hand on his face.

Y/N: Ugh!! Why did I say that!?

Zack: Cause it's true.

Y/N: *turns and looks at Zack* Not helping Zack!

Zack: What am I wrong?

Y/N didn't say anything as he sighs and keeps flying as Zack just chuckles. Eventually he landed near the house and walked inside.

Y/N: I'm bac-

Before Y/N could say anything he was brought into a hug by Luz who was wearing her sleep wear.

Luz: You're back!!

Y/N: Whoa! Hey Luz.

Luz: *looks up and pouts* Why were you gone for so long?

Y/N: *nervously chuckles* S-Sorry it took more time then I realized. Abominations are harder than I thought.

Luz just continues to pout but still hugs Y/N tightly as Y/N hugged her back and smiled.

Eda: Awww isn't that a nice scene.

They both looked up and saw Eda coming down stairs with King on his shoulder.

King: More like sickening. Love in affection. Blah! Hatred and blood! Blood I say!

Luz: *rubs up and hugs King* Aww don't worry i have enough love for you to King.

King: Gck! I don't need love! I need hate!

Everyone couldn't help but chuckle from King's reactions. Y/N noticed something.

Y/N: Oh Luke's not back yet.

Luz: No he still must be with Emira and Ed-

Hotty: *opens the door* Guys you gotta see this!!

This made everyone jump a bit and they were about to scream at Hooty until they saw Luke with his hair color blue. Everyone just stared at Luke for a bit.

Out of nowhere everyone busted out laughing as they were on the ground. Even Hooty stretched on the ground laughing.

Luke: *growls* The twins.
