It was a long day but you knew you had heaps of exams coming up so you decide to go to the library after school and study for a while because it was nice and quiet and easy to study. You put your bags down at a free table and go looking for a book.

After a few minutes of searching you spot the exact book you are looking for, it was right on the top shelf, there was no way you could reach that.

You jump a few times waving your arms around trying to knock the book out of its place.

"Here let me help you" you hear a strong, masculine voice say behind you.

You always see him around school. He is so cute but you have never talked to him.

"Oh thank you" you blush. You probably looked so stupid jumping around like mad slapping the book shelf

"Here you are... oh nice I'm studying exactly the same thing" he says looking at the book

You look up at him with a sparkle in your eyes.

"Maybe we can study together sometime?" he offers

"shhhhhh" on old lady in glasses hushes you both

He smiles at the ground and returns to his table that was directly opposite yours. You sit back down at your table and open the book he helped you get down but peep over the top so you could get another glimpse of his face, we was kinda cute.

You catch him do the same but you try and mask it with a smile. He laughs in return.

He puts his book over his face then takes it off revealing a funny face and does it again. You keep "silent" giggling at him.

He puts the book down and packs up his things and stands up to leave his table.

He can't be leaving you were just flirting right? Maybe you had something in your teeth?

He walks over to your table and sits in the seat next to you and slides a note over to you.

It says;

Do you want me to put your book back?

You scribble something back;

Yes please

He smiles at you and jerks his head towards the isle of books telling you to go with him.

You clutch the book in your arms and follow him

"So uh do you want to grab a coffee?" he asks slotting the book back into its place

"Yeah that sounds great!" you say a little too loudly

The old lady appears and tells you to be quiet again.

You both giggle quietly to yourselves and you pack up your things and he takes your spare hand and leads you to the cafe downstairs were you flirt and eventually exchange numbers.
