Authors Note

Before this starts, I want to say that plot line is not going to be entirely accurate to the actual Dream SMP. Example being some of the future events and obviously Techno already being a main character. Please keep that in mind while reading. 

~Y/N POV~

"Hello Y/N. Miss me?"

No. She very much did not miss him. Not only was he the reason that Y/N had left his SMP, but her asshole of an older brother was the one person she'd been the most eager to avoid. Moving hundreds of blocks away from his SMP was deliberate, and for the past few years she'd been successful in keeping him far away.

I'm realising while proof-reading this that Y/N could technically be Drista, however Drista is a minor (14). For the sake of the fanfic Y/N is NOT Drista, just a third sibling in the family.

"Dream how did you find me."

"You didn't exactly make it difficult, Y/N. Now why don't you come with me back to the SMP, okay?"

Y/N was shaking her head before the blond boy had even gotten the opportunity to finish his sentence. "There's no way in hell that I'm going back to your stupid SMP."

Dream rolled his eyes, losing his patience with his sibling. "I have a favour to ask of you. And I want you to join me. Not to mention I know you have a surplus of netherite and I want it."

"I'm hearing a lot of wanting, Clay. You've done nothing for me, why should I do anything for you?"

"I'm your brother, we're family. Isn't that enough?" He genuinely sounded like he believed what he was saying.

"Not after what you did. Now leave me alone."

"If you don't join me then you're my enemy Y/N. I don't think you'd want your own brother as an enemy, would you?"

That was all it took for Y/N to snap, raising her weapon against her sibling. "You have done nothing for me! You left me to die at the one time I needed you! At this point I don't even need to know what this favour is to know that I wouldn't do it in a million years. Whoever your enemy is, they are my friend. I hate you Clay, that hasn't changed."

The masked boy was definitely surprised by his sisters outburst, and let out a sigh before turning to the darker haired boy next to him.

"You have until night tomorrow to change your mind. If you do, I'll be expecting enough netherite for my entire team. As a precautionary measure-" He'd been avoiding Y/N's eyes until then, but at that moment he shifted his mask off his face and looked directly at her. "Sapnap will be staying here to make sure you aren't causing any trouble. Understood?"

"Who the fuck do you think you are?! You can't just show up at my house and put me on some sort of twisted house arrest! You're screwed up in the head Clay, what happened to you?!"

The blond simply laughed and replaced his smile mask over his face. "Goodbye, Y/N. I'll be seeing you again soon."

Without another word he turned and left, leaving the darker haired boy standing at the door. Sapnap picked his head up, watching Dream leave before silently entering Y/N's house.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

Sapnap spoke the words from Y/N's bedroom door, causing her to jump and curse. She'd been trying to sneak out of her window after locking her valuables away in an enderchest, but clearly Sapnap wasn't letting her get away with it.

"Well I was going to try and get some fresh air, but you wouldn't let me go out front so this is my only option."

The boy rolled his eyes, not believing her lies. "Get down from there and go to bed. It's the middle of the night."

Y/N let out a sigh, finally accepting that she was a prisoner in her own home and wouldn't be getting out any time soon. Defeated, she sat down on her bed and tried to fall asleep.

Y/N was woken up to the sound of arguing at her front door, and quickly rushed down to see what the issue was. It was a shock to see a familiar, pink haired man standing on the outside of her doorway.

"Techno?" She spoke the words from the stairs, causing both of the bickering boys to turn in her direction.

Sapnap looked at Y/N in shock. "You know him?!"

Y/N raised an eyebrow and walked closer to the door, giving Technoblade a friendly smile as she did. The smile quickly left her face, though, as she turned in the direction of the darker haired boy.

"I met him the other day. How do you two know each other?"

Techno scoffed, his face expressionless. "Y/N, me and your- friend? We don't exactly get along."

Y/N felt her eyes go wide as she looked between the two boys. "So why are you here then?"

"Wanted to make sure that you'd be safe and out of the path of combat. Clearly you aren't." The pink haired man glanced at Sapnap before returning his gaze to Y/N.

"I should have been, but Clay- Dream. Dream found me."

Techno gave her a look that was slightly suspicious and mostly concern. "Why did you call him Clay?"

Y/N sighed and rolled her eyes. "He's my brother."

Techno's expression hardly faltered, but Y/N could see the sudden distrust in his eyes.

"Don't freak out on me, he's a total asshole. He's got Pandas here keeping me on some sort of house arrest."

Sapnap had been listening to the conversation from the side, but he'd had enough. Grabbing Y/N by the shoulder, he tugged her back away from the door.

"Time for you to leave, Technoblade."

~Techno POV~

Bad... He's going to hurt her... Don't trust... Bad... Bad...

The volume in Techno's mind was growing with every second that Sapnap had his hands on Y/N. He wasn't happy about it, although he wasn't entirely sure why.

"Get your hands off her, alright?" Techno gestured to Sapnap's hand as he spoke, his monotone voice adding a threatening tone to the statement.

Sapnap obliged, removing his hand from Y/N's shoulder. "You need to leave. I won't tell you again."

Hurt him... Blood... Blood for the blood god... Protect her...

The voices got louder and louder as Techno tightened his grip on his axe. "Get out of her house and leave her alone and I might just consider letting you survive. Scram."

Usually a threat like that would work, but Sapnap could see the bluff. He grabbed his own weapon, holding it up in front of him.

"If you want me out, then you'll have to make me get out. Dream gave me a job and I plan on doing it."

Blood... Do it... Fight him... Hurt him...

Techno let out a sound oddly similar to a growl before raising his axe. "If you want a fight, you can have a fight."

~Y/N POV~

Sapnap grinned, but it wasn't happy. It was vicious and cruel.

Y/N was about to jump in and stop them when Techno looked her dead in the eyes, stopping her in her tracks

"Do you trust me?"

She didn't have the strength to break eye contact, taking a deep breath and nodding.

Techno gave her a smile, the first genuine one she'd gotten from him. He raised his axe in front of him, and it looked like he was waiting for an attack. It was a bluff though, as after a few seconds Techno ran at Y/N, grabbing her in his arms and sprinting towards Toast.

He threw her up into the saddle, giving Sapnap a mocking wave before mounting the horse in front of Y/N and riding off.

It's a little cringe at the end but all good fanfics have to have some cringe factor I guess. Keep in mind these are characters who are played by real people. Sapnap IRL is not like this, this is simply for the sake of the story.
