:Isaac:
Lore hung out quite often with me after I brought her out on a few more dates in my mind. It was never spoken, but we both knew that it was a date. And deep down not just one for friends at this point.
She was slowly beginning to like me. 'She stares and turns red quite often when our skin brushes against hers, it's pretty cute.' And she still liked Venom. To the point she tried to bring him home with her once and Venom followed. 'Hey, she's cute and likes to hug me.'
That would be the hardest part of explaining the supernatural world to Lore. That my 'pet' wolf Venom was actually a wolf who lived inside me. But I was working on that. Darcy and Della ended up over here once more as Isabella went on some big hunting trip a few states away.
And Dalton was at the building of dad's business working with him. And they didn't trust Della home alone typically. Darcy they did since Darcy was innocent. 'But Della on the other hand is something that makes hell look like a walk in the park to be honest.'
So now Della was here. And to make matters worst so was Isadora. Isadora was my best friend and I loved her to death at times. But the longing looks she gave Darcy just irritated me at times. It made time feel so slow for when Darcy would turn sixteen.
And then it would be all fine and good. 'Because then he'll realize it and then you know the two can go get to know and each other.' I nodded at that. Della was sitting on the couch with a blade of silver in her hand that she sharpened with another one.
The sound hurt, but Della didn't really care. Her blue-silver eyes were transfixed on the blade as she sharpened it. Darcy was sitting on the couch looking at his text books for school and Isadora tried to slyly watch him from her book that she was reading. Admiring him a lot.
'He hasn't really caught her much.' 'In his defense he is pretty clueless and tends to ignore his surroundings when working.' I nodded at that. We were all pretty quiet as we sat on the couches in the living room all doing our own thing at this point in time.
Darcy reading his text books, Della sharpening the daggers that Isabella gave her, Isadora reading slash admiring Darcy, and then me on my phone. My mom was in the kitchen making some lunch for us to eat. Some homemade mac and cheese which smelled absolutely delicious from here, and I couldn't wait to eat it.
My mom's mac and cheese was always creamy and cheesy and I loved it. 'There is no rejecting homemade mac and cheese when it comes to mom or Flimur. It's always good to eat.' I nodded at that. Stretching just a bit I turned back to my phone as it dinged. Lore.
Do you think I could come over? I texted back. My nephew and niece are here, you can come over, but beware my niece is a bitch. I waited before she texted back. Ok, I'll be there soon. And then we ended our conversation and smiled just a bit.
'Now the biggest thing for Lore, meeting our crazy niece. I mean Darcy is ok, but Della on the other hand.' I looked at Della as she finished sharpening her blade and put them away before stretching. And now to warn her on being nasty to Lore.
"Lore is coming over." I said and Isadora looked up and smiled at me. She didn't mind Lore. As well as taking it upon herself to see if Lore had a boyfriend. She was trying to push us together a bit faster. More of because she knew how much it sucked waiting for your mate.
Except she was waiting because of Darcy's age. "Who's Lore?" Della asked looking at me with a smirk. 'That smirk says she got some intentions, she's planning something.' "My mate, and your not antagonizing her. She has medical problems as well." I added and Della rolled her eyes at me.
"Fine." Della said crossing her arms across her chest. "I'll just antagonize that new kids at school." Della said with a smirk. Della was a bully. One that no one would stand up to. I mean she wasn't a psychopath, but she was quite mean spirited. And a bully.
But unlike most bullies she wasn't bullied nor just bark. Most backed down if they got into a fight with their victim who fought back. The difference between her and most bullies is big. 'Which is why she really does have quite the rep in school.' I nodded at that.
She had been sent home numerous times. Della was the troublemaker twin. Although she had a thing for bullying the popular kids, she tended to stay clear of kids with mental illness and ones with medical problems. Which is why I added the whole medical problems that Lore had, as Della would leave her alone.
'Della is quite mean, but she doesn't really bother kids with disabilities. Mostly because one of her best friends mom has autism.' Her best friend happened to be Isabella's best friend's son. Derik's son. Although she did taunt and tease him as well, not that he cared.
He happened to be one of those kid made of steel when it came to insults. The only one she didn't taunt much was Darcy. I mean occasionally, but not badly. Although if someone taunts him it's the end of the world. Della was very possessive when it came to her twin.
And her friends. 'She's like a demon released from hell, although that's an understatement.' "Promise to play nice?" I asked Della who rolled her eyes and nodded. "What does she have wrong medically?" Della asked. "Heart disease." I answered still having trouble saying that. Della nodded as my mom continued making the mac and cheese.
I'm sure Lore would love to eat with us as well. She also gets to meet Darcy and Della, at least Della would play nice. Which was a big thing. 'So this should go quite smoothly, or at least we can hope.' So with that I nodded and leaned back to wait.
Lore showed up about fifteen minutes after. 'With her mom in their car.' I nodded at that as I looked up and the car pulled into the driveway.
I smiled at that. Lore stepped out with her phone before she said goodbye to her mother. Getting up I waited for her at the door as she rung the doorbell and I answered it and smiled at her as she gave me a hug very quickly.
It was the best thing to happen to me in the entire day. Having Lore wrap her arms around my torso with her head rested against my chest as her scent filled my senses and I love every second of it. I gave her a hug back before she pulled back with a slight blush.
'And now the big part, introducing her to Darcy and Della.' I nodded at that before we walked into the living room and Isadora looked up. Her soft brown eyes held a smile just as much as her lips as Darcy and Della looked up at my mate.
Darcy offered a half smile before going back to his textbooks to study for the upcoming test that he would be taking. Della studied her, the blue-silver eyes tearing her apart and dissecting her before she went to her phone and Lore looked at me and I smiled at her as we took a seat near Isadora.
"Have you eaten lunch yet?" I asked. "No." Lore answered and I smiled at her. 'It means she can have some lunch with us, some good homemade mac and cheese that mom is almost done with now.' I nodded at that smelling the cheese sauce my mom was making.
"Well my mom is making some homemade mac and cheese if you want any." I said and Lore smiled at me. And she looked like she wanted some. Everything had been going very well, nothing had gone wrong. And then Della decided to speak.
"No she just wants to watch us eat and think 'oh well I'd really want some', you moron." Della said. 'Well then, looks like instead of antagonizing Lore she is going to do it to us.' 'I'd say I was surprised. But honestly I am not the least bit surprised about this.'
I shook my head at Della who simply smirked at me. Della really could be a thorn in my side at times. I loved her. . . to death at times. 'The irony.' I smiled at that as I watched her. Della cocked an eyebrow daring me to say something, but Lore was the one.
"Your quite feisty, I like you." Lore said. Della looked so shocked at that and then I remembered telling her about Della being a bitch. Della looked irritated. "You aren't fun." Della said before leaving as Darcy snickered a little as Della went into the kitchen and I smiled at that.
"Easy technique." Was all Lore said and we all smiled.
1553. I'm making covers for the book I'll be publishing after I end Entwined Mates. I can't believe I'll be saying goodbye to the Ashford brother series. It makes me sad honestly. I didn't think it would, but now it really does, especially since none of them have their mates in The Immortals yet except Rodney and Rory. For Christ sake Isaac is still a toddler. But lets make our time last. Until next time loyal marshmallows.
