Tayah P.O.V

I knocked on Anthony's dorm room since it was locked. He came to the door with nothing but some sweatpants on.

"Wassup Ma? Come in." he said.

I took off my jean jacket and followed him to the kitchen.

"You look nice today." he said causing me to smile.

"Thanks. What you doing?" I asked.

"Tryna find something to eat. Ah nigga hungry as hell." he said looking through the fridge.

"Let's go out." I suggested.

I decided if I'm gone choose between him and Michael I should atleast give August a real chance.

"Where you thinking?" he asked looking up.

"J. Michael's?" I asked.

"Aight, leggo." he said."Ain't it on Main Street, I've seen the sign a couple times and debated on stopping.

"Woah, you've never been?" I asked.

"Nope. I told you back home we stick to just regular food,  like chicken and crawfish." he said.

"Well let's go then. Cause you gotta taste this food." I said

"I'll be the judge of that." he said smirked.

"I ont feel like walking." I pouted.

"I'll carry you then." He said swooping me off my feet. "Climb on my back."

I climbed on his back and he carried me across the campus and to the parking lot. I didn't know his skinny ass was so strong.

"Finally. Yo heavy ass." he said pretending to wipe away sweat and laughing.

"Nigga hush. " I said getting inside his Mustang.

"Damn Tay, what's that on ya neck?" he asked backing outta the parking lot.

I looked in the car mirror and immediately tried to cover it up without him figuring out it was a hickey.

"Oh. I'm not sure." I said.

"Let me see." he said leaning my neck over. He looked for a second then frowned. "Where that come from.?"

Anthony P.O.V

"Where that come from?" I asked.

I ain't gone lie it did kinda hurt knowing Tay was fucking around even though we not together. It hurt to the point I was kinda even mad. I know it didn't come from me cause we ain't did shit in bout 2 weeks, we be chilling so much sex don't even cross my mind.

She sighed before responding.

"About a week ago me and Michael got into something." she said as I got to a stop light.

I couldn't even deal at this point mayne. I have feelings for Tay but she obviously just kicking my ass to the curb.

"You not gonna say nothing back?" she asked. Her eyes were filled with sadness with a hint of guilt.

"Nah." I said keeping my eyes on the road and gripping the steering wheel.

I felt her occasionally glances from time to time but I just kept driving. When we got to J. Michael's I got out and began walking. I felt her pull me back , I ain't gone lie she kinda strong.

"Anthony, I'm sorry that this agreement went a lil more than friends with benefits. I really like you and... everything just all fucked up." she sighed.

"Tayah I like you too. I really do. We ain't had sex in two weeks but we supposedly friends with benefits. Our relationship ain't just lust, baby it's feelings in there. Don't fool yaself." I said.

"I'm not. I do have feelings for you Anthony it's just, I love Michael." she said.

"But he's had more time than me. That's not truly fair is it?" I asked

"No." she said.

"Exactly. And that shit pissed me off. Ones day your mad at him the next minute y'all fucking.  I understand you love him Tay but just give me a warning." I said.

"So what you tryna say?" she asked with confusion written all over her face.

"I'm saying I like you Tay. I really do. But I know that you love Michael. So go with him. Choose him. But as soon as that nigga fall off just know I'm here.  I'll always be here. Your my best friend. And I hope y'all being together don't stop that , cause you a cool ass female." I said.

She was quiet then outta nowhere tears started rolling as she smiled. I pulled her into a tight hug and gave her a peck on the lips then the cheek. Her warm body on mines was the thing I was gonna miss the most. Seeing her everyday, chilling, smoking,  playing, studying together, chasing her ass across campus, the wet kisses and fucking. Them things would be missed.

She pulled away and wiped her face.

"Anthony Thanks so much. For being there." she said.

"Don't even mention it ma. I care about your feelings and I know if I was with you, it wouldn't change how much you love ole dude." I said.

She smiled and hugged me tightly again before making our way into J. Michael's.

We got a seat in no time considering it was about a hour before lunch time.

"I just love this placeeee." Tay squealed.

"It can't be that good." I said.

"Hello?"  I said answering the phone.

"Is this August Alsina ." I heard a female voice come over the phone.

"May I ask who this is?" I asked.

"I'm Jennifer Whittaker, I'm the Vice President of Def Jam Records. We've overheard some of your YouTube videos and your covers. On behalf of Def Jam I'd like to Fly you out to Atlanta for a meeting. " she said.

I started breathing heavy and a big smile came across my face.

"Just give me a date and time mam. I'll be there!" I said.

"Well we need you out here next Saturday. I'll call you later to give you more details. " she said.

"Thanks so much."  I said cheesing.

"No thank you!" she said hanging up.

"Who was that?" Tay asked biting down on her Burger.

"Def Jam's Vice President. They want me.  Me. " I said. I still couldn't believe it myself.

"Omg, Congratulations Anthony." she said.

"Man I'm excited. I'm..... speechless." I said shaking my head.

I called my moms first of course, then secondly my sista in law Cha.

Tayah P.O.V

After lunch with Anthony I went to Michael's dorm, to let him know my choice.

I knocked on the dorm door and he answered looking tired af.

"Oh, Hey Tay." he said opening the door so I could come in.

"Michael's why you look so sleepy? No sleep or  something?" I asked.

"Man coach had us up running and doing drills all night since we play BSU, you know that's our biggest rival." he said sitting down on a stool at his kitchen island.

"Oh no wonder. Get ya rest then, I'll see you later." I said.

"No it's fine. What you come over here for?" he asked getting a pot out the bottom cabinet. "I figured you be stuck under ya lil boyfriend."

"Well that's were I'm at now. Stuck under my ugly boyfriend." I smirked.

He looked back and smiled at me.

"I see you made the right choice." he said walking over to me. "If I wasn't so tired I'd tear that ass up one good time." he said squeezing my ass and pecking my lips.

"Nigga please." I said removing myself. "We gotta talk about something tho."

"Okay?" he said putting some 4 hotdogs in the pot and filling it with water.

"Me and Anthony are always gonna be friends. Us being in a relationship won't change that." I said.

"Aight. I trust you enough to know you won't do no sneaky shit. But at the same time I don't trust him so you gotta stay on ya A-Game cause temptation a bitch." he said.

"That's all I ask for." I said smiling.

"So now that we back together can you come lay with me." he asked poking out his bottom lip.

I smiled and nodded.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his bedroom. We both got into bed together for the first time in 10 months. He wrapped him arms around my waist as I layed my head in my chest.

"I missed you Tay. On life I did. It was crazy not having you there on my journey of getting record deals and shit, cause honestly without you I would've been quit rapping. I'm gone make sure I put my all into this" he said against my forehead.

"I missed you too Mikey." I said.

A minute later his light snores started putting me to sleep.

"So y'all back together?" Honey asked cheesing.

"Yea." I smiled.

"But what about Anthony, that's my nigga." she said.

"Me an him decided we'd be better off friends." I said. "I just talked to him this morning"

"We'll that's good that y'all can be friends still. I'm glad you and Ty miserable asses back together. His ole skint head was always here , me and Chris couldn't even fuck when we wanted to." she said causing me to laugh.

"Leave my baby alone." I said laughing.

"Girl let me tell you bout this big ass hoe in McDonald's yesterday. I was in line and her big oversized ass decides to squeeze in front of me. But I let it go since I'm tryna get right with the lord, but this hoe kept pushing it. She ordered all these different type of sandwiches,  shit I ain't even know McDonald's sold. I still was being patient. But the final straw was when she pushed me back and didn't even say sorry. You know I'm little ass hell so I flew back cause of her ole Samoa wrestler looking ass. I really wanted to fight her big ass but Jaz told me to sit down. Talking bout it just made me mad all over again." she said.

I died laughing at this fool. Whenever I needed a laugh Honey was the best person to come too.

"Honey she was just hungry. " I said.

"She looked like she wanted to eat my ass." she said laughing and taking a hit of her blunt.

"Anyway why you come over here, you never here nigga." she said causing me to laugh.

I took a deep breath.

"What if I told you I could be pregnant?" I asked.
