*(Y/n)'s POV*

The portal takes us to a tower clock inside, and Danny turned us invisible, taking us outside to an old, colonial town. "Cool, it's Thanksgiving!" Tucker said, as we looked to see what year we were in.

"If you knew your history, you would know that this is Salem, Massachusetts back in the 1600s." I said, as we looked at pilgrims. Men wore buckled hats, with black and gray clothes. Women wore bonnets and pale dresses, some holding baskets. "The paranoid villagers used to punish completely innocent people because they thought they were witches."

"How?" Tucker asked.

"Oh, no big deal, really." Sam said.

"Yeah, hey, Sam, didn't they just burn them at the stake?" I asked to clarify, and she nodded at me. We then saw an angry mob holding up a scarecrow. Everyone held either torches or pitchforks as they made their way down, making a commotion. They piled firewood together in the middle of town, and posted up the scarecrow.

"Well done, Joshua." one of the pilgrims said, holding up the hourglass. "That was your best time yet."

"I'm a big barbecue fan, but that's going too far." Tucker said.

"Let's bail." Danny said. "The longer we stay, the more chances we have of messing something up." He looked around before taking my hand and noticing that Sam and I were already gone. "(Y/n)?" He looked at us in fear.

"Can't you people get a life?!" Sam asked, and I started to agree until I stepped forward into a trap.

"Hey!" I shouted, and my backpack fell off me. I was trapped inside a net and I was moving around, trying to free myself.

"(Y/n)!" Danny, Sam, and Tucker screamed.

"Let me go!" I said, "I'm not a witch! Somebody get me out of here!"

The villagers didn't say much of anything but held their pitchforks high towards me. "Don't listen to her!" A voice said amongst the crowd. "She is a witch!" I looked to see a man with a ponytail remove his hat and I looked at Vlad in full view. He raised up his pitchfork at me, threateningly. "And you know what we do to witches around here."

Moments later, villagers brought me down and tied me against the stake. Then, they tossed me into a cart to be carried off by a horse just so they could burn me later. I watched as the entire village in town yelling horrible things at me.

*Third person POV*

"The portal's going to close soon!" Danny said to Sam and Tucker.  "How the heck did Vlad find us, anyway?!"

"Bingo!" Sam said as her eyes narrowed.

"Tracking device!" Tucker pointed outward and the trio looked at (Y/n)'s backpack with the robotic bug blinking at them.

"I'm not a witch!" (Y/n) angrily shouted from afar. They saw that she was more terrified than angry, as they piled up wood in the middle of town. They continued to tie her up. "Are you people that paranoid!? Oh wait, Salem...1600s...Duh."

Danny handed Sam the scroll, and went over to go save (Y/n). "Right on time..." Vlad said. "Behold, an evil spirit comes to rescue his Dark Queen!"

The crowd started clamoring together and (Y/n) frowned at them. Then, all of a sudden, another pilgrim appeared before her and had a basket full of dark, red flowers inside. He looked strangely familiar, and having the face of Danny's dad. "Stand back, I pray thee!" He shouted. "For I, John Fenton Nightingale, Salem's greatest Witch whacker shall vanquish this demon!"

"Deja vu..." Tucker mumbled from the sidelines.

(Y/n) looked around to see her being surrounded by the flowers he spread out in a circle. "This should vanquish quite nicely!" Suddenly, the red smoke emerged from the flowers and she started to panic.

"Are you kidding with-?" Danny asked, but he flew right into the smoke and started screaming in pain that shocked (Y/n). She looked down at him worriedly as he fell on his back. "What was- what was that?"

They looked over to John who made a sandwich out of the flowers as he smiled, "And it doth make a tasty treat!" He chomped down on it and said, "Ahh, my innards are now ghost free!"

Vlad applauded, and said, "Well done, John Fenton Nightingale." He crouched down to Danny and glared at him. "It's called Blood Blossom, dear boy, an ancient anti-ghost remedy. Sort of like a primitive, Specter Deflector. It's delightfully quaint!" He grabbed Danny with both hands, hauling him off the ground. "Observe! The spirit is vanquished!"

Danny trembled in pain as Vlad shoved him right through the barrier, and started screaming. He writhed in pain on the ground. "Danny!" (Y/n) shouted, then she looked over to see Sam and Tucker hurrying over to help.

"I thanketh thee!" Vlad said, snatching the map away from Sam's hands, but they were too busy to notice.

"Tucker, the map!" Sam shouted as they turned quickly around.

Tucker picked up the backpack, and threw the robotic bug at Vlad before he flew off in his ghost form. "Oh no, you don't!" Tucker said.

"Tucker, Sam, get Danny out of the circle, please!" (Y/n) shouted and they turned their attention back to Danny continuously screaming. Danny tried to sit upright, but struggled as the red smoke continued to surround him. Tucker and Sam pulled him out of the ring, but the same thing continued.

"It's still hurting him!" Sam said.

"Oh gosh, okay." (Y/n) muttered, trying to think. "Guys, the flowers, get rid of it!"

"How!?" They asked.

She panicked, unable to think straight, until she said, "Tucker, your cast iron stomach! Or Sam, whichever! Guys, you have to eat all the Blood Blossoms!"

"What?!" Tucker asked in horror.

"Ha!" Sam said. "He's never eaten a vegetable in his entire life, (Y/n)!"

(Y/n) looked down at Danny who's eyes were shut tight as he continued shuddering in pain. "Hurry, you two! There's no time to argue, please, there's not much time!" She shouted at them. Then, they both crawled around the circle. Sam had no problems eating the flower blossoms, but she slowed down just to be satisfied of watching Tucker eat the flowers.

Finally, the red smoke started subsiding from Danny's body and he collapsed from exhaustion. "Thanks you two," Danny sighed as they met up with him. Tucker fell to the ground.

"You guys owe me for this one." Tucker said, and burped loudly. Suddenly, the trio was surrounded by pitchforks by the townspeople and they yelped. "And you can pay me back right now!"

Danny grabbed Tucker and Sam by their arms and flew up and away from the crowd. "Danny!" (Y/n) said, and he put Sam with Tucker in the other hand. He grabbed her shoulder and turned them both invisible. The four of them flew away from the clock tower and made their escape.

*(Y/n)'s POV*

When we landed inside the clock tower, Danny set us down. "Vlad has the map, he could be anywhere!" Danny said.

"Fear not!" Tucker said, pulling out his PDA and started pressing buttons. "All I have to do is calibrate my PDA to his tracking device frequency, and we can follow him wherever he goes."

Danny wrapped his arm around my waist, and grabbed the other two in the other before flying through the portal. I rested my head on Danny's shoulder as the four of us flew through the ghost zone together. "I'm curious to see how a body that's never eaten any roughage reacts when 30 pounds of it is suddenly introduced." Sam said with a smirk as Tucker was tapping away at his PDA.

"Don't get your hopes up, Sam." Tucker grinned. "We Foleys can handle anything." Suddenly, Tucker's stomach rumbled under Danny's hand. "And we'll talk about it more once I hit a restroom."

Sam looked over to see the PDA making an alarm sound. "He's in there!" She said, pointing towards a roman arch-like portal. We jumped through and landed inside a colosseum.

"Whoa..." I said, "We're in Rome!"

"They have bathrooms, right?" Tucker asked as he held his stomach.

Then, we heard the heralds blowing horns from the stands to make an announcement. A flag of Vlad's silhouette head appeared. "All hail Vladius Plasmiudius!"

"You're alive, (Y/n)?! Unbelievable!" Vlad overhead laughed at us.

"Not as unbelievable as this! What have you done here, Plasmius?" Danny asked, as he held my hand in his. The four of us clenched our hands into fists angrily.

"Welcome to my destiny, Daniel!" Vlad said, "It seems I was meant to rule after all! Funny, all I had to do was float a bit and these Romans hailed me as a deity!" We all looked over to a statue of Vlad in a toga outfit, surrounded by torches made out of gold.

"Stay as long as you want." Danny said. "Just give me the map, you don't understand how powerful it is!"

"Your boyfriend dares lecture me about power?!" Vlad turned to the guards and said, "Release the lions!"

Four gates opened and lions popped out from their cages, and cornered us. My hands were placed over Danny's shoulders as we backed up together.

Tucker, out of everyone in this situation, said, "Now I really have to go to the bathroom!"
