Jay patted his Mech and wiped some of the dust off the windows of his Mech, and adjusted it so it could charge.

Kai fist-bumped his mech, before leaving it.

Cole let his Mech put him down on the floor, before the Mech wheeled back to it's charging port.

Nya somersaulted off of hers, and her Mech climbed back on the ceiling, next to it's charging port.

Zane climbed out of his Mech, and for some reason, bowed to it.

Lloyd climbed down slowly from his mech, whispering some words to it, and the Mech tromped over to it's position.

Nya clicked a button on the wall, and all the Elemental Mechs AI's said in unison, sending an echo through the warehouse.

Powering Off. Prepare For Charging.

Cole's Mech went limp.

Kai's Mech stayed standing, but it's arms dropped.

Jay's Mech's lights shut off, and it's crest was retracted.

Zane's Mech's guns turned downward.

Nya's Mech got fastened to the ceiling by automated cuffs that come out from the ceiling.

Lloyd's Mech's eyes stopped glowing.

Nya double-checked the Mechs for any major damage, before leaving them to charge.

The Ninja started to head walk to the sitting area of the Warehouse.

Jay and Cole talked animatedly, talking about what cool moves they'd pulled off.

Nya and Kai had gotten themselves into yet another insignificant argument, thanks to sibling rivalry.

Cole groaned.

"Ugh, I wanna get my gi off and change. It's starting to get small after getting washed practically every day."

Jay responded,

"Yeah, maybe we could scrape some money together to get new Gi's?"

Cole thought for a moment.

"Sensei Wu somehow always gets us new gi's even without money, so I don't think we need to get money.

"True."

Cole waved to Lloyd, who was trudging over to them.

"Hey, Lloyd."

Lloyd responded glumly.

"Hey."

Cole sighed and ruffled his blonde locks.

"That's your dad. You were open, man."

Zane added,

"It was highly poignant!"

Jay tapped his foot nervously.

"For me, it's easy to fight him because he's uh......like....not my father... But for you, that must be so complicated."

Lloyd sighed and ran his hand down the front of his face.

"Not... that complicated."

Nya smiled sadly.

"You also really pulled at my heartstrings, man. I felt... for you."

Lloyd was confused.

"Uhh- with the- with the missiles?"

"Nah, with the other- the other stuff."

Lloyd still didn't understand what she was getting at.

"The other stuff. Wh- I don't-"

Nya sighed.

"The dad- the dad stuff."

Lloyd's mouth opened in an "O".

"Yeah, but like.....exactly what are you referring to...?"

Zane explained,

"Watching you and your father."

Jay added,

"Daddy issues."

Cole glared, not so subtly at Jay, before lowering the volume on his headphones (A/N: Idk where he got them from, think what you think).

"The vulnerability."

Jay pulled at his hair while groaning,

"You got so emotional!"

Lloyd's face was set in stone, and he replied flatly,

"Emotion- emotions were the last thing that was going on out there."

Nya coughed.

"Uh, yeah."

Cole cocked an eyebrow.

"Mhm."

Sometimes the Ninja forgot how young Lloyd was when he had to face so much trauma, all on his own, yet the boy still persevered.

Nya patted Lloyd's back.

"It's okay, Lloyd. Nobody's parents are perfect."

Jay smiled awkwardly.

"I mean, well, my mom is weird and collects seashells. Your dad levels cities and attacks innocent people. So. Uhm. They've all got their quirks, you know?"

Tranquil music started drifting into the warehouse.

Cole looked around in confusion.

"Uh- wh- where's that tranquil music coming from??"

Nya gasped in surprise.

"Hey look, everyone! Master Wu is back!!!"

They start to run out towards the terrestrial entrance/exit of the warehouse as they watch The Destiny's Bounty dock, but are surprised when Master Wu appears suddenly behind them.

Wu walks toward them while using his bamboo staff for balance, though quite unnecessary, Wu mostly uses it to hit people in the face.

"Hello, students."

The Ninja cheer in unison,

"Master Wu!"

Zane's jaw dropped.

"Shock."

Cole grinned as he leaned on Zane.

"How was your trip?"

Wu closed his eyes and sighed, leaning on his bamboo staff.

"It was a deep spiritual journey that took me to depths inside myself I never knew existed."

Cole smirked and gestured to Wu.

"Yeah, you have a pretty serious tan line."

Wu harumphed.

"Don't judge me!"

Nya grinned and karate-kicked the air.

"So, did you see us kick Garmadon's butt???!!!"

Zane smiled while letting Cole lean on him.

"We vanquished him."

Kai shot finger guns.

"Ba-ba-bam!!!"

Lloyd just stood to the side, making a sheepish face.

Wu stared back at them, unimpressed.

"I saw your fight. And I saw Garmadon retreat. But you did not defeat him."

The Ninja, excluding Lloyd, shouted in unison.

"What?!"

Wu remained stone-faced.

"There's nothing ninja about you ninjas."

Jay scratched his head while his eyebrows wrinkled.

"We're so ninja, I don't know what you're talking about."

Wu sighed.

"You will never truly defeat Garmadon... until you see things from a different point of view. You have the power to win the battle without fighting. When you start using your mind, you won't need mechs and machines. Your call signs are not just cool names. They are the elemental powers you were all born with."

The Ninja are confused.

"Nya. You can create water on your own!"

Wu draws water into his hand out of thin air.

Nya gasps, eyes sparkling.

"And Kai. Fire!"

Wu summoned fire into his hand.

Kai grinned.

"Wow!"

"Jay! Lightning!"

Electricity accidentally zaps Jay as Wu draws it from within himself.

Jay stares at Wu's hand, wide-eyed, while rubbing his head.

"So ninja."

"Cole. Earth."

Wu causes the ground to shake as he slams his weathered hand down, causing Cole to fall on his butt.

Cole looks dumbfounded.

"Cool."

"And Zane. Ice."

Wu blasts ice from his fingertip and accidentally freezes Jay's foot, who yelps in the process.

Zane's jaw dropped yet again.

"Ice is nice!"

"Can someone unfreeze my foot??!?!"

His request goes ignored.

Wu leaned on his staff and stared into each of the Ninja's eyes.

"These elemental powers are why I chose you to form the Secret Ninja Force. It is the highest level that you can achieve as a Ninja. I wrote a book about it!"

Master Wu suddenly whipped out a white book from behind him.

"It's called: Ninjanuity! Copyright Master Wu."

The Ninja oohed.

"Please unfreeze my foot."

Lloyd tapped his shoulder.

"And, uh, and- and what about me? What uh- what am I?"

Wu smiled.

"Lloyd, yours is the most important Element of all."

Lloyd was giddy with anticipation.

"Okay! Hit me with it."

Wu said, eyes closed,

"Your elemental power is... Green."

Lloyd was confused.

"What's that?"

"Green."

Lloyd did a double take.

"Okay. So, uh, just to recap. Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Lightning... and?"

Wu repeated, eyes closed.

"Green."

Lloyd scratched his head.

"Don't think it's an Element though."

Wu sighed, putting his hand on his nephew's shoulder.

"Lloyd."

"Can I be Gold?"

"No."

"Wind isn't taken. Can I be Wind?"

(A/N: PLS DON"T SAY THAT LLOYD ;-;)

Lloyd groaned internally.

"Okay, so. Earth, Green and Fire. Rolls right off the tongue."

Wu held a firmer grip on Lloyd's shoulder.

"Lloyd."

Lloyd thought for a moment.

"Could I be the element of... Surprise?"

Wu sighed.

"No. That's the Fuchsia Ninja."

Fuchsia Ninja popped up suddenly from behind Wu, who stood unfazed, while the other Ninja did a double take.

"Surpriiiise!"

(A/N: Check out "Fuchsia Ninja!" On Wattpad, it's really good, should be the first result on the search engine)

Lloyd wanted to slap Wu, but that would be disrespecting his master (likely Jay wanted to slap Wu for freezing his foot, too).

"There are so many Elements left......this feels kind of purposeful that I don't have one."

Wu thumped his staff on the floor, causing all the Ninja to jump in surprise.

"Enough, Lloyd! Come with me for mentor talk. The rest of you, practice Spinjitzu."

Jay protested.

"Unfreeze my foot! I can't practice Spinjitzu!"

Kai scoffed.

"That's easy. Watch this."

The Ninja all start spinning around, but all accidentally trip over their legs and fall over.

Zane said calmly,

"Exertion."

Wu narrowed his eyes and added,

"For three hours."

Jay squeaked,

"Three hours?!?!"

The other Ninja all groaned.

"WHAT???!?"

Jay growled, tugging at his ginger curls.

"Are you kidding me with this guy??!?!"

"And read my book!"

Jay threw his hands down, gesturing to his foot in frustration.

"OH MAN, I CAN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING! UNFREEZE MY FOOT ALREADY!"

Nya groaned and ran her hand down the side of her face.

"Ugh."
