The scene opens up to Blight manor. It cuts over to the twins room with Emira sitting on the bed and watching Edric walking back and forth, with a nervous look on his face. He was wearing the same outfit that he wore at Grom. Why? Well our little Blight is about to go on his first official date.

Edric: M-Maybe this is a bad idea! Maybe I shouldn't do this!

Emira: Ed. Calm down. It will be fine

Edric: *looks at his sister with a panic look* What if it doesn't!? What if he hates the date!? What if he hates me!?

Emira: He won't hate you Ed. Sure he might give you a weird look, and probably roll his eyes--

Edric: Not helping!

Emira: But he won't hate you.

The "he" they were talking about was Luke Martins. Edric finally managed to ask Luke out for a date. Even though he sent the message to the wrong person, he still was able to land a date for him. Right now though the young Blight is currently panicking.

Edric: But what if he does!? What if he thinks I'm an idiot!?

Emira: I meeaan...

Edric: SIS!!

Emira: Kidding! Kidding! Just *sighs* Look, Luke may be a little or a lot moody and grumpy, but deep down he really cares. *smiles seductively* I mean he really shows he cares.

Edric: *uncomfortable* Sis, please don't put any disturbing images in my head.

Emira: Just saying, if you manage to get him in the bed

Edirc: Emiira...

Emira: *bites her lip* He definitely takes control.

Edric: *covers his ears* Please stop!!

Emira: Ok. Ok..... Just know he hates being a bottom.

Edric: I SAID---

Ding dong!

The doorbell rang, interrupting the twins' conversation.

Emira: Oh~ *looks over at Edric* Looks like your date is--

Edric had suddenly disappeared.

Emira: *looks around* Edric?

Edric: *offscreen* Edric's not here right now.

Emira looked over and heard her brother's voice in the wall. She was confused for a second until she looked down and saw a little mouse hole on the ground. The older Blight sighed heavily as she kneeled down and looked inside. She saw her brother in mouse form, looking at his sister.

Emira: What are you doing?

Edric: I decided to live amongst my fellow mouses.

Emira: *deadpan look* Ok first of all it's mice, not mouses.

Edric: *confused* Mices?

Emira: No not *squeezes between her eyes* Ugh. Ed.

Edric: What?

Emira: Just get out of there. You can't run away when you're about to go on your date.

Edric: I'm not running. I'm just doing what's known as a tactical retreat.

Emira was unamused from this. She sighed heavily knowing her brother wasn't going to come out. Soon an idea formed.

Emira: *gets up* Alright then, you can stay with your little mice buddies, while I take Luke out on a date.

Edirc:..... What?

Emira: I wonder what I should wear. Maybe something that can capture his attention.

Suddenly Edric ran out, transformed back into himself, and ran to the door.

Edric: *opens it fast* I'M THE ONE WHO WILL TAKE LUKE ON AN AMAZING DATE!! AND IT WILL BE AMAZING!!

Luke: *stands there surprised with flowers* Uhhhhh that's one way I guess.

Realizing what he just did, Edric looked at Luke and saw him wearing a black tux, with matching shoes and pants. He was holding blue flowers as he stared at him.

Luke: Sooooo you ready?

Edric: *blushes bright red* Luke! *chuckles nervously* What uhh what are you doing here?

Luke: Well a certain green hair Blight was going to take me on the most amazing date ever.

This made Edric blush when Luke repeated his words.

Edric: *rubs his head nervously* I-I uhh did say that, didn't I?

Luke: You did. Anyway *hands him the flowers* Here you go.

Edric looks down and takes the blue flowers.

Edric: Midnight flowers? How did you get these?

Luke: I know a guy that knows a plant girl. Anyway, ready?

Edric: Y-Yea.

As the two started to walk off Emria waved them off.

Emira: Have fun you two! Not too much fun ok!?

Edric: SIS!!

Luke: I'll kill you.

Emira: *giggles* Love you two.

Edric: *sighs and looks at Luke* Sorry about Emira, she can be a little...

Luke: Indagour to my health?

Edric: Yea...

Luke: It's fine. So *looks at Edric* What do you have in mind for this date?

Edirc: Follow me I know just the place.

Chibi Timeskip

Luke and Edric were currently at a dining restaurant. Around the place it was fancy.

Luke: *looks around* Got to say, you know how to treat a person, Edric.

Edric: *smiles proudly* Yep! Might have caused me a lot of chores and probably owed a lot of favors to my sisters, but it was all worth it.

Luke: I see..

Suddenly their waiter appeared.

"May I start you two off with something to drink?"

Luke: *looks at the menu* I'll just have a glass of water.

Edric: Ha! Water good one Luke!

The waiter and Luke stared at Edric.

Edric: *clears his throat* I'll uhh I'll have a water too.

"Coming right up."

The waiter left, leaving the two in an uncomfortable silence.

Edric: So uh Luke!

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* Yea..?

Edric: How have you been?

Luke: *shrugs his shoulders* Eh the usual; training, dealing with idiots, and just trying to survive.

Edric: Aye! I bet surviving is pretty easy when you have a weapon like that!

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* What do you mean by that?

Edric: *starts to panic* U-Uh I mean! Your sword! *chuckles nervously* Y-Yea sword! It's long and cuts! *blushes in embrasement* I-I mean!

As Edric was trying to find the right words to say, Luke just stared at him. He could help but find the little Blights' embarrassing face adorable.

Demon: Cute, sad, but cute... Is what you're thinking.

Luke: (Shut up.)

While Edric was trying to find the right words to say, a witch came up to the two.

"Is that you Edric?"

The two turned over and saw a little witch girl. She had long white hair, brown eyes, with light skin. She was wearing a black dress, with matching black heels and a black tiara on her head.

Edric: *tries to force a smile* Heey, Katie.

Katie: I figured it was you. *notices Luke* Oh~ What's this? *looks at Edric* Is this your new boy toy?

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* Boy toy?

Katie: *looks at Luke* Guess you don't know, Edric here always sees boys as nothing but toys for him. Once they lived out their usefulness for him, he just discards them like their trash.

Luke looked over at Edric and noticed he was looking down sadly. It looked like he was ashamed from hearing that.

Katie: *looks at Edric* So Ed~ Still be thinking about me?~

Edric: *grumbles* No I haven't.

Katie: *laughs in a mocking matter* Oh of course not. After all, you are the one that canceled our engagement.

Luke: Engagement?

Katie: You see both Edric's parents and mine wanted the two of use to be engaged so we can become great business partners, however Eddy here decided to go against that.

Edric: I only did it because I knew the two of use wouldn't be happy to-

*comes with 2 cups of water* "You're water is-"

Splash!

Katie had grabbed the water from the waiter's tray and splashed it on Edric. This made everyone look over and watched in shock. Edric looked down at his drenched covered suit, while Katie had a look of disgust.

Katie: How exactly do you know about my happiness? You should just follow orders like a good boy.

Edric squeezed his pants. Even with the water falling off from his body, you could tell he was crying. He gets up and starts to run out of the restaurant. Luke watches and couldn't help but feel hurt from what happened.

Katie: So cutie~ Whatever the Blight boy was paying you to do this little date, I can give you double that.

Outside the restaurant

Edric was seen crying behind the place. He couldn't believe what just happened. He finally had the courage to ask Luke out, and thanks to Katie it was ruined.

Edric: I knew this was a bad idea.... Guess I should just go home.

Before the Blight could leave, Luke suddenly walked out with his hands in his pockets.

Luke: Yo.

Edric: *looks up at Luke* Oh! Hey Luke. This turned out badly huh. Guess we should just head home.

Luke: *looks at Edric for a moment and turns around* Follow me.

Edric looked up and saw Luke started walking off. The Blight gets up and wonders if he should follow him or not. Wanting to see where he was going, Edric decided to follow him.

Chibi Timeskip

The two were walking deep inside a forest. As the two were walking, Edric couldn't help but be curious about where Luke was taking him.

Luke: We're almost there.

Edric: (He said that 10 minutes ago.)

Luke: *steps out of a bush* We're here.

Edric caught up to Luke and looked to see here was. As he looked, the older Blight was amazed on what he saw.

Edric: I-It's beautiful.

Luke: *walks up towards the water* It's a place I found when I come to think. *looks over at Edric* Think of it as my own little area.

Edric: A-And you're fine with me being here.

Luke: *turns around* I brought you here, didn't I?

Luke stopped near the sand and sat down. He looked over at Edric and patted a spot beside him. Taking the hint, Edric made his way over and sat down beside Luke.

Edric: S-Sorry...

Luke: *looking at the water* For what?

Edric: For how the date went. If I knew she would have been there, I would have planned to do something else. *hugs his knees* Growing up, I... Never really had any true friends. The so-called friends I did have were stuck up jerks, or people my parents wanted me to get along with to better their business... You, Y/N, and Luz are kinda my actual real friends.

Luke: I guess I should feel pretty honored.

This made Edric chuckle a bit. He always loved Luke's nonchalant attitude. It's one of the things he adored about him. As he was thinking about that he couldn't help but ask Luke an important question.

Edric: *Nervous* H-Hey Luke. C-Can I ask you something?

Luke: Go ahead.

Edric: *pokes his fingers together* A-Are you by any chance... Um well... You know...

Luke: Are you asking if I'm into guys?

Edric: *looks at him shocked* Luke!

Luke: What? That was the question wasn't it?

Edric: Yea but still.

The two went back to looking at the lake.

Luke: Well considering that I went on a date with you, yes I am.

Edric: *looks at Luke* Wait, you consider this a date?

Luke: It may have had a bumpy start, but the end was still good. *looks at Edric with a smile* Don't you think?

Edric: *blushes* Y-Yea. *looks at the lake* S-So um when did you start liking guys?

Luke was contemplating whether he should tell him or not. With a heavy sigh, he decided to.

Luke: I always have a thing for idiots.

Edric: Huh?

Luke: I guess you can say they make life a little more interesting. Though it can be life threatening, and a headache.

Edric: I-I see but when did--

Luke: He was my first friend. Someone I consider special to me, however he didn't feel the same way.

Edric: So what did you do?

Luke: What I always do, bury those feelings deep down. It hurt for awhile, but I guess

Luke was watching both Luz and Y/N reenacting a scene from Azura. While they were doing this, Luke noticed the big blushes on their faces. He had a look of hurt, but slowly started to smile for the two.

Luke: *smiles* As long as the person he cares about makes him happy, then I'm happy.

Edric: *amazed* W-Wow.

Luke: Besides, *looks at Edric* I did get a brother I never knew I wanted.

Edric looked at Luke in stunned silence. He couldn't believe Luke told him about his first crush. This not only made Edric blush but it made him think about it.

Edric: Wait..... Did you have a crush on Y/N!?

Luke: *squeezes between his eyes* You just noticed that?

Edric: *rubs the back of his head* S-Sorry.

Luke: You're lucky you're cute otherwise I would have punched you.

Edric: Hey! Rude!..... Wait *blushes bright red* You think I'm cute?

Luke: *looks at Edric* You don't like that?

Edric: No! No! No! I-I do! *smiles* Thanks Luke.

Luke: *smirks* No problem.

The two rested their hands on top of one another. Edric had a big blush on his face while Luke had a small blush on his face. The two stared at each other for a bit looking at each other's eyes. Luke used his other hand and placed it on Edric's cheek, while the blight gently rubbed his hand. The two slowly leaned in and shared a kiss. For Edric it felt magical, to be able to share this moment with Luke, his first friend, and first official crush, made him extremely happy. The two separated and looked at one another.

Luke: So, did you enjoy this date?

Edric: *rest his head on his shoulder* The best I ever had.

Luke chuckled as the two enjoyed the nice sound of the lake. This was a memory the two could never forget.

Back at the owl house

Luke was currently in her room in her nightwear, struggling to fall asleep. Ever since she confessed her feelings to her best friend/crush, the memory wouldn't stop replaying in her mind. She buried her red face in her pillow and tried to force the memory out of her mind. Suddenly a knock at the door made her raise her head. She walked over and opened it. The young human looked around seeing no one there. She heard a little squeak and looked down and saw the two echo mice, with a note. Confused, she picked the two mice up and opened the note.

"These are echo mice that ate the diary and the journal. They have the power to replay what they have eaten. I trust that you have a way to get them to show us more about the journal and diary."

Love Y/N Dragneel.

Seeing his name made Luz blush bright red, but at the same time smile happily that he trusts her. She looked over to the boys room and mouthed "Thank you". She walked back in her room and decided to build a little home for the two echo mice. Meanwhile Y/N was in his and Luke's room in his sleep wear, burying his face in the pillow. Flare stared at him and barked happily.

Wendy and Ryuga

Wendy: (I've officially started my journey with Mr. Ryuga. With his help I can get strong enough to stand by my friends and fight alongside them...... However....)

The scene shows Wendy and Ryuga walking through a forest.

Wendy: (We haven't done anything training related! All we've been doing is walking around. I don't even know where we are.) *looks up at Ryuga* (I wonder what kind of training Mr. Ryuga did to get strong?)

Flashback

Ryuga: DRAGON EMPEROR: SUPREME FLIGHT!!

The sound of L-Dragos roar and Chelia screams echoed.

End of Flashback

Wendy: *scared look on her face* (Maybe something very grueling)

Wendy looked up and saw Ryuga had stopped walking.

Wendy: *look around him* What's wrong Ryu--

Wendy's eyes widened at what she saw. In front of the two dragon slayers was a giant beast. It had the body of a bear and arms of a tiger. It had 4 eyes and each of them were red with a black slick. The giant bear creature looked at the two and growled with a drool falling from its mouth.

Wendy: *screams* AHHHHHHHH!! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!!??

Wendy quickly ran up a tree and held the branches for dear life.

Wendy: *notices Ryuga still down* Mr. Ryuga!!

Ryuga slowly started approaching the giant creature with no fear or hesitation. The beast watched his prey and started to growl louder. The beast was going to attack but slowly started to notice something.... That the pret he was looking at wasn't a prey... As Ryuga slowly approached the beast a deadly aura started to surround him. This made the beast start to sweat heavily as Ryuga continued to approach it. Soon the beast instinct kicked in, and it ran away.

Wendy: A-Amazing...

As soon as the beast was gone, Ryuga turned his head to Wendy and glared at her. This made Wendy jump a bit. The way he was looking at her was in disappointment. He slowly started to walk away as Wendy fell on the ground.

Wendy: Ow... *chases after him* Wait up Ryuga!

The scene changes to a desert part of the isles. Both Wendy and Ryuga were walking through it, however Wendy was struggling compared to Ryuga. She was walking a lot slower and panting heavily.

Wendy: *pants* I need... *pants* To keep.... *pants* Going... *pants* I can't.... Be.... Left.....

Slowly the girl's eyes started to close and she fell down unconscious. It was quiet for a bit until a drop of water was heard. Slowly Wendy started to open her eyes. She sat up and looked around and saw she was in a cave. The young dragon girl looked down and saw a bowl of water. Smiling happily, she grabbed it and started to drink it.

Wendy: Ahhhh. That was refreshing.

Wendy looked over and saw Ryuga, with his arms crossed, leaning on the wall.

Wendy: Ryuga.... Did you help me?

Ryuga didn't say anything. He simply got off the wall and started to walk off.

Wendy: Ah! *quickly chases after him* Wait up Ryuga!

The scene changes again to the two currently climbing up a mountain. Well Wendy was climbing, Ryuga was jumping from platform to platform.

Wendy: *struggles to climb* Geez. Where exactly are we going?

Once Wendy grabbed another rock, the rock broke causing the girl to fall. She let out a scream thinking that she was going to die. Before she could hit the ground, L-Drago grabbed her with his mouth and brought her up. L-Drago dropped the girl down beside Ryuga.

Wendy: *rubs her back* Ow ow ow. *looks up at Ryuga* Y-You saved me.

Ryuga didn't say anything, he simply turned away and started making his way down the otherside of the mountain. Wendy looked down and started thinking about all they have been doing.

Wendy: *counts on her fingers* Wild beast, Hot dessert, and climbing a death mountain.... I see.. All of this is normal training for Ryuga. *looks down sadly* Meanwhile I couldn't handle any of that.

With a sad look, the young dragon slayer slowly started to climb down the mountain.

Nightime in a part of the forest
