She stared at me dumbly with her mouth hung open. Oooh...flies will go there anytime soon.

Closing her mouth with my index finger, I get myself in without her invitation.

"You-you just hung up...and now y-you're here?! What are you? A fast and furious driver or something?" She exclaimed and I smirked at her.

"More like a Death Race driver" I joked with a wink as I plop myself on their couch.

She gave me an incrediously look. "Look at you. You're acting as if it's your house" she commented.

"That's what friends are for. No need for casualties" I said as she just gape at me.

"What? Are we just gonna play the gape-at-me game or you're gonna change and let's shop?" I asked her and she snapped out of it.

"I said I'm not going" she said defiantly which I rolled my eyes at.

"Would you prefer to stay in your boring world or will you come out of your shell and be the beauty that I know?"

She scratched her wrists "I don't know... I'm not really cut out for these things and I don't even have money" she shyly confessed and I smiled gently at her.

"That's why you have me Jane. I am someone who'll always be at your side. I asked you to do this and I will take care of everything" I assured her.

"But, I don't want you to think that I'm taking you for granted" she said truthfully.

"I know you don't. You're not anyone else, you're different. And that's what makes you special" I told her in truth from my heart.

She smiled at me before nodding her head and going up to the stairs to change in her room, but she paused at the stairs.

"Alexandrielle, why did you befriended me?" She asked and I smiled at her.

"Because I saw someone worth befriending not basing on her looks. Someone who is amazing in her own way" I confessed to her. Is it just me or do I sound like a guy who likes a girl?

She smiled her dazzling smile as she disappears in her room.

It took her ten minutes to get ready. Perks of being nerd, you don't have to care about picking fancy clothes to wear.

Through the drive, I teased her about finding her prince charming at the ball (which is the unknown ocassion). She would just laugh and say "I'm not Cinderella" but I would just retort something like how she just fell on the ground a while ago. I laughed every time she blushed in embarrassment and cover her face with her hands.

Four hours and 46 minutes later...

Stop counting the time for god's sake!

Jane and I are currently at a restaurant called Chowking, eating. She has pork siopao, a medium size halo-halo and a fried rice. While me? I have the large sized pork fried rice with a chicken thigh and a pizza accompanied by pineapple juice.

I eat much, I admit. But hey, I'm a dominant. Our bodies have to have enough protein and food to keep us what we are.

"What's next?" Jane asked me as she shoved a spoonful fried rice in her mouth.

I may eat a lot but Jane eats like a pig. Don't tell her I told you that.

"Take the pig in front of me to the slaughter house" I joked and she lightly choked on her food.

I laughed as she glared at me while snatching my pineapple juice and halfly emptied it.

"Hey!" I protested as she smiled innocently at me.

"Quits" she said as she raised her halo-halo in the air. She knows how much my passion is on pineapple juice. Aargh that nerd!
