MaNan were on the door. The entire Malhotra Mansion was decorated like a bride all thanks to Manik's extended family who had taken the flight right after the phere. Nyonika and Raj entered the gate. All preparations were already done. Nyonika placed the kalash filled with rice on the entrance. She also placed Nandini's chunard on her head, does their Aarti and applies tilak. MaNan took her blessings. Nandini lifted her saree lightly showing her beautiful payal and kicked the kalash slowly with her right leg spilling the rice. She then dipped her legs in a thaal which had Alta in it. Manik holds her hand and she moves forward to the temple in their house leaving imprints of her foot. They take blessings from God and then all the elders.

Mukti - okay okay ab games timeee!!!!

Cabir - yes and Aisa mujhe aunty ne btaya (indicating nyonika) ke joh iss game mein jeetega ussiki chalegi zindagi bhar. So it's a very important game. You can say it's a do or die.

Everyone laughed and settled down while the arrangements were done. The game was - 'finding the ring'. A big thaal was placed in front of MaNan with water mixed with milk and rose petals. Nyonika hid the ring somewhere inside it. Both were trying to find it while people were cheering for them. Manik finally found it smiling and showed it to everyone. Cabir, Mukti, Erica Harshad, Nyonika and others were on his side while Alia, Raj, Laksh and others were on her side. His side was very happy. Manik saw Nandini who looked upset.

Laksh - koi nahi Bhabhiii next game hum hi jeetenge.

Next round.

They tried to search the ring and finally Nandini found it. The happiness was clearly visible not just on her face but her eyes too and this made Manik happy too though he faked sadness for others.

Laksh- yeahhhhhh!!!!

Nyonika- guys relax! Ek final round hai yeh joh jeeta woh proper winner hai.

Final Round

This time Manik held Nandini's hand inside the thaal shocking her. She tried to remove it from his hold without making it very obvious to everyone but failed while he smirked and she faked a smile to everyone. Manik finally slid the ring in her hand making her smile to the fullest. She removed and showed the ring to everyone making Laksh and Raj jump. She also was too happy. Her happiness knew no boundaries and she hugged Laksh and Raj. This did not go well with the older ladies like Manik's grandmothers and bhuas. But others really loved her gesture.

Nandini - (happily) dad main Jeet gayi...

This statement made Raj a bit emotional as hearing it made him feel like definitely his daughter, which he wanted for so long, was talking to him.

Raj - (happily) haa mere bacche (and he blessed her)

This time Manik couldn't fake sadness as seeing Nandini so happy made him smile automatically. He did not mind losing if this would be her reaction.

Nyonika - chalo ab lunch karlo sab.

And they all settled on the dinning table. Manik was about to take the first bite but stopped and forwarded it to Nandini, which made her happy.

Everyone - awwwwww

Nandini felt shy hearing it. So Raj came to rescue.

Raj - bhai main bhi apni beti ko khilaunga.

And he forwarded a bite to her, then laksh followed and finally Nyonika making her extremely happy.

It was indeed a warm welcome to the family.

Everyone had their lunch laughing and smiling.

Nyonika - yeh sab hasi mazak bohot ho gya. (To nandini) beta thoda rest karlo fir parlour waali aati hi hogi, reception ke liye tumhe ready karne.

Nandini bobbed her head in agreement as she was definitely tired. All this preparations then wedding rituals and then flight took a lot from her and now also she hardly had an hour to rest. She had decided after the reception she is going to just sleep for 2-3 days straight.

Nyonika - and haa filhal ke liye dono alag alag guest room mein jaana

Manik - kyu? (It came to sudden so he was a bit embarrassed as everyone was looking at him and laughing while nandini was blushing) woh I mean ab toh hum husband and wife hai naa issiliye... Just general knowledge....

Nyonika - reception ke baad! Bus keh diya so keh diya... Nandini jao beta.

MaNan retired to their rooms. Both of them changed in comfortable nightwear and dosed off.

They all left for the hall where reception would take place. They left a bit early as they were supposed to get ready there itself and had booked a few rooms for that. MaNan were getting dressed up. Nandini was the most excited as she would be seeing her family after a complete day. She wore an ivory netted saree with work on the borders and blouse. Her hair was tied in a messy bun. She wore heavy earrings, an elegant diamond set and of course like a new bride she completed her look with sindoor, mangalsutra and chuda. While manik wore an ivory tuxedo. He still had his mini talvar in his hand.

Manik was waiting for Nandini so that they could walk down together. Nandini came while he was spell bound to see her and the same was for her. They just lost themselves for a moment looking in each other's eyes. They were indeed a perfect pair. She finally came back to reality and pulled him back to.

Nandini - Manik chaliye naa.... Mujhe niche jaana hai (looking down searching someone)

Manik forwarded his hand to her which she accepted happily and they moved down. Nandini was walking too fast and her eyes were constantly searching for someone. Manik understood it and smiled at her restlessness to see her family. They finally went on the stage.

Manik - (whispering in Nandini's ears) Nandini they are not here yet! Aa jaayenge

Nandini's face lit up like a lamp when she finally spotted Ragini entering the hall. Manik followed her eyes and saw Ragini. Nandini couldn't control more and ran towards Ragini and hugged her tight while unknowingly tears made their way down both the sisters cheeks. Manik smiled looking at Nandini - the way her face lit up and the way she ran. He definitely adored the sisters bond. Laksh placed his hand on Manik's shoulder still looking at the sisters. NanRag's parents too entered and Nandini hugged them too. They then wiped her tears and took her to the stage. Manik took their blessings and hugged Ragini.

Manik - kya baat hai Chabu joh glow main iske face par pura din nahi laa saka tumne ek second mein laa diya....

Ragini - main special hoon Jiju... You toh know naa!

Laksh - haa ek dum premium edition bandariya joh ho tum...

Ragini - (making a disinterested face ignoring) by the way Jiju (whispering) how was the first night haa (teasing)

Nandini - Ragini what is wrong with you? (Embarrassed)

Laksh - (shocked) I swear to god!

Ragini- arre!! Issmein kya hogya apne jiju se hi toh puch rahi hoon... Main thodi har kissiki shaadi mein yeh puchti rehti hoon and by the way it's a ritual naa....

Nandini - kuch bhi bolti hai!!!

Manik - Chabu itni amazing thi ke pucho mat. Matlab kissko apni first night flight mein manane milti hai btao?

Ragini - oops matlab abhi picture baaki hai

Manik - jii

Nandini - yeh ladki bhi naa kabhi nahi sudhregi

All the guests one by one came and met the couple and blessed them

Manik - (fake smiling and whispering) Nandini yaar mera jaw dukh raha hai smile dete dete

Nandini - (same) mere toh jaw ke saath saath per bhi dukh raha hai heels ki wajah se.

After the event both of them gave a small appearance before the media. While standing manik placed his hand over her waist making her look at him.

Manik - so guys please meet Mrs..... Sorry Sorry my bad, Please meet CS Nandini Manik Malhotra!!! And he looked straight in her eyes smiling while she did the same.

They posed for the picture and answered a few questions.

Dinner was over and everyone had left for their respective homes. Nandini was once again dull.

Laksh - soo meri pyari Bhabhiii and Bhaiyaa presenting to you........ (And he opened the door showing a beautiful room which looked super romantic and peaceful)

So i hope aap meri itni mehnat bekaar nahi hone doge. You know what I mean guysss....

He winked and left smiling making MaNan feel shy. They entered the room with awkwardness.

Nandini - (feeling awkward) main change karke aati hoon.

Manik just bobbed his head nervously.

Nandini stopped as someone had held her sarees pallu from the back. She closed her eyes bit her lip feeling shy and nervous as she knew it was Manik. Manik  came closure to her still holding the pallu and whispered in her ear from the back itself. They were extremely close.

Manik - i have a surprise for you.

She opened her eyes and turned facing him asking what.

Manik- first close your eyes.

She closed her eyes and he ran towards his walk in closet where he had hid the gift.

Manik - (from the closet) no cheating

He finally came and stood in front of nandini.

Manik - open

Nandini opened her eyes and saw Manik standing there empty handed. Manik then turned her facing the bed and pointed above the bed standing right behind her.

And there was a beautiful big frame hanging just above the bed, where Manik was applying vermilion (sindoor) to Nandini during their wedding and she had a soft smile on her face.

She loved it.

Nandini - (her eyes still didn't leave the frame) beautiful!

She then turned and hugged Manik.

Nandini - Thankyou Manik, this is the most beautiful thing i have seen. Thankyou!

Manik broke the hug and kissed her forehead.

Manik - I love you!

Nandini - I Love You too!

He then leaned down towards her lips and first looked in her eyes for permission. She closed her eyes and moved her head slightly up to reach his height standing on her toes. He took the hint and kissed her holding her by her waist. It started as a slow and soft kiss but slowly the kiss deepened and turned into more passionate one. His hands travelled her back and reached her shoulder while hers travelled through his chest to his hair. His hand went to her pallu taking her by surprise. Her eyes opened wide while she stopped kissing. It was her first time so all the thoughts gushed in. Manik studied her reaction.

Manik - If you want we can wait until you are ready....

Nandini didn't reply as it wasn't that she didn't want but she was also scared.

Manik kissed her forehead once again holding her cheek with one hand.

Manik - You must be tired. Change karlo and let's sleep.

He smiled and patted her cheek once and turned to leave but she held his hand and stopped him. He turned to face her and she hugged him.

Nandini - (in his embrace) it's not that I don't want to do it, but it's just that I am scared, what if it pains too much?

Manik smiled and broke the hug. He cupped her cheeks and said looking straight in her eyes.

Manik - do you trust me?

Nandini bobbed her head.

Manik - it will hurt initially but soon you will start liking it and i promise we will stop anytime or any moment you want. Okay?

Nandini bobbed her head. He removed his blazer smiling and making nandini look down blushing and avoiding eye contact. Manik then threw the blazer on the bed and pulled her closer to him. She hugged him feeling shy. He too hugged her back and slowly and softly his hands moved towards her pallu not breaking the hug. He tried to remove it but it was of course secured by a pin.

Nandini - ohh haa pin hai!

Manik - ohh sorry!

Nandini - Manik... Pehle Baal khol doon main, woh hair extensions or pins ki wajah se thoda uncomfortable ho raha hai.

Manik - haa sure, laao main help kar deta hoon.

They sat on the bed. Nandini sat facing her half back towards him so that he can remove pins from her hair from one side while she removed from the other.

30 minutes later

Nandini - yaar manik thoda aaraam se nikaliye naa Baal khich rahe hai

Manik - (still removing the pins) yaar nandini Puri pin ki dukaan use kar di hai kya tumne baalo mein. 30 minutes se pin hi nikaal rahe hai woh bhi do log milke.

Nandini - ahhh!!! Manikkkk!

Manik - sorry!

30 minutes later

Finally they removed the last one and both fell on the bed tired.

Manik - Nandini shaanti se so jaate hai! Mujhmein aur takat nahi bachi

Nandini - hmm... Abhi tak saree ki pins baaki hai

Manik - haa toh karlo main chala sone

Nandini - manik please naa help kardo!!!! Pleaseeeeeeee!!!

Manik - yaar nandini don't do that you know main tumhare please ko mna nahi kar sakta

Nandini - pleaseeeeeeee!!

Manik - fine.

She then one by one showed her the areas of pins and both of them removed it.

They finally removed all the pins and both went to change. Manik in his closet and Nandini in her room itself as she hadn't unpacked yet.

They both jumped on the bed tired. They cuddled and quickly fell asleep due to tiredness.
