CEDRIC POV

It was the first day of college, I did pass last year even tho I went missing. The principal understood my situation and promoted me or maybe because I was a bright student. I requested he makes a few changes to my schedule. I know I had to work extra hard if I am finally going to join that political business mess. I had to go back to Australia, to my parents. Shawn seemed really confused when I told him I wanted to get back to business. I explained to him and he understood but still, he was not really happy with the idea of me 'sacrificing' my happiness.

I got my schedule today. I share 3 classes with Shawn and 4 with Nancy. I was not an as physically weak student as it may seem. I learned martial arts and many other forms of self-defense while homeschooling back in Australia. I had to contact my parents too, but I doubt that they didn't know about my whereabouts. They were just giving me time.

It might look like I was overdoing it. It was not even enough, trust me. Christopher wasn't even the most powerful person in the game. Everything revolves around the arc group, they are the mafia, the people of the underworld. My parents were head of Arc Medical's Australia branch. If I accepted my parent's business, Christopher would not be able to harm me. But If he became the ceo again, He could give me a hard time but I doubt that.

But I didn't want to reach anywhere near that level. I didn't want bloodshed. I just had to gain enough power that Christopher wouldn't harm me and my people. Then I had to find Adrian. Maybe then I could live my life without being afraid all the time. I attempted to change and have a normal life. I gave up on that, I'll gain power.

I just wanted to be at a place where they couldn't harm me.

I walked through the corridor, put my stuff in my locker, and took the books for the first lesson. As I shut my own locker, I heard a loud bang from another locker. Eren had pushed a small boy to one of the lockers.

Great, I absolutely didn't want to run into him on the first day of College. I wanted to ignore him because I was clearly not in the mood to deal with him now.

"Oh look who has finally decided to show up." Eren mocked as I was about to walk away. I rolled my eyes. I was going to get detention on the first day for beating someone. "What happened Cedric? Were you lost while protecting all the Adam and Steves? You are a Freak!" He continued and his sidekick laughed as he just said the funniest shit ever.

Honestly every time Eren opened his mouth he always managed to tick me off with his homophobic remarks. I was too done with his bullshit,

So, I just grabbed his collar pushing him towards a locker, I spoke calmly, "Listen Eren, I am so tired of your crap. I'm not in the mood to deal with your stupid tantrums. Say that once more and I swear I'll punch your ugly ass face." He flinched at my statement but at the same time amused. 

I continued "And why does it concern you so much whom do I like? Either it's a girl or a guy what are you so worried about? Are you hiding something Eren?" I smirked and stepped back. Provoking people had always been a talent of mine.

Eren went all red at my comment. "What are you saying F-Freak!" He spewed avoiding eye contact. Gross..... that's what was left for me to deal with now? A homophobic homosexual bully. As if my life already had a lack of problems. His sidekick just stood there with a 'the-fuck-is-happening' face. I got out of there.

I walked to my first class, which was mathematics. Ya, I might be weird, but I loved math. I sat beside Nancy. She had saved the seat for me.

"Hey, why are you so annoyed in the morning? Something happened?" Nancy asked.

"Ya Eren and his stooges" I sighed.

"I am positive Eren is obsessed with you. He wishes to die-" Nancy said, giving a scary look. She looked so much like Shawn when she was angry. It scared me.

"Whatever, Let's not talk about worthless people." I attempted to change the topic. Thankfully, the teacher entered the class before Nance did something irrational. These twins were very similar yet different, but they were not to be messed with when angry.

"So class, today is our first day. We will start with basic calculus-..."

It was interval time. I was seated in the cafeteria with my friends. I missed them all so much. They kept on questioning me for the last 30 minutes. I get that they were worried. However, I was getting annoyed. Especially when I couldn't answer everything honestly. I had to make up half of the things. We were seated at a rectangular table in the middle of the cafeteria. Some students also call it the 'popular student's table' I mean, what were we, high schoolers? Well, they weren't wrong after all. Shawn was the most popular student because of being the leader of the college football team. While Nancy was in a music band. I was somehow one of the smart kids who had won many quiz competitions. There were Ethan, Maya, Nate, and Olivia. Adrian used to sit with us as well, he was not popular. But he was my friend.

Shawn was not at the table yet. They are working hard for this competition. If they secured the trophy, they would become National players. I looked around the cafeteria. Suddenly my eyes locked with Shawn's. He was walking in with 2 other players, talking to them. For a second he just stared at me, then he smiled. Damn....every single time I was caught off guard. I quickly broke eye contact and looked down in embarrassment. Why was I embarrassed? Get it together Ced, you got a psychopath to deal with. It was just your best friend. I looked back up, he bid those boys goodbye and approached the table.

Shay sat right beside me "What's up guys, what's going on?" "Hey Shay" I replied.

"We were just talking to Cedric, but he's not telling us anything," Maya said.

"Don't pressurize my boy y'all. He won't talk if he is not feeling like it" Shawn defended and put his arm over my shoulder, "Don't listen to them Tieso."

"That's what I am saying, Shay. They just don't listen to me, I am not a kid any more guys." I crossed my arms pouting while they all cracked up. I had a lot of fun after a long time.

I was in my classroom after the interval. Shay asked me to hang out after college to which I agreed. I fairly missed spending time with him, since he was so busy. I and Nancy often hung out together. The teacher was late for the class. I was thinking of finding Ad when I got called into the office.

Why were they calling me? Did Eren inform something to the principal? Maybe not.

All my thoughts vanished as soon as I entered the office, and a frown crept on my forehead. I was confused. I looked at the two figures standing in front of me in disbelief.

I finally spoke,

"What are you doing here?.......DAD"
