Goob

--------------------

"I'll be here for you if you need me!"

For your special depression: Lashing out

Goob may not exactly be the best with handling emotions -such as your case-, but when he sees you being on a knifes edge, his first instinct is to hug. Tragically, however; you weren't in the mood for one. You ended up lashing out at him, causing to reel back in a hurt you've never seen from him before.

You didn't really mean to, you weren't really thinking about it. Your first instinct was just lashing out because you didn't really know what to do.

He remains undeterred, however (somewhat). He can't afford to be all hurt in his own emotions while you're going into a turmoil of your own! He puts your needs above his for a time being just so he can try to understand what makes this new you tick. Whether or not he needs to push or back off. It's something that he's surprisingly good at keeping under the radar, because that goofy smile is something that he's really good at hiding behind.

He's not super analytical. So he doesn't exactly get it right the first few times, but he can sense progress when it comes to you. He can see that you're not lashing out when he does or doesn't do certain things. Putting himself in danger causes you to freak out and... y'know. But when he does things like just hanging around you but not being too imposing, he'll notice you feeling a bit more at ease.

Goob still loves to hug; it's in his nature. So he'll slowly try to ease you into it unless you firmly reject it. But if you don't, he's relieved that your able to calm yourself down enough to where you don't feel the need to lash out as a defense mechanism.

He often holds your hand when you're about to do a thing, giving you reassuring smiles and doing his usual antics, just now being slightly more cautious to make you calmer and at ease. Your able to enjoy yourself and have a Goob that does random things.

Vee

"You're pushing yourself too hard. Take a break."

For your special depression: Overworking yourself

Vee doesn't really notice it at first. What she did notice was that you were starting to help around cleaning the place, much like Tisha, or just helping out Vee with setting up props or helping her move around things she'll need for her next show. At first, she was proud of you, happy even. You were doing things that you weren't doing before, putting more effort into things you haven't before. It was kind of inspiring to her.

But... You didn't exactly stop either.

It'll take a minute for it to click to her. You just never seemed to slow down, always doing things with a blank expression on your face. She noted that your movements became sluggish and slowed down but never stopped unless you were literally about to fall apart. That's when it clicks that you were starting to overwork yourself to cope with Gardenview shutting down.

Because you literally only started acting like this the second it closed down.

Dandy might have been happy that someone else was helping keep the place in shape, Tisha might have appreciated the extra help, but Vee wasn't having it. She'll grab your wrist and insist that you take a breather, or just a entire break in general. If you attempt to refuse, she gets extremely pouty but doesn't really stop you.

I lied.

She does try to stop you by constantly and persistently getting in your way of whatever you're trying to do. Maybe you'll get angry about it, but she doesn't really care. She has experience with something like this, except in her case it just caused her to reboot instead of literally falling apart to exhaustion. Regardless, it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience.

Eventually, when you do stop and take a break (probably because Vee refused to let you do anything else) is where she relaxes herself a little bit and that stern demeanor, she had towards you softens a lot. She still looks annoyed, but it's almost barely noticeable.

She encourages you to take breaks constantly, so you prevent a burnout. She doesn't let you refuse; dropping whatever she was doing just to walk over to you and force you to sit down for a minute.

"Slow down for a minute, I mean it."
