I went back from the case I solved and entered the agency. I wiped the sweat off my forehead before feeling an unsettling aura coming from the living room where the detectives hang out.

I went there and raised a brow when all the detectives were silent. None of them were comparing the cases they solved, non of them were playing games, none of them were even looking at each other.

"Did something happen?" I asked before sitting down on a vacant spot in the sofa. "Why are you guys so.. quiet?" I grabbed a cookie from the near tray and took a bite.

Armin slowly looked at me, a small sad smile formed on his lips.

I almost choked. "He what?"

"The brat resigned earlier.." Levi mumbled before taking a sip of his favorite black tea. "He said that he had some problems to take care of."
