Y/n's POV:

Me and the others are resting. The sky of the planet Gurunda was already dark, indicating that it was night time. Gopal was gathering some small rocks and placed them on a white cloth.

"Chocolate Cekodok Transformation!"

Gopal turned the stones into a chocolate cekodok. He took the food and offered them.
"Haaa, you want some?" Gopal asked.

"Ewww... No thanks! We brought our own food." Ying and Yaya rejected Gopal's offer.

I wanted to try chocolate cekodok as I was about to reach the food, but Yaya stopped me, shaking her head and she lent me some of her food.

"Suit yourself then... it's your lost..." Gopal said, then immediately devoured the chocolate cekodok in his mouth.

"Y/n, here's some of my biscuits I baked." Yaya offered me one of her biscuits.

Boboiboy, Gopal, and Ying looked terrified hearing Yaya offering her biscuits to me. I took one of her biscuits and as I was about to take a bite, but I saw the trio shaking their heads and making an "X" sign using their arms.

I tilted my head and stared at them looking confused. Why don't they want me to eat Yaya's biscuits? As I was about to take a small bite— Boboiboy immediately took the biscuit out of my hand and ate it without hesitation.

Me and Yaya were both shocked at what Boboiboy did. Meanwhile, Gopal and Ying silently cheered and prayed for Boboiboy's bravery.

"Boboiboy, why did you do that?! You couldn't have told me if you wanted some." Yaya said.

"Now Y/n wouldn't be able to taste my biscuits."  She sighed.

'That's the whole point.' Boboiboy thought while covering his mouth trying not to puke.

Boboiboy didn't want me to try Yaya's biscuits and he is willing to sacrifice himself just for my safety.

Boboiboy is definitely a good brother.

Suddenly Boboiboy fainted making everyone panicked.

"Oh no! He fainted!"

"Big brother!"

"Quick! Someone get him some water!"

Time skip...

After Boboiboy regained his conscious back, everyone sat down and ate some of their food.

"Sheesh... we've been trying to search for this Power Sphera for 2 days. Why can't we find it." Boboiboy said.

"Just take it easy Boboiboy. It's not our fault. Every time we managed to track it down. It just disappeared." Gopal said he devoured his food again.

"Yeah. Ochobot's energy is running out since he keeps using his Teleport Power." Ying agrees with Gopal's statement.

Yaya also spoke up. "You need to be patient, Boboiboy. This is our first mission." She said.

"But supposedly we should do better for our first mission. We need to- huh?" While Boboiboy was speaking, a noise was heard that diverted their attention.

Gopal immediately hid behind Boboiboy. "What's that sound?"

While everyone looked around Boboiboy and Gopal saw a cactus. "Eh? Since when there's a cactus over there?" Boboiboy wondered.

The cactus moved and it turned out to be a cat but a cactus. The cat meowed at us.

"C-cat?" Boboiboy and Gopal were stunned to see a cat.

"Awwwwww So cute!!" Yaya and Ying exclaimed.

The cat looked at the cup of water, which was being held by Boboiboy. The cat looks at Boboiboy in a cute manner.

Boboiboy who understands the cat's intention. "Ooooo, you thirsty? Here, drink this."

Before Boboiboy puts down the cup, Gopal stops him." Dey! What do you think you're doing, Boboiboy!? We have a limited supply of water!"

The cat appeared angrily and started hissing at Gopal. It even looks like it wants to scratch him.

"Just let it drink, it must be really thirsty." Boboiboy put his cup on the ground. The cat approached the cup then started sniffing it and drank from it.

While everyone was looking at the cat, I noticed a small figure behind the cactus cat.

"Look! There's something over there!" I pointed out.

The gang looked where I pointed and saw a cat. A small purple feline creature with white paws and eyeliner-like markings around its' large and emphasized purple eyes. It wears a collar with a golden leaf and cotton ball around its neck.

Before everyone (except Gopal) got closer to the purple cat, it went in front of the cactus cat in a protective stance and started hissing at us.

Everyone back away but I didn't. I crouched down and looked at the cat, while the cat was about to hiss again but stop when it looked at me.

The purple cat slowly walked towards me and started sniffing my hand. After that, the purple cat rubs its head on my hand. It looks like the cat likes me.

But why does the cat look awfully familiar to me?

"How about... we adopt these two kittens?" Ying suggest.

"We can't do that. It already got an owner. Take a look. There's a collar around his neck." Yaya argued.

"Yeah you're right, there's even a bell." Boboiboy said.

I saw a named tag around the purple cat's collar. I read the name of its collar "kabukimono"

"Isn't that the Wanderer's past name? Unless..." I whispered to myself and looked at the cat who was still rubbing my hand.

The cactus cat finished drinking the water until it was gone. He touched his ear and licked his hand with his tongue.

"Awwwwwww!" Yaya and Ying couldn't handle the cat's cuteness.

"You're so cute!!" Ying petted the cat's head, which started purring.

"Hmmpph! Yeah sure cute. First you begged for food. I bet you want some as well right?" Gopal pointing at the cat using his chocolate cekodok.

"Ish. That's not nice, Gopal!" Yaya scolded him.

"Go away! Shooohhh shooohh" Gopal said trying to scare the cat.

"Eh? Gopal, don't!" Boboiboy warned him.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I said.

The cat started hissing at Gopal and attacked him. His face and whole body are already covered with scratches and cactus thorns from the cat.

"It hurts... everywhere..." Gopal said.

"Hehehe, awesome!" Boboiboy said.

Then he noticed that his power watch started glitching. "Huh? What's happening to my watch?" He wondered.

The purple feline suddenly jumped into my arms then started purring and snuggling at my chest.

"Awwww he likes you!" Ying and Yaya exclaimed.

Yaya was about to pat the cat but the purple feline started hissing at her. The cat doesn't like them at all, except for me.

"It looks like he doesn't seem comfortable around us." Yaya said.

"I told you we have to get rid of them!" Gopal exclaimed.

"I think Kabukimono seems comfortable around me." I said.

"Kabukimono?"

"That's his name. There's a name tag around his collar." I pointed at them where the name tag is.

Boboiboy tried petting Kabukimono but the purple feline jumped out of my arms and attacked Boboiboy.

"Kabukimono, no!"

Too late, the purple feline already scratched Boboiboy who had the same fate with Gopal from earlier.

Boboiboy and Gopal really are best friends alright. Both cats hate them.

I picked up Kabukimono who was still scratching at my big brother and calming him down. Kabukimono went back to his innocent self and snuggled into my arms.

Ying and Yaya helped Boboiboy and Gopal clean up their wounds. It seems like Boboiboy will be sleeping at Gopal's tent since the cat was so attached to his little sister, and Kabukimono will attack him if he sleeps beside with his little sister.

It looks like Boboiboy has a competition to get his little sister's attention.
