Aina's pov :

Tears ran freely from my eyes not because I fear him or hate him but because of what should he had gone through in his life that made him the person I saw in the basement?.

I cried because of his pain, which he should have suffered! no one becomes heartless and cruel until they had gone through something worse and my heart broke thinking how he was able cope up his emotions? but at the same time I also can't forget that he also broke my trust he betrayed me!

I was crying in frustration and I heard Amaan banging on the door to open and let him in..

" Angel please open the door, I know you're angry at me! I know I'm sorry Pls open the door! " he pleaded me still banging.

" I'm sorry Aina, please.. listen to me, I can explain please! " his voice cracked I never heard vulnerability in his voice ever. I don't want to see his face because I know if I see him I'll give in I'm weak when it comes to him.

" Angel please let me in, I want to make sure you're OK! Don't forgive me, Be mad at me but don't leave me like them, please let me explain! " his voice pleading me and something move inside me when he said don't leave me! before I knew I was opening the door and when he saw tear stricken form, he winced as he closed his eyes but I moved back inside the room immediately..

Third person's pov :

Amaan drove his car breaking all the traffic rules in history not caring about anything, his only concern and priority was to explain to Aina and make sure she understands his reasons.

He parked the car on the porch and ran inside his mansion like a dying man, he was not even sure if she wants to do anything with him? Now he knows that she hates him and the thought alone was stabbing in his chest.

He banged on the door but she had locked herself in his room, she didn't open after his nth time pleading,he had the key to open his room it was not a big deal for him but he respected to give her some time, he didn't want to pressurize her. After all he was doomed from the start like he anticipated, this was bound to happen one-day but never in his wild dreams he thought she'll saw in that condition.

He was never scared for anything in his life or anyone, nobody was his weakness but now everything has changed, since she became his! he has two loving girls in his life who matters more than the world to him.

But he doesn't deserves their love, he still banged the door and pleaded in a broken voice because Now he tasted what it feels to be with her, he wants her back! he can't live without them but to amaans utter shock his Aina opened the door but when he saw her puffy red eyes and tear stricken face his heart broke into million pieces! he visibly winced because of him she had to endure this.

Maybe she was better without him in her life?

Aina didn't looked in the direction of Amaan, she turned her back to him as she wrapped her arm around herself as if she was protecting herself and this gesture doesn't go unnoticed by him, as he knew! it was she saying that her guard was up.

He wanted to wipe her tears, he wanted to take her in his arms, he wanted to kiss her pain away but how can he forget that because of him she was in pain. He felt dirty because he feared, touching her with his dirty hands will taint Her pure form like how tainted his soul was.

" Angel I know, I don't deserve you! I know you hate me for hiding things from you but please listen to me! " Amaan turned Aina weakly, all his strength faded away when he looked at her hurtful Amber eyes.

" I don't want to listen to your lies anymore, I want to be alone leave me! " Her voice sounded hoarse, she was still not able to believe that he thought she hates him.

" You know angel I never lie! I just I didn't told you! " he said looking away from her eyes, while cupping her face.

" And how that's different? Being kept in dark is no better than lying to my face! " she chided, she was feeling numb, she just want to be alone.

And he was speechless because he knew she was right " Tell me why did you hide things from me? tell me Amaan why you kept me in dark? She cried she was deeply hurt by his actions.

" you don't trust me right? Am I not worthy of your trust? Tell me? " her voice was hoarse from endless crying, Her every tear stabbed his heart, Her every question pricked his soul but if he didn't answer her she'll hate him more than she does now, he thought.

" No angel! No.. that's wrong you're the person I trust with closed eyes! you're more worthy than any of us please don't think like that! " he explained to her, she's his life.

" Then why Amaan why? " she asked looking into his sombre grey orbs to seek answers.

" Because I thought if I tell you about it or my past, you'll leave me for good! you'll loathe to be with me, I was scared angel! " he let it out his biggest fear, Aina would've laughed if she knew that the mighty Amaan Daniel king was scared! But it was not the time to mock him.

" How can you decide for me Amaan? it will be my decision if I want to be with you or not? tell me Amaan please! " she was angry! confused! hurt! her emotions were all over the place.

Amaan smiled weakly at her kindness even after he hurt like nobody yet she's giving him a chance to explain indeed what a lucky bas*ard he was? " I'm what, you saw at the base angel I'm a monster ! " he said looking away from her eyes because it can see deep through his soul.

" I refuse to believe, you're no Monster! You're not! " her firm answer shocked him, how deeply she believes him! how naive she's he thought.

she removed his hands which was cupping her face, his heart felt a twinge but it faded away as she cupped his face " No more evading questions or hiding truth, please answer me honestly! Who were the men whom you were torturing! " she asked him because if he didn't answer her this time, she don't know what she'll do with him.

He swallowed hard and closed his eyes when the familiar screams were heard her cries, the whips, the kicks, the cuts, the chains, the dark room the assault! everything replayed in his mind making him shiver Aina was shocked seeing him shaking in anger.

" Amaan" her silent plea made him come out of his living nightmare, When he opened his eyes there was no life left in his eyes, his eyes were blank! Aina was unable to read him.

The night outside was dark with no moon or stars which can lighten the darkness, the night was cold, aloof lifeless just like it was mirroring amaans soul.

He removed her hands and Aina was confused, he took several steps back he began to remove his shirt buttons one by one Aina was bewildered by his action, the blood covered shirt which was once white he removed it completely.

His body was perfectly carved he threw his shirt afar and he slowly turned around while closing his eyes and a gasp escaped her lips as she covered her mouth with her hands as tears escaped her eyes.

His back was covered with ugly scars, cuts, whips! no part of his back was left untouched, the one scar which made a whimper escaped from her lips was the big stitch marks that she saw which started from the top of his neck to his tail bone like a Railway track, she took shaky steps towards him when she touched a scar on his spinal cord, he flinched as he was still shaking, her heart broke how can someone do this? How can someone be this cruel?.

She turned him towards her, who had his head down in guilt pain and shame, she hugged him tight and cried for him as she buried her face in his neck, he instantly wrapped his arms around her pulling her close to him as he buried his face in her neck Her warmth was enough for him, just seeing his scars she break down what she'll do when she'll hear his past?

" who did this to you like how? " she asked still hugging him dear to her life" How can someone do this to anyone? " but his eyes were aloof and lifeless, he smiled at her lightly " it's in the past now and he's not worth it he got what he deserved! " he said wiping her tears as he pulled back, his voice was filled with rage.

" who's her Amaan? who's she? why in every threat message that I got, it's mentioned about her? why he promised me that he'll have fun with me just like how he had with her? " she questioned him, she was not that naive to know that it was the same person or gang that did it to him is sending her threat messages.

Amaans eyes darkened hearing her name and what they did to him! Aina felt something when his eyes turned perilous was she someone whom Amaan loved? This small jealousy aroused in her heart.

" Is she Someone you loved? " Aina blurted out and bit her tongue because of the flip, he smiled at her cuteness and clumsiness, she was his angel .

" Yes! she's the person I loved and I still do!" Aina's heart broke hearing it from his mouth that he loved someone before her.

"But not some ordinary one but my own blood, the light of our family my Elder sister Zaisha! " he smiled at her weakly just saying that out loud Made him tremble, how much he loved her how much zamy and he used to tease and torture her, how she'll support zamy and pick fight with him.

Aina was relieved but shocked at the same time his sister? Does he have a family?

" He took her away from us but I'll not allow anyone to take you away from me! " he said firmly, which held a promise in the depth.

" what happened to her Amaan? " she asked weakly.

" Sh-she was killed because of me, he killed her in front of my eyes and I couldn't do anything! I'm her murderer! " his voice cracked at the end, as a lone tear slipped out of his eye.

It was the first time Amaan cried in his whole 26 years of life!
