(Y/n)'s pov

We are all sitting in Professor Glynda Goodwitch's combat class, watching poor Jaune getting beaten up by Cardin Winchester, the leader of Team CRDL and the bully of Beacon Academy. Oh how I hate bullies!

Jaune was trying to land a hit on Cardin but it proved to be useless since Cardin looked more experienced than him. He tried to block his mace with his sheild but Cardin's blows were too powerful and his aura was slowly depleting. With a hit of Cardin's mace, Jaune fell down. Cardin was going to hit Jaune again but was stopped when the lights were turned on and Professor Glynda stepped right in. Hmph, I could tell that bully was trying to drain Jaune's aura to the ground. If this were a real battle, I would have stepped right in despite still recovering from my previous fight.

"Cardin that's enough." Professor Glynda stopped him as Cardin pointed his mace at the ground, resting  upon it. "Students, as you can see, Mr. Arc's aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament style duel, this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fitfor battle and that the official may call the match." Professor Glynda said to us students then turned to Jaune and said something to him. "Remember everyone! The Vytal Festival is only a few months away. It wont be long before students from other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Thise who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale." Professor Glynda announced making all of us very excited and after Professor Glynda's speech, the bell rang signaling lunch time! My favorite part of the day!

"We should TOTALLY compete!" I told my teammates. "Wow! We've been friends for so long that we were not aware of the telepathy forming between us! In other words, you read my mind!" Harley exclaimed with excitement. "We should go now." Tabitha said with her usual monotone voice. "Y-yeah, not only that the lunch line will get longer, b-but we're running out of t-tables." Reggina continued her statement to which Tabitha nodded. "Well then, let's go!" I said cheerfully and grabbed Harley's hand to which she grabbed Reggina's hand who looked unsure at first then held Tabitha's hand softly still not sure if she should do that. Tabitha then ran as fast as she chould dragging all of us towards the cafeteria since she's the only one who knew which way to go. "Wah! Sh-should we really run around the halls?" Reggina said. "You said we're running out of tables to sit in!" Harley yelled out with her usual smile. "I g-guess it's my fault then..." Reggina said sadly. "My bad."

We finally arrived at our destination and luckily, teams RWBY and JNPR saved us seats. "Hey guys! Sit with us!" Ruby called out cheerfully while waving her hands around. "Nora was gonna tell us a story!"

We gladly accepted their invitation as we finally let go of each other.

"Oh! I love stories!" I exclaimed quite childishly. "What kind of story?"

"Ah, ah, ah! You'll have to listen to the story! Otherwise, it won't be as exciting! Now listen!" Nora sang then cleared her throat trying to give her storytelling a dramatic effect. Yang was already listening, Blake and Tabitha were both reading a book, Miss Weiss was filing her nails, Ruby and Pyrrha were both looking at Jaune worriedly as he just plays with his food with a sad expression, Reggina was listening but not so excited... but she was still listening! And Harley and I were both digging our hands on a bag of candy, giving some to Tabitha, while waiting for Nora ro start telling her tale.

"So, there we were in the middle of the night." Nora started. "It was day." Ren corrected her. "We were surrounded by ursi." Ren correcting Nora continued.

"They were beowolves."

"Dozens of them!"

"Two of them."

"But they were no match! And in the end... Ren and I took them down and made a boatload of lien selling ursa skin rugs!" Nora finished. Me and Harley gasped in awe with stars in our eyes. "You actually believe her?" Reggina sweat-dropped. "Ah... she's been having this reoccuring dream for nearly a month now..." Ren said.

"Jaune... are you okay?" Pyrrha voiced her concern. "Uh? Oh, yeah! Why?" Jaune asked. "It's just that you seem a little... not okay..." Ruby said. "Eh, guys, I'm fine... seriously, look!" Jaune smiled while holding her thumbs up and laughing nervously.

We all turned to another table where Team CRDL was bullying a bunny faunus which I frowned to. "Jaune, Cardin's been picking on you since the first week of school." Pyrrha said. "Who? Cardin Winchester? Nah... he just likes to mess around, you know? Practical jokes!" Jaune said. How could he be defending his own bully right now? "He is a bully." Ruby said. "Oh please... name one time he's 'bullied' me..." Jaune said making air quotes while nervously laughing. "That one time he 'unintentionally' knocked your scroll to the ground when you were minding your own business?" Harley said raising a brow. "He opened up your sheild when your passing through the door leading you getting stuck in there until you can manage to get your sheild off?" Tabitha said looking up from her book. "Oh! That one time when Professor Goodwitch was talking about the rocket lockers, then he shoved you in and you went far away!" I said. "I didn't land far from the school..." Jaune said. "Jaune, you know if you ever need help you can just ask..." Pyrrha offered. "OOH! We'll break his legs!" Nora exclaimed. "Guys, really, it's fine! Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone." Jaune said as we turned to the table where the bunny faunus was sitting and now Cardin was pulling on her cute bunny ears. The bunny faunus was begging him to stop while Cardin just kept pulling on her ears while his team just laughs. The faunus finally got out of Cardin's grasp and ran away to eat somewhere else.

"Atrocious. I can't stand people like him." Pyrrha frowned. "He's not the only one." Blake said. "It must be hard to be a faunus. By the way, how come Reggina never gets bullied by Team CRDL?" Yang asked. "(Y/n) gave Cardin and his group of low-lives a major beat up when she found them bullying Reggina!" Harley smiled. Wow, Harley must really hate Team CRDL. She has never called anyone a low life before. "Well, Harley threatened them that if they wont stop bullying Reggina, she'll put them in a life-long coma!" I said pointing to Harley. "That explains it..." Yang sweat-dropped.

Jaune stood up and sighed with his empty tray and I noticed Cardin looking at him with bad intent. Something bad is going to happen...
