Pomni forgot that her dream with Ragatha even occurred. It had been about a week since the whole ordeal, and that entire time Pomni stayed in her room like her first few days at the Circus. She needed to come up with a plan that would get her to the Void. She obsessed over this plan, refusing to sleep. The only thing she did was pace around her room and brainstorm all sorts of different ideas.

That all changed one day when one minute Pomni was pacing around her room and the next she was standing right next to the Digital Lake.

Her eyes frantically darted around to find the other characters gathered around. They were all spread apart, in an estimate of twenty feet each. Pomni first saw Jax, standing with one of his hands placed by his side, as if to make a bold statement.

It makes him look so gay. Pomni thought to herself.

Then there was Zooble, with their eyes narrowed by annoyance and arms crossed like usually. There was an empty space in between them and-

Ragatha.

Everything about the dream came flooding back into Pomni's memory. She tried not to remember it, but she did. Her mind seemed to especially focus on what she saw in-

She refused to think about it anymore. Because she was thinking about Ragatha, the annoying bitch who just so happened to be kinda hot.

Ragatha noticed Pomni staring instantly. She tried to pretend it wasn't happening, but Pomni's eyes burned into her. She considered walking away from Pomni's gaze, until she realized she was stuck in place.

Looking back at Pomni she hoped this Mission wouldn't last long, so that she wouldn't have a chance to run into or interact with Pomni. Knowing her Ragatha knew she would make everything about the Mission even more miserable than it already was.

Her focus snapped back to Caine, who was levitating above the static waters of the Lake. "Hello, all of you." Caine greeted the four characters. "As you may see, Gangle is not with you today. Instead, she is in the No-View Room." Caine made his tongue droop down and his eyes pop out of their usual place all cartoon-like for dramatic effect. "Your goal for this Mission is to manage to get all the way here to the No-View Room, which by now all of you should know where it is by how much you frequent it." Caine said this like it was supposed to be a joke.

It wasn't a joke, not to Ragatha. She just wanted to get back to Gangle and comfort her, since she was absolutely terrified when Caine teleported her away.

"The reward for getting to her first will be an entire day by yourself in the No-View Room..." Caine paused, "Alongside with your team-mate."

Ragatha's heart plummeted to the ground. Please, please, please don't let it be Pomni. She prayed to some higher power she wasn't even that sure she believed in. I'm fine with Zooble, fuck, even Jax, but please, anyone but Pomni.

"That's right!" Caine continued with extra enthusiasm. "You will be split into two teams. Two players for each! And if you don't like your team, then that's too bad, because eventually you're going to have to learn how to socialize with people you don't like." After this Caine cleared his throat and a piece of paper appeared in his hands, alongside a pair of elegant reading glasses for his eyes. "NOW, LET'S SEE WHAT THE TEAMS ARE!" Bubble shouted in anticipation.

Bubble's been quiet recently. Ragatha observed. I've forgotten she's even existed. This thought was soon replaced by the sound of Caine clearing his throat for a second time.

"That's right, Bubble, it's time to read off the teams." Caine then read off of the paper, "Team One is Zooble and Jax. Team Two is Ragatha and Pomni."

Great. Just great. Thought Ragatha. She looked back over at Pomni, and realized she was now standing right next to her. She glanced back at the spot where she once stood, and there was Team One.

"Good luck!" Was the last thing Caine said before he disappeared. Bubble stayed for a few seconds longer to shout, "AND MAKE SURE TO NOT BE TEMPTED!" Before disappearing as well.

Ragatha looked over once more to see that Jax and Zooble were already booking it towards the hill. She let out a massive sigh.

"Why so disappointed?" Pomni asked in a voice of mockery, tightening the strings of her oversized, black hoodie. The hoodie was so big it was thrice Pomni's size. "Are you upset that your Kingsy-"

"Why do you think about me and Kinger that way?" Ragatha snapped, she grabbed Pomni's wrist in the process and was so enraged that she pinned her against the ground. "Because what you're thinking couldn't be further from the truth. Kinger was like a father-figure to me here. He had a wife here, and he still loved her so much that he wouldn't dare do-" Ragatha stopped herself, all her thoughts were becoming furiously jumbled together.

"HE WAS MY FRIEND! HE MADE ME HAPPY! HE MADE ME FORGET I LIVED IN THIS NIGHTMARE! AND THEN YOU HAD TO COME ALONG AND MAKE HIM ABSTRACT! DON'T THINK I SAW THE WAY YOU TREATED HIM THE NIGHT HE ABSTRACTED! YOU'RE SO HORRENDOUS YOU MADE KINGER ABSTRACT!"These words all came out so quickly that Ragatha had no control over them.

And what did Pomni do? She started laughing. "Do you really think that was just me, Dollface?" Pomni snorted, "No, Kinger was like a dog with cancer, and I was the vet that put him down. I did it out of pity."

Ragatha lost more control over herself and her emotions when Pomni said this. She lost so much control she grabbed Pomni by the collar of her hoodie. "THAT JUST MAKES ME HATE YOU EVEN MORE, YOU-"

Pomni shoved her hand over Ragatha's mouth. "What? You're mad that your friend isn't in pain anymore?" She questioned.

Out of rage Ragatha bit into Pomni's mouth, which she knew wouldn't hurt her that much, since her teeth were made of soft wood. Still, it would possibly cause Pomni to pull her hand away.

The opposite ended up happening, Pomni ended up taking the opportunity to manage her hand's way right into Ragatha's mouth.

Ragatha bit down way harder this time, allowing her teeth to sink into the fabric of Pomni's glove.

"You're really bad at biting, you know?" Pomni taunted her. A sly smirk covered her face as she watched Ragatha bite down even further. "You would think if you hated me that much you would put in a little bit more effort." She stated, starting to get comfortable.

With that comment Ragatha bit down with all she had, practically engulfing Pomni's entire hand.

Pomni slightly fidgeted, yet kept her composure. "To your credit, that did hurt a little." Pomni said. "But do you see the way that tree bends over?" She used her leg to motion somewhere behind Ragatha.

Ragatha turned around instantly, releasing Pomni's hand from her bite.

Pomni took the chance to run off.

She had to get to the Void.
