"spence, your phone is ringing," you said, causing him to sit up from being on you as he let go from the crook of your neck. "do you want me to answer it?" you asked as he nodded, going back to what he was doing as you reached over blindly to find it while tightening your grip in his hair which caused him to let go and look at you.

"what is it?" he asked as you shook your head, taking this moment to look over and find his phone. 

"it's morgan," you said as reid suddenly took the phone from you and answered it as you furrowed your brows in confusion. he continued to hold onto you as he spoke to morgan before hanging up and putting the phone down, about to go back to doing what he was doing but you stopped him.

"are you embarrassed of me?" you asked, looking into his eyes as he looked up at you. 

he sighed. "_____, they keep asking me about you. they want to know about us and i want to keep us a secret for right now. you are my favorite person in this world," he said as you continued to look at him. "and i just want you to be mine."

"spence, i am yours," you replied. "do you think that another guy is going to come steal me off my feet?"

"well, i mean, that waiter the other day was trying to hit on you," he said as you smiled at him sweetly, your fingers gently running through his hair as you leaned down and pressed a kiss to his cheek. 

"you shouldn't be worried about me," you told him as reid picked you from up off the bed as you let out a laugh before he laid you down on the bed once more as he pressed a kiss to your lips. 

"i need to get to work," he said softly before walking off to the closet to get his work clothes ready. you sat up, looking over at the closet before hearing his phone go off. you leaned over and picked it up to see a text from morgan about wanting to talk about reid's girlfriend- you.

you put it back where it was as he came back out changed into his work clothes. 

"i'll see you after the case, spence," you said as you smiled at him, pressing a kiss to his cheek as he smiled at you sweetly, rubbing his thumb across your cheek. 

"i love you," he said softly as you smiled at him sweetly. 

"i love you too, spence," you replied before he left to get to work.

when reid got back from the case with the team, he and morgan were walking to the main bau conference room while morgan was talking to him. 

"look, if you've got someone new in your life to talk to, i'd just like to know who she is," morgan said as they opened the door while you stood there talking with garcia. "cause she's gotta be one hell of a woman to keep up with you."

"one hell of a woman she is," garcia said, causing reid and morgan to turn around to notice you standing there as you gave reid a small smile. he nodded. 

"this is _____?" he asked, looking over at reid from looking at you. 

reid nodded, tightening his hold on his bag as you smiled over at morgan. 

"you're derrick morgan, right?" you asked, tucking some hair behind your ear as reid felt his heartbeat speeding up. he cleared his throat out of nerves a few times as he nodded. 

"so you've heard about me?" he asked, giving you a smile as you looked over at reid who was uncomfortably shifting his gaze to many places. you reached out, grabbing reid's arm as you pulled him close to you. he took his hand out of his pocket as he intertwined his hand with yours. 

"yeah, uh, spence hasn't really introduced me to any of the other-" you began but reid leaned down quickly and pressed his lips to yours so that you wouldn't expose his insecurity as morgan and garcia shared a quick glance before he let go and you looked off to the side, licking your lips momentarily as you let out a sigh as your hand went back to his. 

"sorry," reid said. "but we have to go."

morgan nodded, saying goodbye to you as well as garcia saying bye to you. 

when reid got you out of the room, you looked up at him in confusion. 

"spence," you muttered. "are you-"

he pressed his lips back onto yours, a little harder than you thought he was going to as you let go and suddenly nodded. 

"oh, oh! you're jealous of mor-" you began but reid kissed you once again as you smiled to yourself before letting go. "you, spencer reid, are jealous that i would leave you for a co-worker when you should know that you are my first and only boyfriend and you took my vir-" you began but reid sighed once more, pressing another kiss to your lips. 

"spence," you said, looking up at him as he stared back down at you. "why do you worry?" 

"_____, i know when a woman finds a man attractive because of the way that they look at them," he replied. "i just want you to keep that look for me."

you smiled at him. "my starry eyed looks are only for you, spence. considering that i met you one day while you were at a bar with, i'm assuming is morgan now that i've seen him, i think it's safe to say that you are my boyfriend and my only boyfriend."

he pressed a kiss to your temple before letting go and looking down at you. 

"do you remember the first thing you said to me?" you asked as reid kept you close to him.

"just so you know, i've never really had a girlfriend," he told you as you smiled up at him.

"and then you continued to ramble about how you had never really talked to a woman who was as pretty as i was and you asked me about my favorite things while also talking about wondering if you were bothering me," you told him as you smiled. "but you were so cute that i just continued to let you talk."

"i still don't get how you said yes to a date with me after everything i rambled about," he admitted as you laughed a little. 

"it was cute how nervous you were," you said as you heard someone call reid's name as you looked over to see a girl walking up to the two of you. 

"hey, spence, rossi wants to know if- is this ______?" she asked as reid nodded, looking down at you. you smiled at her, instinctively intertwining your hand into reid's as he smiled to himself. 

"it is," he responded. 

"nice to finally meet you! i'm jennifer, j.j. is what the team calls me," she said as you smiled at her as she continued her question. "but actually since the two of you are here, rossi wanted to invite the team to his house and you are both invited."

you looked up at reid, waiting for him to say something. 

"yeah, sure," he responded, tightening his hold on your hand as she nodded, giving the two of you one last smile before turning around and walking off to meet rossi to tell him the answer.
