"What are you doing here?" Harry asked as Salem reached her hand out to pull him out of the water the two had landed in. It was dark but the water soaked her hair, scrunching it up as the usual honey color looked a dark, chestnut brown. Her eyes were still so much darker though, even in the night sky it was impossible to miss how dark her eyes were, how evil looking they appeared for someone so precious.

"How should I know that? Do I look like a wizard?" she asked as Harry gave her a look, "Well.. yes, I do, but you know what I mean."

"This is my friends house, i'm not sure Dumbledore was suppose to drop the both of us here." Harry said as Salem looked around the property, the itchy grass rubbing across her legs uncomfortably, causing Salem to slap at her calves.

"Your friends house is the cutest thing i've ever seen." Salem said as she grinned up at it while Harry opened the door for her, the inside making her grin even wider.

"You and the Professor move a lot?" Harry asked as Salem looked around, the warmth and comfort of the home that actually felt like home wrapping her up in a blanket, making her feel safe.

"We never stay anywhere to long, no where to actually call home." Salem said as she heard voices, her face lighting up as Harry nodded for her to come along.

"What? Harry? Harry who?"

"Harry Potter, of course."

"I think i'd know it's Harry Potter was in my house, wouldn't I?"

"What that smell?"

"What are you going on about?"

"Like... pumpkin, caramel..... and pond water?"

"Harry? Did someone say Harry?"

"Me, nosy. Is he up there with you?"

"Of course not. I think i'd know if my best friend was in my room, wouldn't I?"

"Is that a owl I heard? And what is that beautiful new smell?"

"You haven't seen him, have you? Apparently he's wondering about the house."

"With someone new I can imagine, new smells aren't likely around here."

"Really?"

"Really." Harry spoke up, making himself and Salem known as he grinned while Salem examined the photos of the red headed family on the wall.

"Harry!"

"Harry!"

"Hello!"

"What a lovely surprise."

"Why didn't you let us know you were coming?"

"I don't know, Dumbledore."

"Oh! that man. But then, what would we do without him?"

"What a cute little redhead family, Harry, who are-" Salem began as she turned around, pausing as she saw people, looking at the photo again as she smiled, "Oh! You are the cute little redhead family."

"Harry, who's this beauty?" the middle aged woman asked as she welcomed Salem with open arms, hugging her.

"This is Salem, shes a little-" Harry began before he was cut off.

"If your house was a human I'd marry it on the spot." Salem said as she pulled away from the woman, getting a small laugh with a odd look.

"Different." Harry finished his sentence with a smile.

"With a lovely smell, the pond water mixes right in." a girl with dark eyebrows, standing a few feet away spoke as Salem looked to her.

"Woah, what gorgeous facial features you have. Are these real?" Salem asked as she grabbed the girls face, examining her as Harry rubbed his forehead.

"They are, thank you." the girl said with a laugh, not phased by Salem's hands on examination, "I'm Hermione Granger, and this is-"

"A red giant, pleaser to meet you." Salem cut her off, letting go of Hermione to grab the tall redhead boys hand with a shake.

"Ron Weasley." he introduced with a firm hand shake, watching her body shake in the lightest from the amount of force he was shaking her hand with.

"Are the two of you hungry? I could fix something up." the older redhead woman said as she looked between Salem and Harry.

"We're oka-" Harry began before he was one again cut off by the one of only.

"Starving, thank you." Salem said with a sigh of relief as the woman smiled, holding out her hand as Salem took it.

"I can't imagine you've have a home cooked meal with that grandfather of yours." Molly joked as she watched Salem eat away at the homemade meal she fixed for her, more then intended but the teen wasn't complaining.

"Truly, no. We usually do small things, he doesn't know how to cook very well and I.... well I just don't like doing it." Salem laughed as Molly grinned and sat with her, smoothing out her hair that was slowly drying, a pair of Ginnys clothes on her now warm body from the blanket Hermione and Ron wrapped her in.

"I could give the two of you a few recipes, let him learn a thing or two." she offered as Salem looked at her with a grin, mashed potatoes smeared on the side of her face.

"Really? That would be brilliant, truly. He's about as clueless as a house mouse when it comes to all these things. I can't seem to blame him though, he hasn't really done this type of thing since my mom was a kid... can't imagine he was planning to do it again with... well, his granddaughter." Salem spoke as her usual joking, sarcastic attitude flattened a bit about the mention of her mother, Molly also letting her smile fall in the slightest.

"I knew your mother, you know, one of the most lovely ladies i've ever met." Molly said as Salem blinked, shocked.

"You did?" she asked her, never hearing much about her mom and dad from anyone else.

"Taught her a thing or two back in our days." Molly said with a small laugh at the memory, "She did struggle a bit in the magic area."

"Can't say she's the only one, I can barely keep my head on straight while reading all these potions and spells, it's like my brain turns to clay at the bottom of the black sea." Salem spoke while Molly laughed at her unique way of words, rubbing her back as Salem grinned, "I think that's the only thing I had in common with her... she was so different then I am."

"Oh, believe me, the complete opposite actually." Molly said as Salem nodded with a faint smile.

"Everyone always tells me what a monster she was."

"Emilia was no monster, she was only strong, and brave, and a little scary, yes, but it's what your father loved most about her." Molly said as Salem smiled, toying with the ring on her finger, the first time she's heard anyone aside from her Grandfather speak so highly of her mother.

"Now you are a lot like your dad, I can see that. He was a sweet one... you could turn him into a todd and i'm convinced he'd still offer to be your friend." Molly said as Salem looked at her, nodding her head and insisting she went on about the two Salem longed for.

"Now Slytherin and Gryffindor don't mix very well together which is why your mother and father were much a unique couple at Hogwarts. While your mother, still to this day, is considered Slytherin royalty and your father is consider..." Molly trailed off, remember the current statue of Salem's parents.

"A weak Gryffindor." Salem finished for her, hearing the words said to many times about him. Molly nodded sadly, putting her hand on Salem's hand.

"Your father was anything but weak. Sure, he wasn't strong and powerful like your mother was, but he had so much bravery, risking his life to save others... Monroe was anything but weak, don't let anyone tell you differently." Molly said as she gave the teens hand a small squeeze, a soft smile forming on Salem's face as she looked down then back up at her again.

"If they do i'll wring their neck like a wash cloth." Salem said as Molly laughed loudly, clapping her hands on Salem's.
