You woke up to your phone ringing. 

"Hello?" 

"Y/N! Where are you?!" 

"Xiao?" 

"Where tf are you?" 

"I'm..."You looked around "IN BEDO'S DORM???!!!!?!" 

"WHAT?" You quickly hung up. 

"Bedo?!" 

"Yeah?" Albedo came around the corner. 

"Why am I here?" 

"You fell asleep." 

"Right..." You fell silent as the events from yesterday came flooding back. "Ugh. I'm so hungry." 

"I prepared breakfast." You just nodded. Walking slowly to the kitchen, you quickly ate. 

"Oh that's much better. Thanks Bedo!" 

"Your quick mood changes were always curious to me." 

"I just get grumpy when I'm hungry...." 

"And when you eat you're so energetic." 

"Because I'm not grumpy anymore." 

"huh." 

"Enough of that. Bedo, since it's Saturday, do you want to go see Klee? Qiqi and Klee can play together." 

"Sure." 

"Kay then. Meet me at the parking lot in a hour!" You quickly rushed to get ready. When you opened the door to your dorm, you were faced with a scowling Xiao. 

"You spent the night in his room?"

"Leave me alone Xiao!" 

"Why were you in your ex's dorm?" 

"I'm going somewhere after this! Just let me get ready!" You pushed passed him and went to take a shower. When you finished getting ready, you were faced with a problem. 

Xiao was standing in front of your door. 

"Seriously?" 

"Where are you going?" 

"You're holding me hostage in my dorm?" 

"Tell me where you're going." 

"Why are you so overprotective? I can take care of myself Xiao." You tried to push past him, but he wouldn't budge. "Move!" 

"No." 

"Do you want me to climb out the window?" 

"Just tell me where you're going!" 

"Archons you're annoying! Just move!" You punched him lightly. 

"Just tell me!" 

"I'm going to go visit Qiqi!" A half truth. 

"Then why wouldn't you tell me?" He did move aside though. You rushed past him and ran away. 

"Lock up my dorm!" You called while running. You made it to the parking lot where Bedo was waiting. 

"Y/N what took you so long?" 

"Angry scary overprotective brother chasing me. Let's go." You quickly entered his car and sat down, panting. 

"Why is Xiao chasing you?" He asked while he drove out of the parking lot. 

"Because I wouldn't tell him where I was going. He was like guarding the door so I couldn't get out." 

"Why?" 

"I may or may not have told him I was at your dorm this morning when he called me." You giggled sheepishly. 

"Seriously?" 

"Yes."

"How'd you escape?"

"Told him I was going to visit Qiqi." 

"And?" 

"He moved aside slightly so I ran away." 

"Wow." 

"Where should we take them? A playground?"

"Klee loved trying to find fish in rivers." 

"Right. Qiqi should be fine with that. Where's the closest stream?" 

"It should be near the park next to the school." 

"Okay." You hopped out of the car. 

"Y/N." Qiqi ran towards you. 

"Hello Qiqi! How was your day today? Me and Bedo were thinking of taking you and Klee to a river!" 

"Okay." 

"Big sis Y/N! Oh wait. You said not to call you that. What should I call you?" 

"You can just call me Y/N." 

"Klee, me and Y/N are taking you and Qiqi to a river to see the fish." 

"Really? Yay!" You and Bedo helped the kids in the car and got in yourselves. When you arrived at the park, Klee ran out. Qiqi quickly followed after her. 

"Klee! Qiqi! Slow down! Come on Bedo!" You ran after them. When you saw the stream, you came to a stop. Klee and Qiqi had already rolled their pant legs up and were playing in the stream. The sight of them smiling and laughing melted your heart.

"It's quite a nice place isn't it?"

"Yeah. They're so cute!" 

"That they are." The two of you fell quiet as you watched them play. 

"Y/N! Big bro! Play with us!" You looked at Bedo. 

"Should we?" He shrugged. 

"It might be a bad idea if you don't have any clothes to change into."

"Right. If you're fine with it, we can all go over to your house. Qiqi's clothes are probably soaked through by now."

"Sure." 

"Kay. Let's let them play a while longer then head to your house. Sorry Klee. I don't have a change of clothes." You sat back down and tried to relax. Eventually, you have up. The constant vibrations of your phone was annoying you way too much. You checked, and there were 20 missed calls. 

"What's wrong Y/N?"

"Give me a moment Bedo." You stepped away and started a call in the group chat. Less than a minute later, everyone had joined. 

"Y/N! WTF?" (Xiao) 

"What happened? Xiao isn't usually this worked up." (Lumi) 

"*sigh* kay so like.... ummm... I'm... with Bedo right now." (You) 

"WHAT??!!?" (Hu, Kuki, Venti, Lumi, Heizou, Aether, Tomo)

"As expected."(Kazuha) 

"Yeah..."(You) 

"Y/N wtf?!"(Kuki)

"It's my choice. Like I told Xiao when he was trying to keep me hostage in my room."(You)

"Ok, now that's extreme Xiao." (Venti) 

"Exactly. Kay bye guys!" (You) 

You quickly ended the call. 

"Archons that was stressful." 

"What happened?" 

"My friends are chaotic." 

"Right." 

"Yeah... Like I know they get worried but it's stressful sometimes." 

"We should probably get going now." 

"Right. Did you bring towels?" 

"Yeah. I had a feeling we were going to end up here." 

"Nice." The two of you got the kids bundled up and in the car. 

"So to my house?" (Albedo)

"Yeah. Is Alice home?" (You)

"No. She went on a business trip. The neighbors take care of Klee." (Albedo)

"Oh." (you)

"Y/N? Qiqi's clothes are wet." (Qiqi)

"Oh yeah. Bedo? can Qiqi borrow Klee's clothes?" (You)

"Of course. You're fine with that right Klee?" (Albedo)

"Mhm!" (Klee)

"Great! Thanks Klee!" (You)

"I wanted to do something nice for you and Qiqi!" (Klee) 

"Thank you Klee." (Qiqi)

"I love seeing them get along to well!" (You) 

"We can hear you you know!" (Klee) 

"We're here." (Albedo) Being used to the layout of the house, you immediately took Qiqi to take a shower and change. After, you headed to the living room with Qiqi. 

When you walked in, Qiqi went to play with Klee. You looked around and saw that something had changed. Above the couch hung the painting that you had given Klee. You walked up to the couch; gaze never leaving the painting. 

"Klee wanted to hang it there." Bedo said. He had walked up next to you. 

"I-"

"You painted yourself out." 

"I...yeah." 

"Why'd you give it to Klee instead of destroying it like you did to the others?" 

"How'd you know?" 

"You're very predictable." 

"Klee was in it." 

"And you still care for her." 

"I care for you too Bedo. I just didn't at that moment." 

"I know."

"I kind of regret it now." 

"What?" 

"Painting myself out." 

"I've been working on this chemical. It lets you remove the newest layer of paint and leaves the old one. Do you want to try it?" 

"What? When did you-" 

"When I first saw the painting." 

"Sure. Let's try it." 

"Let me go get it." He left the room then returned with a vial and a tissue. 

"Can I?" 

"Of course." You gently took it and rubbed the canvas. Little by little, the old painting emerged. 

"That's it. That's what the original painting was." 

"It's beautiful." You looked at the painting. Nostalgia washed over you. 

"Wow! Y/N is in the painting now too? When did this happen? Is that magic?" (Klee)

"No. It's just your brother being a super genius." (You) 

"Wow! How'd you do it?"(Klee) 

"Magicians never reveal their secrets." (Albedo) 

"But Y/N just said it wasn't magic!" (Klee) 

"Alchemists never reveal their secrets then." (Albedo) 

"Awww." (Klee) 

"Run along you two. Klee don't you have that thing in your room that you wanted to show Qiqi?" (Albedo)

"Right! Come on Qiqi!" (Klee) 

"Klee slow down." (Qiqi) You looked at them and smiled. 

"Thank you Bedo." 

"Thank you too Y/N."
