Ren nuzzled her husband's neck, her arm lazily draped over his well formed torso, muscles shifting beneath the palm of her hand as he breathed.

"Mmm," Kai groaned as he shifted closer to her, his arm stretching out to pull her in.

Ren grinned as her hand trailed up his chest, her fingers reaching out to touch his soft lips, "Good morning Kai," she murmured in a teasing tone.

She watched his open, landing on her silver ones, a hint of amusement dancing in his emerald irises.

"Good morning," he murmured, placing soft kisses over her jaw and down her neck.

Ren slipped her fingers through his dark hair, combing his dark locks, relishing the quietness within their quarters.

But even that spell was broken, making her husband groan, "I was hoping a single day of relaxation."

Ren chuckled softly, kissing his lips, "You should go. It could be something important."

Begrudgingly, Kai left the bed throwing away the silky covers and leaving the room to answer the door.

I suppose it's safe to assume that you two won't be mating anytime soon, a soft voice said inside her head, sending heat over Ren's cheeks. She had nearly forgotten that the Emerald Goddess used her as a host.

No need to be ashamed, the goddess chuckled, I've had my fair share of them.

Ren's eyes widened, "I'm not sure how I should feel about that."

Laughter echoed in her head, Embarrassed could be one, but enough of that. It's time to begin your training.

"Training?" she questioned, confusion clouding her mind.

Yes, I need you to hone your skills with magic and fighting.

"Fighting?" she cried, her voice suddenly high. She had never been involved in a fight, save for the one when she saved Kai's life, "But I don't know how to fight."

Which is why you will ask Morgan to teach you magic. Atlantis will teach you how to wield a sword.

Ren clutched the sheets over her chest, the sudden thought of holding a weapon making her stomach uneasy.

A soft noise bought her out of her reverie, Kai's large form lingering in the door frame, a soft hint of pink touching his cheeks.

"What is it Kai?"

He neared her and pressed his lips against her own before pulling away, "I have to go, the council needs me there."

Ren sighed softly and reached out to stroke his cheek, "Go, I'll occupy myself with something else."

Kai smiled and kissed the palm of her hand, "I love you," he murmured before leaving.

"And I love you," she spoke to the empty space.

Ace groaned as she sat up, the sudden lightness in her body bringing her out from her drowsiness.

Fluorescent light emanated from the walls, illuminating the room she occupied. Moss made up her bed, a silky see through sheet covering her chest and her fins.

Fins? she thought, Right. Voodoo made you a mermaid.

She yawned and laid back onto her bed, turning to her side.

Just as she was about to close her eyes, she noticed a body shift underneath the sheets, nearly making her heart freeze.

Quietly, Ace pulled away the sheet.

She noticed two things, both made her scream.

Destan quickly sat up, the sudden shrill noise bringing him out of his peaceful slumber, "What the gods is going on?" he mumbled.

"Oh my god, don't tell me we slept together!"

The Diamond King rubbed his eyes as he looked at the woman beside him. Her dark hair floated about, bringing out the blue scales that adorned the sides of her head. Patches covered her arms, sides and blended into her blue tail. It wasn't till she looked at her frightened gaze that she realized who she was.

With an appearance similar to Ren's, he could barely form the words, "Aceso?"

"Did we have sex?" she spoke, a sudden tremor in her voice.

Destan's brows furrowed, "Yes. You consented to the act. However you shouldn't be worried about that, look at your skin. "

He watched her check the sudden appearance of scales across her upper torso before she fainted.

Quickly, he grabbed her body before it floated to towards the ceiling.

Destan, a voice echoed through the room, sending unfamiliar shivers down his spine. He glanced at Ace, her blue scales growing brightly.

"Who said that?" he spoke out loud.

I am the Diamond Goddess.

"Morgan!" Ren cried into the cave, unsure if it was safe to enter.

Giggles bounced the cave walls before the slender merman appeared. Morgan's dark hair was in disarray, love bites marking his neck and making a path down his bare chest.

"Ren!" he cried happily, running his hand through his messy hair, "What brings you to my humble abode?"

Ren blushed, nervously twiddling her thumbs, "The goddess spoke to me," she paused, "She recommended that you teach me magic."

Morgan stilled for a moment before his lips spread into a wide smile, "Of course! If you want we could start this afternoon!"

Ren grinned, "Alright! That gives me time to prepare. Oh, and Morgan?"

The witch arched a brow in question, "Yes?"

Ren pointed at his neck and chest, "You have marks there."

He glanced down his eyes widening in realization, "Atlaaaantiiis," he whined before darting back into the cave, his lover's laughter, echoing through the walls.

Ren giggled to herself before making her way back to the palace.

Elric watched his king settle himself on the black throne. His expression was blank, dark eyes staring menacingly at the golden table.

"Your Majesty," Elric spoke as he made his way towards the black throne.

"What is it Elric?" he muttered, his fingers absentmindedly touching the shell necklace around his neck.

It's time again, he thought, his fingers touching the vial around his own neck.

"Would you like a drink? Something to ease your mind?" he spoke to the brooding man.

"That would help. The usual one that you give me," he murmured as he stood, making his way towards the glass windows, his black tail prominent against his pale skin.

Elric went towards the small bar, large pouches full with alcoholic sea beverages filling the shelves.
He grabbed the golden cup and mixed the contents of the drinks into it, the heaviness of the liquid keeping it from floating away. He mixed a drop from his vial into the cup.

"Elric?" the King's deep voice said behind him. Elric turned, watching a distant look take over his features.

"Yes, your Majesty?"

"Have they found your brother?"

Elric stiffened, whirlwind of thoughts invading his mind, "No your Majesty. I've given up."

"That's a shame," the king spoke, turning to him. Elric handed him the drink.

With a single sip of the cup, the King's eyes turned dark, "Tell me, how is the Emerald Kingdom and the Diamond Kingdom?"

Elric tilted his head, "It's seems the old king is dead and the young king has formed an alliance with the Emerald King."

"Anything else?"

Elric fiddled with his fingers, "The Emerald King has taken a new queen. It was a love match so the ceremony's purpose was fulfilled. However rumors have been saying that the new queen was once a human."

Fury filled the King's black eyes, his fist colliding with the dark wall, "Those abominations have always done as they please. Breaking the law by interacting with humans, should it continue, they will face the fury of the Onyx King."

Dun dun dun! Hehe, the action is coming! ;)
