|Nightmare

I really like Sabito, and we can't have him dead in every one shots

The world seems brighter when he come. You and Sabito were not related by blood but after getting taken in by Urokodaki, the both of you got along so well that you two were almost inseparable. 

You woke up together, train, eat, play, and even sleep together (not in a perverted way). You two were practically siblings, but there are just times that no matter how happy you are in the present, the past will keep showing in front of you to remind you of the nightmare you've been and to make you see and feel the pain all over again.

There were nights that you would just randomly woke up from a nightmare, making it hard to sleep again, so you'll get out of bed and seat on the roof of the small house and just stare at the moon until the sun come up. 

It has always been like this, until one night you were not alone anymore.

You ran and ran and ran, the dense tress on the forest seems to be endless.

The forest was quiet except for the loud beating of your heart, your continuously gasp for air, the burning house behind you and the footsteps after you. 

Suddenly the ground seems to disappear as you fall down in the snow covered ground.

it was cold

as you crawl to the ground you notice your hands were covered in blood, as you stare at it wondering were it come from , a voice echoed in your head.

"It's their blood"

suddenly the whole surrounding change and you were back inside the burning house and the body of your family members surround you, their pool of blood surrounding you. all of a sudden they all opened their red blood eyes and lunge at you.

you close your eyes but the pain didn't come, when you opened them, headless corpse of  your family members greet you, their heads cut off from their body and the culprit was none other than you.

you sat up from bed, sweating and gasping for air, your heart beating so fast. you grip the blanket as you try to calm down, you look beside you to see Giyu and Sabito sleeping soundly, calming you a little bit.

as usual, you got up from bed and go up the roof. convincing yourself that your nightmare was over, hugging yourself to stop them from trembling. you close your eyes for a second and took a deep breath, you opened your eyes expecting to see the moon but instead you were met with grey eyes, staring at you worriedly. 

"holy Shit!" you exclaimed as you leaned back, your heart beating so loudly again.

"are you okay?" Sabito asked as he offered his hand to pull you up, which you gladly accepted.

"Sabito, what the hell are you doing here, you almost gave me a heart attack" you said as you sat down again.

"sorry" he sheepishly apologize as he took a seat next to you, and draping a blanket for the two of you to share.

"another one?" he asked after a minute of silence, you glance at him and tilt your head confusedly

"your nightmare, it must have been bad this time" he said as he look away from his gaze at the moon to look at you, his eyes held nothing but pity and worry. meanwhile, your eyes widen from his statement.

"so you knew" you said as you look back at the moon, all this time Sabito knew of your nightmare yet you keep it a secret from him, he must have been waiting for you to opened up to him. suddenly you felt guilty for some reason.

"don't look so glum, I understand why you kept it a secret, but next time if your having a hard time tell me okay?" he cheerfully said as he wrap his hands on your shoulder to pull you closer to him.

"I'm sorry" you whispered as tears suddenly fall down your eyes, all the emotions you tried to hide all just came out as Sabito gently rub you back, comforting you.

"Don't worry and let it all out, whatever your nightmare is remember that you're never alone (Y/N), I'll always be here " he said as he smiled at you so warmly, making you smile and happy.

"I feel better after talking to you, Thank you Sabito" you sincerely said as you rest your head on his shoulder. 

"hmmmm any time " he whispered, then gently kiss the side of your head as a wind blows over the two of you, as you two stare at the moon, you felt sleepy at the warmth he emits.

"Good night (Y/N), sweet dreams" was the last thing you heard as you fall asleep.  after that day, you've never had anymore nightmares. You love him so much to the point that the world that seems so messed up look so brighter and warm thanks to him.
