Haibara was in a deep thought about her friendship with Conan as she didn't want to betray him....she still feels that Conan isn't trusting her fully...as she had betrayed her team before also..
She was thinking while bumped into someone..

"Ouchh'' she said out.

"You're spacing out a lot...''
" Huh??''

Conan turned back to her.
"You seemed to be lost in your thoughts so much that you didn't even saw I've stopped?''

"I'm sorry"

"Haibara...you don't always have to be sorry to me... you know...it wasn't your fault...and nor you've forced me to take that drug...Gin did..''

" But I made that..'' she mumbled.

" Yes as you're a genius...they might have forced you...or else you won't make something to hurt others... I believe..'' Conan chuckled.

" You believe me that extent?''

" Yes... friends trust each other don't they?''

" Hmm...''

''come on...smile a bit...''

Haibara felt so happy...this was the first time after her sister that someone has cheered her up like that....nor that she wasn't sure if he did said that sincerely but it sounded so like it...

At school...

"You have to wait...''

" I know...''

" You know?''

" Yes..''

Conan entered and took his seat...after few minutes their class teacher entered..

" Students... we've a new member in our class...hope you'll take care of her...''

Everyone Clapped as Haibara entered.

" Introduce yourself...''

" My name is Ai Haibara...
Nothing more for my bio.... don't annoy me..

Conan could really feel some boys going crazy over her arrival telling her to sit next to her...but she seemed to have another plan..

Haibara went to sit beside him.

" You're going to sit here?''

" If course why not.... you're my friend..
And moreover I don't know anyone else other than you..''

After their class...

Some of the students approached her..

" Hey..''

" Umm...me??''

" Yes..''

"Oh sorry Genta..''

" Haibara...these are my friends...Ayumi.. Mitsuhiko and Genta..''

"Oh hii''.

" You looks so cute..'' Ayumi said.

Haibara just smiled...

" If you're Conan's friend then you're also our friend...feel free to be open with us..'' Mitsuhiko said..

"Hmm.''

She went outside as Ayumi followed her.

"Your friend doesn't seem to like us..'' Genta told.

" You're misunderstanding her... she's like that only...it took her a while to even open up to me..so just give her some time...''
Conan said .

At the end of the day they became good friends...

" Guess what lots of boys wanted to be your friend Haibara...seems like they like you a lot ..'' Ayumi said as Mitsuhiko blushed...

" Looks like Mitsuhiko is blushing...mind telling us why?'' Conan said sarcastically.

" You seems to have a Haibara effect Conan.. your saying thing's sarcastically like her...'' Ayumi said.

" Sorry for that... I don't know how to socialize...'' Haibara apologised...

" Geez Haibara... I told you....you don't always need to apologise to everyone....and to you Ayumi....she may say things like that....as because it's her personality... and I'm sure that boys are liking her for that....and there's no problem in it....I don't mind being caught in.. Haibara effect....it's cool.''

This was the first time she felt tickle in her heart....for some reason she felt...but it was a new and unknown feeling to her....like Ayumi hasn't insulted her or like that...but Conan defended her....even said that he won't mind to be caught in her effect...it was hard for her...as it was a new thing that happened to her.

" You didn't have to tell Ayumi like that...she must be a bit sad....''

" Nope.... she's not like that..''

" You seem to know everyone very well...''

" Well not you...but I will have that enthusiasm to know you well enough so that you can open up to me...'' Conan smiled.

" But didn't I already?''

" Haibara I think both of us know it isn't....'' Conan said as Haibara stopped her pace...

" What happened..?''

" Well... I'm sorry... I'll surely tell you someday about me...maybe...I guess...so that you won't feel I'm hiding so much from you...'' Haibara said as she grabbed his hand and started running..

" Come on run fast....or else we'll be late..''
Conan for the first time felt that she's trying to be more frank with him which he was liking as he didn't want her to suffer for her sister's death.

While running..
Haibara heard some faint voices of someone who she didn't wanted to..

" Where in the earth she can go...??''
" She can go anywhere Vodka but I'll find her soon enough to take that precious life of her...just like her sister...''

She paused..
A rush of horror made her numb...she couldn't move...she thought maybe they'll find her...Gin and Vodka..
Will find her...and end her life....but wasn't it good....?? While thinking of surrendering to them so that Conan didn't have to get into trouble...a voice came...a voice that saved her...

" HAIBARAAAAA!!!?''

" Ehhh?''
" I'm practically calling you a hundredth times...where did you space out again...??''

" Conan....it's them.... I heard...''

She started panicking....she curled up into her knees and demanded Conan to leave..

" Leave Conan...LEAVEE..''

" HUH??''
" They'll catch you or else...''

" And what about you??''

" Let me be.... they'll find me sooner or later...you run....save yourself...go...':

Soon enough she found her get pulling forward and she found Conan to grab her hands and run away....

" What are you doing...??''

" How heartless do you think I'm?"

" Umm!!':

" I can't leave you alone.... I promised to you sister... I'll protect you..'' Conan said while running.

"You did what?''

" I promised her that I'll protect you....and I'll....even if you don't want... I'll protect you.. because...':

" Because...'

" I don't want you to be dead....''

This time Haibara was flustered....she felt...that it's in vain to try to make Conan change his mind....once that he had said he'll protect her ...he won't go against his words...

And that's when she felt a tickle in her heart.
