Construction workers stood on a work site in Blue Bay, shutting off their equipment.

"Well, that's it." A guy said, throwing his shovel down as he walked towards his boss, "The lines down here are fine. Couldn't find a problem."

"Well, that's weird." The foreman said as they started to walk away, "Let's knock out for today?" He ordered, calling out to the rest of the crew, "We'll fill them back in tomorrow." He gestured to the holes they made.

"Sure."

Just as the construction workers had left, a small quake rocked the area and a trench broke open. Smoke and a beam of purple light exploded from inside the opening as two hands appeared from withing. Pulling himself up, evil Space Ninja Lothor looked around and laughed maniacally.

"You know," Drina commented as she watch Zoey and Jenna sparing, "if it wasn't for the Stripes on Jenna's arm, you wouldn't be able to tell who was the Master when watching the two of you."

"Oh, you don't have to tell me." Jenna laughed, "Zoey's always been better than me. She can't help it. She holds back a lot. She should've gotten her Stripes before me, but her powers keep her so outta wack, she didn't feel ready. The only time she doesn't hold back when sparring is when she goes against Tommy and Jason."

"You wouldn't have gotten yours either if you were in my shoes." Zoey scowled as she took a drink of water, "I'll get them, someday. I'm not in a hurry. I need to focus on getting myself better. 100% better with no shortcuts. That's why I do the extra training and meditating. Can't get better without the work." She smirked, "And I have to hold back. Stupid Spark makes me dangerous on normal days. Now that I have all these new powers, it's worse. I really love going all out on monsters, though. Makes me feel normal."

"Normal?" Drina chuckled, "There's nothing normal about any of you Rangers. It doesn't matter who it is." She pattered the girl on the shoulder, "As for your Stripes, you'll get there. When you're ready. It's best not to try and rush it, though."

"Agreed." She looked up as a shiver went up her spine, "Anyone else feel that?"

"I did." Jenna nodded, "And I didn't like it."

A Friday afternoon found Kira and Trent sitting at the Cyber café, studying, and Conner was at soccer practice. While Ethan was across the room on his computer, as usual, Raina and Andy were working behind the counter.

As the two Rangers continued studying, two new customers walked in and over to the counter. "Hey there." The one in the hat nodded to someone and tapped on the bar. Kira looked up and thought the hat guy looked oddly familiar.

"Trent," she spoke to the boy beside her. "Does that guy at the bar look familiar to you?" She couldn't get a good look at his face, either.

"You mean the one in the blue hat?" Trent looked up, spotting the same guy. "Not really, why?"

"I'm sure I've seen him before," Kira frowned.

"Well, go ask," Trent shrugged.

"I'm not just gonna go up to some guy I don't know," Kira argued. She fidgeted in frustration, as she was sure she knew him.

"Okay, can we get back to studying?" Trent suggested. Kira tried to focus on the books, but she kept staring at the guy, "It's driving you crazy, isn't it?" She nodded, apologetically, her eyes still face the counter, "Go ask."

This time, she stood up and walked over to the guy as Trent snapped his work book closed in irritation.

"Hey. Do we know each other?"

"I don't think so," He replied, turning to her. "I'm Blake," he said, shaking her hand. "This is Jessie." He pointed to his friend.

"How's it goin'?" Jessie greeted.

The girl smiled before turning her full attention to Blake.

"Blake, you just look so familiar to me."

"Do you follow motocross?" Blake asked, removing his navy baseball cap and tossed it onto the counter.

"No," the girl replied. "Why is that what you do?"

"Hi. Can I..." Blake turned his attention to a boy who had just approached them, holding a notepad and pen, wanting an autograph. With a smile, Blake grabbed the blue baseball cap he had been wearing, signed it and passed it to the guy.

"Here," he said. The boy looked at him in awe, before returning to his friends.

"Okay." Kira laughed. "So, you're famous for riding a motorcycle?"

Blake and Jessie exchanged looks. "Don't be so surprised." Blake chuckled, placing his hand on the girl's arm and stepping around her. He pointed the Foosball table out to Jessie, who grinned and followed him, standing opposite him as she followed.

"Oh, no," the girl stuttered. "it's just, I didn't know you could be famous for that."

"Well, why don't you come see for yourself?" Blake suggested. "The nationals are this week at Reefside MX park, bring some friends, I'll get you passes."

"Are you asking me out?" She asked, missing the look on Trent's face.

Raina, who had just returned to the bar, paused and turned in Blake's direction, and snickered. She got Andy's attention and pointed to the Foosball table and told him to hang on as he walked over to her.

"No, it's nothing like that," Blake said, "Look, part of being a rider is spreading the word of our sport. You know, getting people to come out who never would and all. I promise you, you'll totally be into it."

"Okay," the girl replied with a small nod.

"Here you go," Jessie said, handing some passes.

"Thanks."

"Cool," Blake nodded, smiling lightly as he watched the girl walk away.

"Well, well, Mr. Bradley." Raina sauntered over, "Look at the big shot. Giving autographs and promoting his pro status."

"I heard you had moved with the others here." He laughed as he gave her a hug, "Where is everyone?"

"Oh, uh..." she pointed as Andy came up behind her.

"Blake." They high-fived and gave each other a bro hug, "How's the fame?"

"Going strong, man." He pointed to his friend, "That's Jessie."

"What's up."

"Hey."

"Where's Fire and Ice at?"

"Doing some school work. Or, catching up on some. You hear for the finals?"

"Yeah. You guys coming?"

"We wouldn't miss it, man."

"Great. I'll make sure your names are on the list."

Raina nodded as she caught sight of someone needing help, "Awesome. We gotta get back to work, but we'll see you at the track. Good luck."

"Thanks."

"Oh," she turned back with a smirk, "and you owe me as I'm not going to tell a certain blonde about you flirting with Kira over there." His eyes widened.

"Not cool!" He yelled as she went back to work.

Andy just clapped him on the shoulder, "She was bad before. She's worse now. I've tried, man. I really need her to stop hanging out with Zoey and Jenna." He started to back away, "Her goal in life is to be just like our Fiery friend."

"That is creepily scary dude."

"Try living with all three of them."

Blake shuddered in fear, "That is brutal, man."

"Tell me about it."

After they finished their shift, Raina and Andy headed out to the track and met up with the Angels waiting by the security entrance.

"There you are." Zoey waved, "Blake's first round is about to start. We made the other three go on ahead of us so we could wait for you."

"Sorry." Andy snickered as they walk up, "We had to wait for our replacements."

Raina nodded, "They took their sweet freaking time."

"I'm Cassidy Cornell, you may have seen me on the Reefside News," They looked over to see Cassidy and Devin trying to get in, and grinned.

"Well, your name is not on the list," the security guard told her. "And if your name is not on the list, you pay like everybody else," he said as Cassidy's smile dropped.

"Zoey Oliver, Jenna Scott, Raina DeSantos and Andy Park." Zoey nodded at the security guard as he waved them through.

"Go on through. Blake's race is about to start."

"How come they get in? They don't have passes!" the reporter complained as the group walked past her and Devin.

"Their names are on the VIP list with Blake Bradley." He told her as the reporter huffed in annoyance at not getting in.

"Fine. Come on, Devin." They walked away to get tickets.

Raina looked back with a scowl, "Anyone ever notice the similarities between her and Mara? I only ask because I can't help but want to punch her. All the time."

Andy chuckled as he nudged Jenna, "Told you."

Zoey shook her head, "I noticed it on day one." She smirked at the girl, "Never felt the need to punch her, though. Maybe you need a trip to the Wind Academy."

"Ooh!" Raina jumped in excitement, "Please, please, please?!"

They shared a laughed as they got the railing to watch the race. "Alright folks!" The announcement blared overhead, "We are ready to start the first 125 moto!"

"Where did the others go?" Zoey asked, looking around for their primaries.

Jenna shrugged as she waved down at Blake, who had spotted them from his starting position and waved first, "No clue. They're here somewhere." He pulled his helmet on and lowered his goggles as the announcer came back on.

"The 30 second board is up!"

The riders revved their engines as the gates went down. The announcer was commentating the whole thing as fans cheered. Just as they expected, Blake was pulling ahead of his competition, giving them no chance to catch up. A couple riders went off course, crashing into things and falling off their bikes. It wasn't long before Blake crossed the finish line first and was met with an uproar of applause.

"It's gonna take a minute for him to get away from the interviews and groupies." Andy stretched, "Who wants a hot dog?"

"Sure." Raina punched his arm, "You're buying."

"Ah, man."

After they ate and got something to drink, they walked around the track, trying to find Blake and their other friends. When a beeping echoed, Zoey frowned as a bad feeling made its way into her stomach when she realized that it wasn't coming from her Dino Gem.

"What the..." She pulled out a round medallion on a chain with her Fire Ninja symbol on it out of her bag, "These are supposed to be for emergencies, right?"

The other three nodded, "Okay. Let's go check it out."

After being told where to meet, they landed beside Cam, and straightened up.

"Cam." They hugged their friend and former teammate.

"Hey guys. I hope you weren't too busy."

"We were at Blake's race." Raina sighed, "What's going on?" Before he could respond, Hunter stopped beside them in a flash of crimson.

"Hunter, it's good to see you," Cam greeted the Thunder Ninja with a small hug.

"Don't forget me." Jenna walked over and hugged her boyfriend, "We really don't get to see each other enough."

"I know." He sighed, "We'll have to figure that out."

"Can you do that without the nauseating PDA?" Zoey feigned a gag.

"Bite me, Flame Thrower."

"He thinks that's an insult." She smirked, "I take it as a compliment."

Andy rolled his eyes, "Of course you do."

"Sorry to call you away from your students," Cam told Hunter with a chuckle as the group started walking down the street.

"I thought it must be important," Hunter shrugged. "I'd hoped we'd never have to use these things," he held up the device in his hand. "So, you think it's Lothor?"

"It has to be. Who else leaves purple slime in his wake?" Cam glanced to him.

"What about the others?" Zoey asked, frowning.

"They're not responding," Cam shook his head.

"That's not good."

"Blake's in a race at the moment, so I'm not surprised he's not answering," Jenna folded her arms. "But the others? Something's wrong."

Two more streaks landed beside them, "Hey cuz!"

"Tia!" Raina rushed over and greeted her cousin, "What are you doing here?"

"You guys gave me one of the alert charms at the end of Ranger Week," She held up a similar medallion, "remember?"

"I forgot, actually." She shrugged as she looked at her companion, "And you are?"

"Oh, I'm sorry." A black girl, who wore her blonde braids piled on top of her head, had on a Fire Ninja suite, "I'm Bella. I'm a Fire Ninja. I fought with Tia in the last battle at the Abyss. Hey!" She laughed as she hugged her old classmate, "Zoey the Fire Queen. How you been?"

"Good. What about you, Miss Sensei?"

"Great. I was with Tia at the Academy, we had just finished teaching a class, when her signal went off. She told me what it was and I offered to join her. Is that okay?"

"Yeah." Her morpher beeped. "Whatever the issue, can you handle it without us?" Speaking into the communicator.

"We have a problem." Tommy said, sounding stressed. "And it's not Mesogog."

"Must be Ninja related."

"You got it. We've been tracing an evil energy surge over the past twenty-four hours." Hayley explained, "We think the Abyss of Evil has been opened up."

"Yeah." Zoey nodded as she exchanged grim looks with the other Ninjas, "We figured that out already. Can you get a trace on Shane, Tori and Dustin?"

"Already have eyes on them." Tommy sighed, "We think they're under a mind control. Connor, Ethan and Kira are about to head out there."

She groaned, "Alright, guys, be careful." She warned. "You've gone up against an evil Ranger before. Do not underestimate them. Tommy, if you could keep us updated, we're trying investigate things on the Ninja end of this mess."

"You've got it."

She dropped her wrist and turned to others and shrugged, "What the hell?"

"So, it's worse than we thought." Hunter nodded, "Great." He turned to the two non-Rangers, "Maybe you two should leave this to us."

"Leave it to a group of Ninja Rangers with no powers?" Bella smirked, "Let me know how that works out for you."

Andy snickered, "She got you there, bro." They all looked around when they started hearing explosions. "That's or queue."

"I'm almost afraid to look." Zoey moaned as they rushed towards the noise.

Reaching a bridge, they looked down at the street to see the Dino Thunder Rangers fighting the Ninja Storm Rangers.

"Deja vu." Jenna huffed, "I am so over evil Rangers." She looked up at her boyfriend, "I'd say no offense, but I didn't have to deal with you."

"I did." Zoe frowned as the Dino Rangers were easily outmatched by their predecessors, "And I'm getting bad flashbacks."

Blake suddenly appeared beside them. "Blake! Am I glad to see you." Hunter greeted his brother, relieved.

"I got here as fast as I could," Blake nodded at him. "What's up?" he asked curiously.

"We got trouble. Big trouble," Cam gestured down to the fight, and Blake jolted when he saw it.

"Enough is enough." Zoey stepped back and nodded at Jenna and Andy, "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Dino Thunder, Power Up! Ha!" They morphed and jumped over the railings, landing between the two Ranger groups.

"Oh, thank you!" Conner laughed, "We're getting worked."

"Aren't you glad we showed up then?" Andy smirked, as they turned to their brainwashed friends, "Psycho Ninjas on the loose." He sent out a web of lightning and destroyed the Kelzacks to his left. "Shocking."

Jenna chuckled, "Oh, whatever will we do?" She waved her hands froze the ones on their right, "Oops. My bad."

"I like it." Zoey nodded as she raised her own hands, "My turn." She flicked her wrist and, twisted the light around them, blinded the Ninja Rangers. "Time to fall back Conner. Get back to the lab. We'll meet up with you later."

Zoey, Andy and Jenna created a smoke screen to help cover the Dino's escape. When the smoke cleared, the evil Ninjas Rangers were the only ones left on the street.

Landing back on the bridge, the three Dinos demorphed and looked back down in frustration. "I didn't like that." Andy sighed, "Left a bad taste in my mouth."

Jenna shook her head, "Didn't have a choice."

"Nice finally getting to see you guys morph." Blake chuckled, "Hunter told me what happened, but I haven't been back to the lab to see some of the footage."

"My first time seeing anyone morph." Bella chuckled, "It was awesome."

Raina shrugged, "Shame it wasn't under better circumstances."

"We need to figure out how to snap them out of this." Jenna scowled, "I mean, do we even know how Lothor got out? How he got to our friends?"

"No idea." Cam shook his head, "I don't even know where my dad is."

"Great." Zoey looked at the Samurai speculatively, "A light bulb just went of in that genius brain of yours. Are you going to share?"

"I've got a plan." He hesitated, "But you're not going to like it."

1-2-3-4-5

"Are you nuts?!" Blake's yell echoed through the damaged street where the battle between the Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm Rangers had just taken place.

"I take back everything I ever said about you being smart," Hunter told Cam, equally as horrified by the Samurai's plan.

"Have a look at what they've done!" Cam exclaimed, gesturing around the damaged street. "We have to get to the Abyss, it's our only chance," he told the Ninjas.

"You were there, right?" Andy continued, "You know what's inside that thing?"

"All of the monsters you guys defeated last year." Tia pointed out, "Is it safe? Who knows what else is lurking in the depths of that thing."

"We know what else is in there." Cam sighed, "Our powers. And we have to get them back if we're to have any chance of helping the Dino Rangers deal with Tori, Shane and Dustin," he said, and the others all sighed, knowing that he was right.

Raina looked at the two non-Rangers, "Ready to get your hands dirty?"

Bella chuckled, "Oh, I'm all over it."

"No way! No!" Blake exclaimed. "There's no possible way I'm going near that thing again!" he yelled at them. The others all looked at him and raised their eyebrows.

"Alright, Thunder Boy." Zoey smirked, as the others backed away from her, "I'll make you a deal. You take me on. Right here. Right now. No powers. You win, you get to be a little chicken and hide, knowing full well that we'll never let you live it down. I win," she stepped closer to him, "you have to run our training course. All of them. And Jenna and I will be throwing our powers at you to dodge."

He hesitated as he looked at his fellow Ninjas and sighed, "Damn it."

To be continued...

Thanks for reading!

Catch you on the flipside.

P.S.

Any suggestions for the Wormhole chapter? This was a side note on the wiki fandom page...

Although Anubis 'Doggie' Cruger erases the memories of himself and the other Rangers, Tommy and Sam aren't present and remain with their memories intact. And then the Dino Thunder teenagers saw the S.P.D. team anyway, all the students of Reefside High still remember the Terror Spacecraft and Zeltrax would also have his memories intact.

Should I correct this in my chapter? Let me know! :)

Bella is played by Meryl Cassie
Tia is played by Christina Vidal
