*(Y/n)'s POV*

A clear tube dropped down to us, and sucked us upward. Danny opened the doorway and a cloud of smoke started filling the area. We started coughing, and followed him out of the fridge. "Man..." Tucker said, looking at Danny. "Your dad really needs to get rid of that ham!"

I looked out the windows to see the agents using grappling hooks to haul themselves up to us. "What are we going to do now?" I asked and Danny walked up behind me.

"It's time to lock up for the night!" Danny said, running over to the control panel.

Metal shutters closed them off way before they made their way through. Then, we looked up to see them cutting a hole with a laser from the ceiling. Danny hurried over to the fridge and opened the door to find the ham. He pressed the "Emergency Op Center release" button off to the side, and the ground started shaking. All of the devices retracted from the outside, and we watched as the Op Center turned itself into a blimp, knocking all of the leftover agents off.

"The Fenton Blimp?" I asked curiously as we looked out the windows together.

"What are we going to do? Bore them off our tails in a low-speed chase?" Sam commented.

"Not quite." Danny grinned, and grabbed the ham from the plate to reveal another red button. He pressed it, and I looked outward to see the Guys in White chasing us down in their jetpacks. Suddenly, I noticed the balloon falling off and I panicked, until engines roared and turned this whole thing into a jet.

I hurried to sit down in the passenger seat, next to Sam and Tucker. Danny was driving and we held on to dear life as we nearly dove into Casper High. "We're going to destroy the school!" Tucker panicked.

"I don't know what to do!" Danny said.

"Do something!" I exclaimed out of fear, gripping the sides of my seat.

"Wait!" He ended up pressing an "Auto-Jack" button and ran behind my chair.

"What are you doing!?" I asked, looking up at him. "There's no fourth seat?"

"I'll be fine!" Danny assured.

He held on to my chair and braced for impact. An inflatable version of Danny's dad appeared, holding his hands on the steering wheel. "Auto-Jack activated!" a recording of his voice said. "Please buckle up, and pass the punch!"

The three of us buckled up quickly. There were only three seats available, and Danny kept his hands on my shoulders, planting his feet on the ground. The four of us were screaming, and his dad yanked the wheel to the right. We headed straight for town and saw an oncoming truck which we managed to avoid at the last second.

"It's after five!" I complained as we looked over to the windows again. The Guys in White were down below us in their own jets. "Why can't they quit like every other government employee?"

Danny transformed into his ghost form and hurried over to the windows beside me. He panted, using all of his power and strength to turn us and the whole jet intangible.

"Danny, we've lost them yesterday. You can stop now, and honestly, I'm worried about you." I pleaded, placing my hand on his shoulder. He turned visible and so did everything else. Danny fell out of exhaustion and I caught him. The both of us collapsed to the ground. "Danny..."

"We should contact both your parents." Tucker said, as I worriedly looked up at them. I let Danny's head rest against my shoulder, and helped him up.

"Tell them what, exactly?" I slowly asked.

"Yeah, tell them I'm sorry, and please don't rip me apart molecule by molecule?" Danny managed to say. "Besides, if they have anything to say..." His expression softened and I saw him looking sad. "They can always contact me and (Y/n)."

I lowered my head down, and wanted to apologize to him again for all the trouble I've caused him. I wanted to let him know that he didn't have to be with me, if this was going to put everyone in danger...

"Danny, I-" I started to say after Sam and Tucker looked at me.

We heard the communications console beeping, and Danny turned us around to face the giant screen on the wall. "Here we go..." Danny said, typing in information on the console.

Freakshow's head appeared before them. "OH," he said with an evil smile. "Hello. I hope I'm not interrupting the worst day of your life ever, but it seems...I need your help."

"You miserable freak." Danny said.

"Why can't you just leave us alone?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows together in anger.

"Yeah, and why would I ever help you?!"

"I'm sorry," Freakshow said. "Did I say "need"? I meant, demand!" He gave out a hearty laugh, and gestures to a cage that had all of our parents together behind bars, including Jazz.

"He's got my parents!" Sam and Tucker gasped.

"He's got all of our parents!" I exclaimed. "Mom, dad!"

"Why, look." Freakshow said. "I have something you want, and you know the location of something I want. My gems...which you four fools will retrieve if you ever want to see your families alive again...Oh, and just to keep it dramatic, you all have three days."

"Three days?" I asked, and removed Danny's arm from my shoulder. I turned to look at everyone. "But do we even know where to start looking?"

Sam picked up her book and looked through it. "Y'know, school being out or not, you two really should listen more." Sam said, but I looked at her in confusion. "Guys, we're the ones who hid the gems, remember? Which means they're safe and sound at Gothapalooza!"

"Except...I was thinking about the Comic Book convention." Tucker said.

"And I was thinking about the Space Center." Danny and I said together in unison, then blushed. "Wait, you did?"

"You've been talking about it for...well, ever." I smiled at him. "And, honestly, I wanted to go with you, too."

"Looks like we're going to get that cross country trip after all, lovebirds." Tucker said.

"Starting here." Danny said and a map dropped down beside him.

"Auto-Jack setting new course for Cape Canaveral, Florida!" the recording of his dad's voice said.

*Third Person POV*

"No fair!" Tucker said, pouting in his seat. "How come we get to go to both your places first?"

"Does it matter?" (Y/n) asked, crossing her arms.

"Unfortunately, we're not here to have fun." Danny said with his hands shoved into his pockets. "We're here to look for the Reality gems."

"Which according to Freakshow's book, are activated by touch." Sam pointed out.

"Great!" (Y/n) said with a smile. "So as long as nobody's found it yet, maybe this will be easy? Because, uhm, well, it doesn't look easy to me." Danny, Sam, and Tucker stood next to her as she looked out the window to see a space shuttle turn into a monster, flying straight for them. "It's never easy, is it?" She asked Danny with a frown.

The four of them were screaming for what felt like a billionth time the past couple of days. The jet made a quick U-turn with the space shuttle following after it. The monstrous space shuttle caught up to the jet and latched on with its bared teeth. It lifted the jet upward, causing everyone inside to roll to the back of the aircraft.

"Going ghost!" Danny shouted as he caught (Y/n) in his arms. He stood up from her and placed his hands on the ceiling to make the jet intangible.

The rest sat upright and as soon as they were free from the shuttle's grasp, he flew through the ceiling to fire a few ghost rays at the shuttle, but watched it do nothing. The shuttle roared, and rammed through Danny who grabbed onto the windows. He looked through the windows to find the Gem of Life sitting on a chair, glowing bright red. The space shuttle then threw him off and he found himself falling to the ground, helplessly.

"Danny," (Y/n) spoke through the radio as they landed nearby him safely. "Go, get the gem!"

He quickly flew up to the space shuttle again, and held on to the fin of it. The shuttle tried to shake him off, but he held onto it desperately. He tried to jump forward and grab onto the outer metal haul, but ripped off a piece of it with his hands. "I've always wanted to ride on the space shuttle." Danny said. "Just not on the outside!" Then, Danny flew up to the windshield, to turn intangible. He reached inside the windshield and grabbed the gem from the chair. "Yes!" he cheered. However, the space shuttle reverted back into its inanimate form and dropped from the sky.

Sam, Tucker and (Y/n) looked up to see the space shuttle heading down towards them. "We had to go to the lovebirds' place first," Tucker said, glaring at (Y/n).

Danny phased through the space shuttle and looked through all the controls as he sat down in the pilot's seat. "Okay, I've done this simulation a million times on my computer..." He muttered to himself, grabbing at the steering wheel. He started pressing buttons and flicking switches to activate the landing gear from what he remembered. Danny pressed the pedals on the ground hard, and started to pull the wheel up.

From the jet down below, the trio started holding onto each other and closed their eyes out of fear. Danny pressed another button after narrowly missing the jet, and released the parachutes. Danny flew out from the shuttle. "Ladies and gentlemen, the eagle has landed in tact!" he exclaimed happily, wiping his hands clean.

"Attention, Daniel Fenton." A voice said on the intercom, and he looked up surprised. "AKA Danny Phantom. Give yourself up."
