Roaring filled his ears as five dragonets and five humans stood in the middle of a vast courtyard with three SandWings standing separate from each other. Their dark eyes on the dragonets and humans. The three SandWings growling at each other.
Scores of dragons sat on the walls. SandWings, IceWings, SeaWings, MudWings, SkyWings, DriftWings, a few TempestWings, and even RainWings disguised as other dragons.
He waited for the next thing to happen but nothing did.
Then the sky turned startling bright as a mysterious object in the sky traveled overhead.
He looked up to see four moons instead of three. It looked exactly like the Brightest Night; only two of the true moons were full.
Then the earthquaked beneath his feet and he feel through the earth, screaming as his stomach flipped.
He landed on the rough cave floor of a large cavern.
His eyes slowly adjusted to the pitch black.
He roved his eyes around the cave. It had no exit or entrance. The way he came from closed up.
   He was trapped down here.
Something stirred as the earthquaked again.
Then two silvery-ice blue eyes pierced his. He froze in fear of the vast size of the eyes. They looked like the ones described to be Shruikan's, Galbatorix's forcefully bonded dragon.
He took a step back from the gigantic beast.
He tripped on a lose rock and hit his head on the ground.
His vision went fuzzy as he tried to regain his mobility.
Then a giant talon smashed him into the ground. He could feel his bones cracking and his body becoming smashed into the ground.
   That's when he woke up.

Daxel sat up in bed screaming. Sweat rolled down his face. He actually though the dragon had smashed him. It felt so real. Too real.
This was a curse, even if Kumaglak and Kaya said it was a gift. He would have to report this to the twins anyway. He just wished he could have better control over it instead of it controlling him.
Kaya, who was the most gifted and skilled of her and her brother, told him that it would take time before he got better control of it.
He sometimes just wished he didn't have this ability. He sometimes just wished to be normal. But he could never be normal.
He looked at Moon. Her dark purple and mixed in dark greens in her midnight black scales rose and fell steadily. Her dark grey scales on along her spine shone like silver in the moonlight that flooded in through the window.
He climbed out of bed and curled up under her wing.
She didn't seem to be having nightmares tonight, unlike him.
He knew tomorrow he would hear about it from Hanta definitely; he always had something to complain about.
His winglet members knew he and Moonwatcher could see the future and read minds at will; it was something he couldn't just turn off he told them often.
Most of the dragonets in his winglet often has ill thought about the NightWings. He wished Moon didn't have to hear them. Winter was suspicious of and hated all NightWings, something about his brother. Carnelian hated them straight up. Qibli's mind never stopped thinking about what NightWings could to do and to never trust them. Umber, Turtle, and Kinkajou seemed chill with whatever.
If only they could have stayed in the Niloan jungle where it was peaceful. Then he and Moon wouldn't have to deal with Winter's and Carnelian's thoughts.
He was reluctant to go back to sleep.
Instead he got up and started drawing the scene of the Brightest Night and all the assembled dragons there.
He looked at the moons.
The dragonets were going to end this war and soon.

P.S. Hope you all are enjoying. This chapter isn't the greatest. Kind of just threw it together. But stay safe, guys.
