Goku x Saiyan!Reader

"(Y/n), (y/n)! We're here!" A voice calls your name. You sigh from stretching your limbs and turn to see the spiky-haired Saiyan and the Prince land a ways from you. You roll your eyes. "Well, that took a while. What kept you guys?" You ask, arms folding across your (f/c) and black fighting gi. Goku chuckles nervously and scratches his head. "It wasn't because of me! Vegeta slowed us down. He said he was doing something with Bulma." He shrugs, earning a lightly blushing, grumpy Prince.

Vegeta smacks his rival on the head. "Shut up, Kakarot! Don't tell her that!" He quickly glances at you, then away. Goku rubs his throbbing head and grumbles. You cover your mouth and laugh. "Don't worry, Vegeta. I understand," you jump in to save your goofy friend.

     You had been another Saiyan survivor, living on another planet. When you found out that two other survivors were living on Earth, you decided to meet them. You were amazed at the strength the two warriors possessed, and requested to train with Whis alongside them. Your strength began to rival Vegeta's.

     You are taken from your thoughts when Goku walks over to you. "Uh... (y/n), can I ask ya somethin'?" You smile at his way of speaking. He moves his hand to the side of his mouth. "What exactly was Vegeta talking 'bout? Ya know, with Bulma?" He whispers, then folds his hands pleadingly. "Please! I wanna know!" You open your mouth to speak, but Vegeta interrupts. "That's none of your concern, Kakarot! As I remember, you and your blasted wife aren't exactly united." Goku stares at the Prince and sags his shoulders.

"Ah, Vegeta! Ya have to bring that up again? Chi-Chi's been keeping me from trainin', and she wants me to farm all the time!" He explains and frowns comically. You struggle to hold a giggle. "C'mon, guys. This time is for training, not drama!" You crack your knuckles. The goofy Saiyan's face lights up and he smiles. "Yeah, let's get this started!" He says and stretches his legs. You notice even Vegeta smiles, and you smirk back.

- Time Skip -

It was not long until you three were sparring together. Mainly it was you and Goku sparring. Vegeta was meditating a distance away.

You narrowly dodge a punch from your partner, only to earn another to your jaw. The fight between you and Goku goes on until you jump back. You smirk and transform into a Super Saiyan. "You've gotten stronger, Goku. But so have I!" You say with a goofy grin. He chuckles and also transforms. "Yeah, I've been training without you two."

     You chuckle. "Well, guess I'm not the only one," you retort and speed at the other Super Saiyan. You throw a kick, but he dodges it and grabs your limb, swinging you a couple of times. You crash into a tree, but quickly recover and stand up. "Heh. Not bad, Goku. But I've been holding back. Super Saiyan isn't the other transformation I have now." You smile and rub the bridge of your nose with your index finger. His eyes widen slightly.

Before he could answer, you begin to raise your power. It doesn't seem as much at first, but the ground starts to shake. Your tied (h/c) hair slowly changes into a blue hue. With a final yell you finish the transformation, standing before Goku as a Super Saiyan Blue. You smirk at the spiky haired Saiyan's surprised expression. Even Vegeta stops his meditation and stands up. "This can't be."

"Heh. I would be surprised too. Not bad, huh?" Goku smiles wide. "You bet! I've never seen a female Saiyan in Blue form before!" He says excitedly. Vegeta growls and folds his arms in a huff. "Tch. Whatever... do what you want." He turns and walks away.

Goku transforms into his Blue form, and the fight between you two continues. Punch after punch, kick after kick, you two seem to be matched, until the other Saiyan kicks you to the ground. You cough and try to stand. "Damn it... I'm still not strong enough," you mumble, wiping blood from your lip.

     Goku floats down to you, reaching out his hand. You smile and take it; he pulls you to your feet. "You did amazing, (y/n)! You've gotten super strong!" He praises. You blush, clearly flattered. "Thanks. Hopefully Whis can give me much tougher training than you two!" You say, as Vegeta walks beside Goku. "As if Whis would increase the training for a girl." Your (e/c) eyes narrow. You were pretty easy to anger at times. "I ain't just a girl, you runt! I'm a Saiyan!" You growl and walk away, burning with anger.

- Time Skip -

You sigh, looking into the pond where you sit beside. Just a girl, you think, scowling as you fold your arms. You stare at your reflection, feeling your fists tighten. Stupid Prince. You wince, hearing footsteps. You sense it is Goku. "(Y/n)."

He sits beside you. "I'm sorry about Vegeta. He's usually like that." You scoff but don't speak for a moment. "I've been training all my life, Goku. And yet he spits at me as if I'm below him," you answer. You hear your friend sigh. "Yeah, he's been that way since he and I became rivals." You smile faintly, but it slips from your face as you look away.

Everything is quiet between you two, until the spiky-haired Saiyan breaks the silence. "(Y/n)... I know what would make you feel better." You grumble, slightly annoyed. "I'm not really in the mood for—" You are cut off when... he kisses you?! You feel your heart pound before he breaks away. "Goku, did you just...?" The goofy warrior chuckles and rubs his head. "S-Sorry. I guess you need it." He blushes and smiles goofily.

     He looks at the ground, but continues. "(Y/n), I don't know how to say this, uh... I... like ya, but... not the way friends do. Um..." You smile and lay a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I know. I... I sorta love you too." His expression changes to it's usual innocence. "So that's what Vegeta was doin'!" That makes you laugh. You tackle him into a hug. "You dork! That's what love is." He smiles happily. "Guess so, (Y/n)!" You then frown at a thought that pops into your head.

"So, is it Kakarot... or Goku?"
