Titles That I Picked Up This Week:

Green Arrow #38:
This is a pretty big issue as it marks the end of Ben Percy's current run on Green Arrow. This issue wraps up plot points that started all the way back in issue #1. It's been a crazy ride but I'm glad I've read every issue in this run so far because it's been really great so far. Just a non stop thrill ride. By the end everything turns out ok and Oliver is able to clear his name and the Justice League comes in to help him out which was a cool scene to see. The only thing they didn't follow up on in the last issue was this....

Yeah, at the end of the last issue Damian goes to visit Emiko and we never do find out what happened in their conversation. It's the one part I was most curious about outside of how Oliver is able to clear his name. Oh well, I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens next with the new creative team. (Whoever that might be). There's going to be a lot of changeups happening in DC very soon and it's going to get pretty crazy.

Nightwing #40:
This issue picks up where the last one left off with Nightwing being attacked by the judge. The way he escapes his death trap was kind of ridiculous but then again it's a comic book. I'm really digging this Judge character. He's such a unique villain. I guess this arc is supposed to end with the next issue and I am looking forward to it. Go ahead and check this one out.

Superman #42:
Here we go. I love superman rebirth (or just superman now i guess). Mostly the stuff with Jonathan Kent and seeing him grow up. It just makes you feel good when you read it. It's going to suck when the current creative team leaves Superman because this stuff has been my favorite part since the rebirth. Hopefully when Brian Michael Bendis takes over writing all of superman it will be consistent and stay good. Anyways, with this issue we get to see Boyzarro. I'm not sure if he was ever seen until this issue but he's there now. Anyways, he shows up and so does Jonathan Kent and this issue teases a grand adventure about to take place and I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Well that's going to wrap it up for this week's issues. I enjoyed everything this week and I look forward to what is coming next in these comics, especially when it comes to Green Arrow and such. Anyways, what did everyone think of this week's issues? Did you like them or dislike them? Let me know in the comments below where we can discuss it further. As always thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!
