Ray had finished his breakfast and I had still half eaten mine, but I didn't want anymore. The other boy didn't even touch his. "What's your name by the way?" I asked him, as we all stood up to go. "F-Frank, I think you're Gerard?" He asked. Frank, that's a nice name. "Yeah, how did you know?" I asked as we both put our rubbish away and headed out the hallway. I didn't know where anything was. "Ray told me." Of course he did, Ray talks a lot.
"Do you wonna, um. Come to my room?" Frank asked and almost tripped over his feet. I giggled and nodded.
He led the way, of course and we stopped at number 21. Oh, he's five more away from me. Cool.
I walked inside as he held the door open for me. "Thanks." I whispered. "How do you like it here?" He asked me as we both sat on his bed. I shrugged then smiled. He blushed and giggled. "What room are you in?" He asked another question. "I'm five more away from you, sixteen." He smiled at me and sat back so his head and back were against the wall.
"If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?" I looked at Frank with a twisted smile. He looked at me and then he looked away. He seemed very aware of why he was here but he also looked very depressed. "Sorry, you don't have-" he cut me off by shaking his head. I didn't know what to do.
"I have depression anxiety. I was also threatening to kill myself, because my father hates that I'm- ... It doesn't matter." He looked scared to tell me something. "It's okay, you know? You can tell me anything if you want, it'll only be between you and me." I said carefully as I pet him on the shoulder.
"My father hates me because I'm gay. And my mother joins in with him." He leaned his head on my shoulder like he already knew me and I felt awkward for a little. I slowly stroked his hair to comfort him because it must be so hard.
After a while he was still on my shoulder, "you know. There's nothing wrong with being gay. You're still a person!" I said comforting. He got off of my shoulder and looked at me, he smiled. "They just don't understand that. They think it's disgusting." Frank said looking into space. A tear streamed from one eye and fell on his knee. I shuffled over next to him closer than I was before and wrapped my arm around him. "They should be proud of you, you're such a lovely person. You're so loving and friendly." I said to him, holing him tighter. He giggled and said, "you are too."
