Everyone was on the plane. The flight was about to takeoff and Manish was still on a phone call with the event manager.

Manish - what do you mean woh abhi baaki hai? Arre Bhai kal haldi aur mehendi dono hai

Flight attendant - sir please switch off your phone, the flight is about to takeoff

Manish - (ignoring) i don't care, get it done before i reach there

Attendant - sir?

Everyone looked towards Manish

Raj got up and placed his hand on his shoulder catching his attention.
When Manish looked at him he gestured for the phone and Manish gave him.

Raj - just get it done before the function starts okay?

And then they disconnected the call. And Raj switched it off.

Raj - Manish ji itna tension mat lijiye, sab ho jaaega aur bhagwan ki daya se bohot acha hoga. Abhi stress ki jagah thoda rest kijiye kyunki woh waha jaake nahi milega.

Everyone was seated in their seats.

The flight took off and soon they were in Udaipur. They reached the resort by midnight. Manish wanted to check preparations before going to bed but was forced to sleep by everyone. RagLak volunteered to check it for Manish. Till the time Ragini returned Nandini had slept. A tear unknowingly left her eye, she wiped it off and slept beside Nandini hugging her.

Next morning Ragini was the first one to wake up as she wanted to look after the arrangements also and not be late for the function at the same time so she quickly took a shower, wore regular clothes and moved down to the hall.  She was looking after the decorations when Manish and swarna came down.

Swarna - ohho aaj humari maharani itni jaldi uth gyi

Ragini - haa toh mujhe ready hone mein koi disturbance nahi chahiye afterall di ke baad sabse pretty mujhe hi lagna hai

Laksh - (from behind) chahe kitna bhi makeup karlo bandariya toh bandariya hi lagegi

Ragini rolled her eyes, turned behind faking a smile.

Ragini - kuch bhi kehlo bandariya bandar se toh behtar hi lagti hai

Laksh - haa toh uske paas make-up kaa option hota hai naa!!!

Swarna - acha bs karo tum dono, bohot tayariya dekhni hai fir ready bhi hona hai...

And they got back to work.

After sometime laksh was looking for something when someone caught his attention. There she was talking, no rather shouting at a worker who wasn't decorating properly, he couldn't hear her as suddenly everything was on mute. All he could do was just admire her. Her hair was moving slightly with the wind, she seemed a bit stressed. All he wanted to do at that moment was to run to her and hold her tight But someone brought him back to the world by running into him. He said sorry and left. Laksh went to Ragini and tried to stop her but would she listen? No! So he stood just behind her and gestured to the person to leave and he obliged.

Ragini - arre bhaiya kaha Jaa rahe ho? Sunno toh... Arrreeee......
Ajeeb aadmi hai main baat kar rahi hoon aur beech mein hi nikl gya

Laksh - woh kya hai tum baat nahi kar rahi thi chila rahi thi... Issliye shayad

Ragini looked at him angrily and he knew he shouldn't say anything else or else he would die

Laksh - acha sorry (holding her shoulder and walking with her) tumhe nahi lagta tumhe abhi ready hone jaana chahiye?

Ragini - jaana hai naa but kaam itna pada hai pucho mat...

Laksh - arre meri nanhi si Jaan apne naazuk kandho par kitna bhoj daalegi?

Ragini again glared him

Laksh - (scared) arre pyaar se bol raha hoon yaar!!!

Ragini - fir theek hai

Laksh - tum jaao, main yaha hoon...

Ragini - aur tum kab ready hoge?

Laksh - mera tum tension mat lo mujhe toh ek kurta daalna hai bs...

Ragini - pkka?

Laksh - haa baba....

Ragini turned around to go but stopped hearing him...

Laksh - sunno, Baal khule rakhna... Tumpar bohot ache lagte hai!

Ragini blushed and left. Laksh smiled too and then got back to work.

Amidst what felt like a million different colours MaNan entered. Nandini wore white colour traditional crop top skirt with yellow patches and yellow colour dupatta with a floral maang tikka and a half hair clipped with little flower pins all over her hair. Manik wore a white kurta and pant with yellow colour dupatta on his one side and he was holding a small sword in the hand which also held his dupatta giving him a royal look. Manik held Nandini's hand which made her look at him with a smile which made a perfect candid picture. They then walked down hand in hand with ek dil ek jaan playing in background with lyrics -

(Everyone kept on looking at the bride and groom they looked just a match made in heaven. Colour bombs burst scaring nandini a bit and she held Manik's hand tighter which made her laugh at herself while Manik smiled)

(Both MaNan were just enjoying every bit of it, it was the first function of their marriage. Manik couldn't hold the excitement further and picked up Nandini in bridal style taking her by surprise as that was not a part of their entry and earning lots of hooting from the audience. They looked in each other's eyes with eye touching smiles. Manik then walked further to the swing made for bride and groom with Nandini in his arms)

(All the Kapoor's had tears in their eyes. Swarna and Manish were just looking at MaNan with lots of love and wishing that their love never fades and always stays the same. Both of them wiped their tears while fresh ones came however the smiles on their faces were constant.
The camera moved to Ragini who was wearing a yellow colour traditional crop top and skirt without any duppata. She too had a smile on her face seeing her sister smile wholeheartedly. She knew for sure that her Jijuu loved her sister just like she did and her sister will never feel that void of not having Ragini by her side but that also made her sad as would she be able to live without her sister under one roof.)

Manik placed Nandini down and both of them sat on the swing.

Raj and Nyonika came first. Nyonika took off an evil eye from them. They then took a leaf from the table in front of them and dipped it in haldi places beside and applied it on both of their cheeks and hands. Nyonika then kissed Nandini's forehead making everyone smile especially Manik.

Manik - Mummaaaa (fake sadness) mujhe bhul gye Bahu ke aate hi

Raj - tu bas jalta reh... Kyuki yeh humari Bahu nahi beti hai (placing his hand on Nandini's head)

Nyonika then kissed her son too

Nyonika - tum dono mere liye ek jaise hi toh ho....

Laksh - aur mera kya? Main toh ginti se hi bahar ho gya

Raj - lo aapki hi toh Kami thi... Tu bhi shaadi kar le toh tu bhi ginti mein aa jayega

Laksh - chalo fir abhi kar leta hoon

He went to swarna whose eyes were still moist.

Laksh - hey, Ms. Beautiful aap mujhse shaadi karogi?

Everyone broke into laughter while Manish playfully held his ears.

Manish - beta abhi main zinda hoon toh aapka koi chance nhi hai

Laksh - acha acha uncle sorry but ab aunty nhi toh aapki beti chalegi?

He looked at Ragini and winked while she was shocked. Manish left his ears and he ran to Nandini.

Laksh- Bhabhiii abhi bhi time hai mere saath bhaag chalo.... Better option hai

This time Manik held laksh's ears

Manik- no chance!!!

Manik left.

After lots of laughs, the function restarted.

Laksh went near Ragini and whispered in her ear

Laksh- tum toh karlo yaar mujhse shaadi.

Ragini - nahi pehle tum yaha jitni ladkiya hai unse puch lo fir jab sab mna kar de tab mere paas aana (sarcastically)

She then looked towards MaNan again.

Swarna was applying koel behind both their ears.

All the elders then one by one applied haldi on the cheeks and hands of the bride and groom.

Now it was the turn of RagLak and friends.

Ragini first applied a little haldi on both their noses while laksh threw the leaves aside and dipped his hands in the haldi scaring everyone. He then rubbed his hand all over Manik's face. Ragini too dipped her hands in the haldi and rubbed it over Nandini's face. The friends too joined the mischief.

She then quickly tried to rub it off when laksh quickly applied haldi over her cheeks. )

He looked here and there  and Ragini taking the chance came from behind and rubbed her hands over his face. She was about to run when he held her from behind and rubbed his cheeks with hers making her laugh. )

Nandini was almost ready. She had worn baby pink patiala with a red duppata. Her hair was tied in a loose pony with a middle partition and a few loose strands of hair falling on either side of her face. She wore a kundan maang tikka which matched her earrings. Her makeup blended perfectly with her look. She completed her look with heavy golden anklets and mojdis. Swarna took off an evil eye from her and applied little koel behind her ear.

Manik was looking handsome as hell in a plain red kurta paired with white pants. He too wore mojdis. His hair was just perfect. Nyonika gave him a small sword in his hand and looked at him with moist eyes. She then kissed his forehead while he bent for her.

Ragini was getting her makeup done when nandini entered her room completely ready.

Nandini - Ragini main dulhan hoke tayaar hogyi aur tu ab tak ready nahi hui....

Ragini didn't answer she was just looking at her sister who looked like a princess.

Swarna - haa baba....

Ragini - kitni pyaari lag rahi ho di!!!!

Nandini gave a beautiful smile.

Nandini - ab tu bhi ready hoja!!

Ragini - haa hogya, makeup done hai dress pehni hui hai bas duppata pin karna hai aur earrings pehne hai.

Nandini - laa main kar deti hoon.

Nandini then pinned her duppata and made her wear earrings. Swarna silently took off evil eyes from them and wished that may their love always stay the same for each other.

Swarna - kya karegi yeh tere bina?

Nandini - (smiling and looking at Ragini through the mirror) sab kuch aur mujhse behtar karegi. She hugged her from behind. Each of their eyes were moist by this time.

Ragini - roega koi nahi, sabke makeup ho chuke hai.

All were ready and moved downstairs but they had to wait for Manik. Manik was busy helping Laksh. Wear his kurta. He then applied some compact on Laksh then blow dried his hair and styled them. People kept calling him for entry but he was clear he wouldn't enter without laksh. Laksh wore his mojdi while Manik sprayed perfume on Laksh. And they were good to go. They moved out and laksh remembered something so he ran back in the room.

Manik - yaar laksh, ab kya reh gya!!! Yeh ladka aaj pitwaaega, already itne late hai aur upar se yeh...

Laksh ran and came back with the little sword which manik had placed on the bed while he was helping Laksh get ready and then forget there.

Manik smiled

Laksh - aapko allowed nahi hai shaadi tak isske bagair jaana.

Raj - bhai dulhan tumlogo kaa ek ghante se wait kar rahi hai idhar, kuch sharam karlo....

And finally Manik saw Nandini standing there angrily. He was lost. She definitely was the prettiest bride he had seen. And she was "His Bride". His heart skipped a beat looking at her. Could he kiss those pouty lips because of her anger now in front of the whole world!? But before that he needs to pacify her.

Laksh looked at Ragini she was wearing a mint colour Patiala with bottle green dupatta and heavy earrings matching her maang tikka. Her hair was open just like Laksh liked. She had soft curls. She looked at Laksh and her eyes roamed from head to toe. Man this guy had some charm in him. Even a simple bottle green kurta with white dhoti looked too good on him.

Manik stood beside Nandini and gestured sorry to hear which she ignored, then he softly spoke in her ear.

Manik - Sorry naa Jaan....

Nandini - aur thoda wait Kara lete

Manik - arre main toh ready tha bas laksh ko ready kar raha tha.... (She looked at him) Sorry (with puppy face)

Nandini - okay but yeh last time hai

Manik - pkka....

He then again leaned towards her and said softly

Manik - tum aise ready hoke Jaan lene waali ho toh pehli hi bta do

Manik - haaaayeee nandini (placing hand on his chest) aise sharmaya toh mat karo yaar, Kasam se dil par churiyaa chalti hai

Manik - tumhare liye sab kuch ban jaaunga - king, queen, prince, princess, tum bas bolke dekho meri jaan.

Laksh - love birds we know aapki shaadi hone waali hai but uske liye pehle entry leni padegi

Nandini stepped aside while it was Manik's entry. Laksh and another cousin brother of Manik picked up Manik on their shoulders while the dhol Nagada waalas played the dhol in perfect tune. A few girls dressed in Punjabi dresses showered flowers on the groom. Manik's friends and rest cousins were dancing in front of them. Manik was too dancing on the beats of dhol. They finally reached the swing made for dulha and dulhan. Then they placed him down. And they all danced for a while. They were having so much fun that no one wanted to stop but nandini had to enter yet so they stopped and manik stood beside the swing.
