The next day came quickly, and I certainly felt nervous about it. My dad and I had arrived early, thankfully being greeted by an empty classroom. He directed me to just sit in my seat and wait for everyone to arrive before he introduced me to the class formally.

"What do I even say?"

"Just introduce yourself," he said while crawling into his sleeping bag. The downside of being raised by Aizawa was that I learned his social skills, of which do not come in handy when trying to make friends. Thankfully, before I could go into full panic mode, Midnight threw open the door to classroom.

"Asami! Good morning beautiful!" she exclaimed while giving me a bear hug.

"Auntie, do you know how I should introduce myself to the class? This slug is no help," I complained.

"That's Mr. Aizawa on campus," he interjected, making me stick my tongue out at him.

"Oh! I am so glad you asked hunny! Just tell them about yourself, what you like to do, why you want to be a hero, things like that! And don't forget to bat those beautiful eyelashes of yours at any cute boys," she added, making me cringe.

Is that even a thing? Do people actually bat their eyelashes at other people? What the fuck?

"Midnight, stop trying to turn her into you," Aizawa said while rolling his eyes.

"Well someone has to teach her how to socialize since you have no idea how to," she retorted.

"Jesus, you guys really are an old married couple," I said staring at the both of them bickering.

"Oh Asami! Don't insult me like that! We both know that I don't go for boys his age," she scolded, making me laugh in agreement. For a woman in her 30's, she already had the mindset of a cougar. Suddenly, she let out an ear piercing squeal, making both me and my dad jump. "You should let me fix your hair so you make a good first impression on all of the boys! Oh! This is so exciting! Quickly! Come along!" she exclaimed while dragging me by the wrist along to the the closest girls restroom. I attempted to reach out to Aizawa for help but he just rolled over in his sleeping bag to face the wall. Stupid slug man.

Once in the hallway, I saw the blonde boy again making his way to the classroom. He looked completely confused as to what was going on as Midnight continued to drag me down the hallway.

I mouthed him a half serious "Help me" as I was dragged passed, only making his confusion increase ten fold as Midnight shoved me into the girl's bathroom.

Out of thin air, Midnight whipped out a straightening iron and makeup bag. "Where the hell did those come from?" I asked, almost horrified at what she was going to do to me.

"A lady always keeps beauty essentials with her at all times!"

"Great but where the hell were you keeping them?!"

"Oh, stop fussing. Now hold still, I only have 20 minutes to get you presentable!" she shushed, plugging in the straightening iron and plopping me down to sit on the floor. "Don't make me put you to sleep."

"Alright, alright! Do what you need to do!" I conceded. Somehow, she managed to straighten my hair and put winged eyeliner and mascara on me in 20 minutes.

"And for the final touch and as a present to celebrate your first day as a UA student, I got you this hair clip," she said, holding out a gorgeous crimson red clip.

"Its so pretty, oh my god. Thank you so much," I said, giving her a huge hug.

"Anything for my little Asami," she said while patting my head. Nemuri was definitely a motherly figure to me. Aizawa always handed me over to her whenever I was having 'girl problems' like learning how to braid my hair or going shopping since he had no idea how to deal with it, causing us to become extremely close. He has learned a lot with time, but those things were always more fun to do with Nemuri anyway, to which he had no complaints about. "Now let's get you back to the classroom!" she cheered, dragging me back to class. We paused outside the classroom for a second and she put her hands on my shoulders to look me in the eyes. "Just be yourself. I know you're nervous but they will have no reason not to love you," she said softly, placing the clip into my hair. I felt my nerves calm down a bit and nodded with a smile, leading her to knock on the door.

Aizawa opened the door. "Took you long enough," he mumbled, trying to maintain his scowl. However, I couldn't help but notice the slight, soft smile he gave me for reassurance. "Alright everyone, this is your last classmate, Asami Emi. She is also a recommended student and ranked first place with her previous scores on the quirk apprehension test," he stated, gesturing me to the front of the class to introduce myself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all, please take good care of me," I said with a bow. Everyone just stared at me silently with wide eyes, making me shift my feet uncomfortably.

"If you have any questions for Emi, feel free," Aizawa said while giving me a devious smirk instead of letting me take a seat.

I will make you pay for this. I said with my eyes, glaring at him in response.

Unfortunately for me, his encouragement for questions caused a massive uproar in the classroom.

"She's so hot!"

"What's your quirk?"

"Who recommended you?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"What middle school did you go to?"

"Please! One at a time!" I said in a panic, trying to talk over all of the chatter, making students hush each other until the room quieted down. After taking a breath, I did my best to put on my best 'I'm completely calm' face. "Okay, who's first?"

A boy with yellow hair with a lightening bolt in the front shot his hand up rather aggressively. I nodded at him to encourage him to go. Shooting out of his seat, he said "I'm Denki Kaminari! I need to know, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Um. No," I said, shooting Aizawa a confused look but realizing he was already passed out in his sleeping bag.

"Follow up question, do you want a boyfriend," he added with a smirk and a wink.

I stared at him blankly for a second before responding. "Okay does anyone else have questions that don't cause me physical pain?" I responded bluntly, causing a few girls to laugh as Kaminari slid down into his seat. The boy with red hair in front of him patted his shoulder to comfort him as he slammed his head onto his desk.

That's when I noticed the boy with green hair raising his hand.

He looks so familiar for some reason.

After giving him a nod, he stood up nervously to ask his question. "U-um. I'm Izuku Midoriya. What's your quirk?"

Oh. The boy from yesterday. Maybe that's it? Why do I feel like its something else though?

"It's called demon fox. It allows me to enhance my physical abilities such as strength and my senses. I can also convert my life energy or aura, whatever you want to call it, into different forms for both offense and defense," I explained.

"That's amazing!" he exclaimed while scribbling everything I said into his notebook. "And what do you mean by converting your aura?"

I quickly glanced back at my dad for help, but he was borderline snoring at this point. "Um, well, it's probably easier to demonstrate than explain," I said, activating my quirk. The class oohed as my eyes turned red and I engulfed my body in a red aura. "So this is my aura or life energy. I can shoot it as a concentrated blast or use it as a shield. It also enhances my senses and physical abilities as well as provides me with self-healing capabilities. I can also use it on someone else if you want me to show you," I explained, causing Midoriya to nod excitedly. I walked over to him and held out my hand, making his face go bright red as he reached out to take it. From there, I passed my aura along to him, causing a red glow to surround him. "Doing this consumes my energy faster, but it allows me to track other people's location and vitals as well as provide them the enhancements it provides me. However, I would need to maintain physical contact to heal more severe injuries they may have," I finished, deactivating my quirk.

"EXCUSE ME BUT I MUST ASK YOU TO REFRAIN FROM USING YOUR QUIRK WITHOUT MR. AIZAWA'S PERMISSION!" a boy with glasses shouted while standing up, making me jump.

"I'm sorry but please refrain from speaking until I call on you," I said sickly sweet, both ignoring his comment and causing him to sit down in confusion.

"Why's it called demon fox?" the boy with red hair asked.

Mildly confused by the question, I responded blankly with, "My powers are from a demon fox." For some reason, this response caused some of the class to laugh.

"A succubus!" a kid with purple balls on his head yelled. "That explains why she's so seductive!"

I reactivated my quirk, flaring my aura at the little perv. "Watch it, kid," I warned while staring him down, making him look like he was about to piss himself as he hid behind his desk.

Unfortunately, the tall boy with glasses shot up again. "IT IS UNHERO-LIKE TO THREATEN A FELLOW STUDENT!"

"So is sexual harassment," I said blankly, not missing a beat. He pushed his glasses up his nose uncomfortably in response, shifting in his place.

"That is still no reason to threaten violence!"

"I technically didn't threaten anything. He actually seemed interested in the demon aspect of my quirk so, if anything, I was warning him not to meet Kitsune personally," I responded, causing the majority of the class to crack up and the tall boy to take his seat again in defeat.

Thankfully, this uproar woke Aizawa up. "Alright, that's enough. Asami you can go sit," he said, making me let out a sigh of relief. I noticed the ash-blonde seemingly staring me down intently. I could even feel his gaze as I faced the front. It wasn't a threatening or intimidating stare however, it seemed more curious, which wasn't exactly surprising.

What's his deal? I thought to myself as I listened to Aizawa lecture on about something or other.

The first half of the day went on without a hitch. Once the lunch bell rang, however, I felt borderline ravenous. I didn't eat much yesterday being I was asleep for the majority of it and only had a bowl of cereal this morning, so I was starving. Unfortunately for me, Aizawa grabbed me before I could go and get food from Lunch Rush. "Principle Nezu asked for you to stop by during your lunch break," he said once the classroom emptied out.

"Does he have food?" I asked, struggling to ignore how hungry I was.

"What do you want, I'll just go grab it for you."

"Oh. Are you coming to this meeting too?"

"He wants to talk about your outburst from yesterday so yes, I'm going to stop by a little later."

"Okay, can you get me pork dumplings and fried rice please?" I asked.

"Sure, now get out," he said, shoving me out the door. I rolled my eyes with a laugh at his tone.

"Yah, yah okay. Just bring me my food," I said, beginning to walk down the hall as he waved me off and shut the door.

As I turned the corner, I noticed the ash-blonde leaning up against the window. He seemed to be watching the door as if he were waiting for someone. "You're not going to eat?" I called out to him. "I also just realized I never caught your name," I added once I was in front of him. "I'm Asami Emi."

"Katsuki Bakugou. Don't fucking forget it," he said sternly. I bit my lip to refrain from laughing.

"So are you going to go eat or are you just going to stand by the window all period?"

"None of your fucking business," he shot back. I shrugged at his response and continued on toward Principle Nezu's office. "Where the hell are you going?"

"Principle Nezu wanted to talk to me," I said turning back to him.

"About what? You getting expelled your first day?" he said mockingly.

Laughing at his assumption, I responded with a simple "Nope, not yet at least."

"And what the hell were you doing yesterday? You looked like you got shot."

"I did," I stated nonchalantly, leaving him completely confused. "Alright, I gotta go. Aizawa said he'd bring me food to Nezu's office and I'm starving," I said, turning back to walk down the hallway. "See ya later, Bakugou!"

"Yah," he mumbled back as he watched me disappear around the corner to Nezu's office.
