"So, my child. What do you think will happen to you?"

Glitch blinked, staring at the tall woman infront of him. Looking around, he now realizes that he's in a white room. Or atleast it was a room. It's hard to tell when there's no corners.

"...What do you mean?" He responds, the tall woman giggled "I'm asking what you think your destiny is." She asked.

"Heh. It's obvious to what going to happen to me. I'll live my entire life out. I'm not just going to suddenly die. I've still got people I care about." He grinned closing his eyes, suddenly he felt a sharp pain behind his skull, making him stumble to the floor.

"Then it is up to you on whether or not you keep that destiny."

WAKE UP

! ! !

"Error... Please..." Night shook his figure, gaining only nothing as a response. Hunter kept covering fire, G was now focused on Hunter. Leaving the two in the middle of the firefight.

"Sir! Pull him over here, it's too danger-- AH!" Hunter fell back, grasping his shoulder. He laid down for a moment before grabbing his gun despite the pain "Damn it, I'll cover you two!" He shouted, continuing his act towards G.

Ink noticed how much of a bad spot he was in, and decided that he should escape on his own and regroup with his own party. Teleporting beside Dream, he took his arm forcefully and pulled him up "Get up. We're getting out of here." He tells him and Dream shook his head repeatedly "N-No! Stop pulling me It hurts! Please!"

When Error appeared in front of the two with his hands at the ready, Ink stared at him before moving Dream in front of him "Oh come on Error, you'd never hurt Dream now would you?" Ink stood behind Dream who was crying, holding his hand "W-What's ev... e-even going on...?" He whimpered, Error raises a finger and pulls Dream away "I'd like him to stay put, t-that's what."

Error tied him up against the wall, Dream winced glancing down to see his bleeding hand. He struggled "E-Error! P-Please let me go! I won't d-do anything!" He pleads, Error ignored him as he attacked Ink.

. . .

"Damn it, we're getting nowhere. The trails of bullets suddenly cut off!"

"Then be a good lad and do something about it!"

"Like you're doing something!"

The four skeletons stopped on a roof, Blue teleporting in last. Nightmare scoured the area. It couldn't have been by the hotel, the place was filled with people.

Suddenly, a wall of ink had appeared. Creating a black barrier the shook off the light of the sun. Visible for anyone to see.

"There they are. On me you two."

. . .

Dream's eyes lingered to his bow that was sat there nearby. He pained and tried to make it teleport to him. He failed doing that.

"Dream!"

Blue teleported in front of him, seeing his current state and his hand. He covered his mouth for a moment as he created a bone "I'll get you out..." He mumbled, cutting the strings.

When he did, Dream fell to the floor. Holding his hand he ushered it to Blue "Please help me... My magic is drained somehow..." He begged, Blue nodded "I'll do what I can!" He took the others hand and saw a glow inside.

"There's... a glowing bullet...?" He stared at it, Dream glances at it and nodded "T-That must be what's b-blocking my magic...! Pull it out...! I need to heal myself...!" He hissed, his hand twitching excessively.

A string went forward swiftly, cutting Ink's cheek. Dark substance immediately came pouring out. Ink jumped swiping his paint brush, a rush of purple paint covering the area where Error once stood.

Ink reached for something in his utility belt, which was one of his vials. Error nabbed the vial from him with a string and slammed it to the floor, it broke into pieces and the substance spilled.

''Really Error?'' Ink eyed the broken vial, it was the last one he had. His paintbrush at the ready, changing the color of the paint used into red. He was going to try and blind Error. But before he could do that, a string shot out cutting his cheek, ink like blood came pouring out.

Ink huffed, holding his cheek jumping up, swiping his brush to create a tall barrier between the two "I can't leave the timeline during combat. My magic is unstable because of the act I did... That was my last magic vial... I need to somehow get clear--" He was suddenly hit on the back, Ink flew forward as he flipped, landing properly.

"Nightmare? I thought you were over there." Ink remarked, feeling the crack on his backbone. Nightmare on the other hand grinned "So here's where you've been fighting. Prepare to die, Creator!" He screeched, Dust and Horror appearing next to him.

Ink was tied up, Error stood on top of the barrier with his hand up. The strings connecting to it "I've g-got him!"

"Wait... Wait a minute..." Ink looks back at Error and Nightmare who was moving closer and closer while he was trying to free himself, his paintbrush on the floor. "Fuck you and your waiting." He sneered, a tentacle stiffening.

CRACK

"Ah..." Ink spat out ink, glancing at the tentacle that had impaled him through his chest. Looking up slowly, he stared at Nightmare "You... You don't have to do this." He mumbled.

Another tentacle stabbed him through the shoulder, Ink coughed out even more ink.

"Please... Mercy..." He whispered, one of his pupils turning into a yellow circle and the other a purple square. Nightmare smiled widely "My jokes are better than yours." He impaled his arm.

Dust and Horror could only watch, their expressions were wary.

The tentacle was pulled out of Ink's chest, his eyes were already half closed. That was until he was stabbed again in a different part of his chest, Ink widens his eyes as he was basically puking ink out "S-Stop..."

CRACK

"You want more, huh?!" Nightmare wraps his tentacle around his leg, snapping it in half. Throwing the part aside as one of Ink's eyes close, he panted "No more... Please..." He whispered, slowly looking down.

Nightmare stood infront of him and raises his head up to face him "I'm up here fuckhead." He tells him, a tentacle under his neck. Ink was breathing slowly now, his stare at Nightmare intensified.

"You can go... kill yourselves."

CRACK

His neck was cut, his head falling to the floor beside his body. Dust ran up and stabbed the skull, it started to melt right after he did. His body doing the same.

Error jumped down and stared at the grey substance "... You really w-were an abomination." He mumbled, "Goodbye, Ink." His strings retracting to him as he says that.

"It's... It's over!" Horror laughed, moving forward to the three. Nightmare eyed the puddle of mud like substance before walking to Error, he smiled waving at him "N-Nightmare...-"

He was slapped, Nightmare frowned as his expression turns into anger "How fucking selfless are you?! You think you can just teleport us out of there?! We could have ended the entire charade right there-- And yet, you didn't let us!" He shouted grabbing his collar.

Dust puts a hand on Nightmare's shoulder "Nightmare, we were low on magic, all of us were!" He tells him, Nightmare scoffed "Error was low too. And yet he still had the audacity to get us the fuck out of dodge!" He added, Error blinked "... But Killer died because of the attack... I-If you all stayed even longer one of you would have died helping me again..."

Nightmare hugged him, "That doesn't mean that I wouldn't die for you." He mumbled.

Error chuckled "Ah... I-Is that how it is?" He pulled away from him, a flash of light appeared in Error's mind all of a sudden, he looks behind him quickly, the barrier now disappearing into nothing "Glitch..." He started making short teleports, Nightmare raises a hand to him and teleported aswell, following him.

Dust did the same, but Horror stayed behind for a moment as he stared at Ink's remains.

"Burn in hell, fucker." He spits.

Error stood in the middle of the street, but immediately took cover when a hail of bullets came upon him. Nightmare teleported next to him and does the same, eyeing the bullets that flew by "What the fuck?! Is G doing that?!"

G kept firing, hearing the click on his gun and takes the magazine out and tries to reach for another one.

"Sup." Dust punches the back of his head from behind, G falls to the ground out cold. Dust snickered "Are you out of your mind? What the hell are you firing at anyway?" He turned to the direction he was looking at while positioning G against the wall and saw an alleyway that had a skeleton stood in it.

Hunter widened his eyes, lowering his gun when he saw him "Wait... Sir...?" He murmured, Dust tilted his head "Huh? Another skeleton? What timeline is he from? Who..." His gaze averts to Night and Glitch, they didn't budge and couldn't, seeing the gunfire that was occurring.

Dust moves to the two with a confused look "Nightmare? What the hell are you... Error?! What the fuck?!" He yelled, crouching down to see his current state. Night looks up at him with with tears coming down his face "Dust...? Is that you? Oh god..." He glances down at Glitch.

"What... You aren't Nightmare... Who are you?" Dust examined his bloody clothing and immediately knew it wasn't him. Night shook his head, caressing Glitch's cheek "Wake up, please..." He repeats, Dust saw the injury Glitch had and breathes in slowly "This looks like Error too... Oh damn..."

"Sir! I'm here!" Hunter came running to them, his gun on hold as he held his shoulder with his free hand. Dust stared at him "And who exactly are you?" He asked him, Hunter blinked before he smiled nervously "So you must be the other Dust..."

"Other Dust?"

But his smile faltered when he turned to Glitch, seeing the hole in the back of his skull and the blood that was pooling. He covered his mouth, coughing "Oh my god..." He turned around, puking.

Both Hunter and Dust were unable to do anything. Hunter couldn't get himself to focus either, he's done field dressing multiple times but not with people in Glitch's case.

"Killer was the only one in our group that could heal... How's he not even dust yet...? Damn it. I'm sorry man-- But he's already going to be gone by the time we get him medical treatment--" Dust grimaced, Night kept holding Glitch's fallen figure "He's not dead, he's not dead... Wake up please..." He repeated over and over again.

Nightmare and Error both ran up to the group, Error frowned "G-Glitch? Oh... D-Damn it Ink...!" He hits the side of his head and kicks the air, Nightmare looks at the two that were on the floor "Is... Is that us...? Error, what's going on?" He turns to him.

"Ah!"

"Ow, ow ow!"

Dream and Blue were pushed to the ground infront of them all, Horror claps his hands as he chuckled "Found these two over there doing shit." He tells them, Dream looks up at Nightmare with an apologetic look "B-Brother... I'm sorry! I had no idea what was going on with me! I felt like I was controlled!" He exclaimed, Nightmare scoffed "Dream. How nice it is to see you." A tentacle slowly slithered to his neck, wrapping it as he was forced to stand up. Blue stayed quiet.

"Nightmare, please! I-I'm telling the truth! I don't know what was making me do all that!" He choked, trying to pull the tentacles away from him. Nightmare grinned "The two of us are going to have a long, decent brotherly conversation once this is finished." He cooed, moving him closer for a second. Dream's look became dreadful.

Error crouched down to Night and places his hand on his shoulder "I'm... I'm sorry. I w-was too slow to do anything." He told him, Hunter got ahold of himself. He coughed with one eye open as he stared at Glitch's corpse.

He bit his lip, grasping his shoulder "Fuck me... I can't do anything properly..." He murmured. Hunter pained to even see Glitch. Even if this was the one he hasn't met yet. It was still Error. Dream managed to get a glimpse of it and widened his eyes when he saw the arrow that was still lodged in Glitch's leg.

"I... I killed Error...? No... But your standing right there..." He glances at Error, who shook him off "You're an idiot. You know that, D-Dream.'' Error could only frown.

"N-No! I refuse to believe that I killed someone! Let me d-down, I'll do whatever I can!" Dream yelled, grabbing everyone's attention. Nightmare scoffed "You? You can heal him? By the time you can do shit he's going to be dust. I mean look at him! You're too much of a screwup to do anything right.

Dream shakes his head "N-No! He's not going to dust, he's going to live! Let me down! I'll d-do something!" He squirmed, Error sighed "... People from his t-timeline don't dust when they die. S-So... He's probably a-already-"

"Please sir, let your brother down. If he can do something, then let him." Hunter spoke up, the tone of his voice had gotten lower than earlier. He didn't see what Ink had done, and assumed that he was just knocked out. His assumptions were once again, wrong.

Sometimes he'd just like to be right about his assumptions.

Nightmare raised an eyebrow and opened his mouth to say something. But he couldn't. He scoffed, letting go of Dream and shoved him forward "Fine. But if he dies, it's all on you Dream." He muttered pointing at Dream.

Dream sat up properly and sits next to Night, who was sniffing.

"...You shot him in the leg. You gave Ink the chance to kill him. Why?" He started, Dream stared at him "I... I don't know what made me do it... I think I was forced to. I'm... I'm sorry. But let me heal him, and he's going to make it." He had a reluctant expression as he said that.

Night hesitated to even let go of his partner, but did it for the sake of it. Dream smiled softly and checks the back of his skull it was a large, hole. Two times bigger than Horror's.

"Fuck. An injury like that, and anyone with that would be out of the game." Horror comments, holding his own skull.

Dream breathes slowly, both his hands hovering against Glitch's skull as a yellow glow started to emit "Focus..."

. . .

. . .

"So, is everything all good now...?" Hunter asked, his arms crossed as he stood infront of Error. Currently, the two of them were at Night's mansion. They were both outside. It was afternoon, eight hours after the fight. The sun stayed above them, the breeze of the wind keeping them cooled.

Night and Hunter were both still stoked which meant that they couldn't sleep one bit. And it was afternoon, so they thought to just wait until night.

Error nodded "Yeah... It is. I-I have to get back and well, talk with the others about w-what happened today. If it wasn't for you guys, n-none of this would have happened." He smiled at him, Hunter also smiled as he laughed "Of course, anything for you. Also, others?"

Error nods again, "There are a lot of timelines, where in each one has their own judge. And well, you are the judge of this timeline. You should know that." He snickered. Hunter stuttered "W-Wha? I'm the Judge of this timeline? I'm confused..."

"What I mean is, you are the guardian of this t-timeline. And of course, don't let that get into what you would usually do. Don't make a-any of what happened today do anything to you guys, actually. It's much more better that way. Everyone else h-had agreed to living their lives normally."

Error chuckled "And seeing as I've h-had my talk with the Judge of this timeline, I'm free to leave and enter when I please." He added, Hunter grinned "That's great! I'd like to see you from time to time too."

"You can actually see me from time to time too. I'll teach you how to create portals, which might take months or a year."

"No way I can?! I'd say worth!"

"Hey."

The two turned, seeing Night walk to the two. He had his usual look. But he was sympathetic this time. He raises his hand and motions it to him "It was... It was nice to meet you. This is very... This was a very interesting day." He mumbled.

Error eyed his hand and laughed, shaking it "I'm not g-going to leave permanently. You g-guys took a big role in the breakthrough, so don't expect that I'd j-just treat you all like another one of those usual timelines." He tells him. Night smiled "Of course. This whole timeline thing is still confusing. But, today was enough for me to understand some."

"Yeah. You did explain why you did all that destruction. If someone was forcing something to exist, then I'd have done something about it aswell. Your Ink seemed problematic." Hunter waves his hand saying, Error tilts his skull "W-Well for one thing, he's gone. The balance of the multiverse is permanently... Balanced. If i w-would put it that way." He bit his finger, thinking of something.

"So how'd you know that Glitch t-there was the real thing?" Error asked him, Night hummed "... The way he looked at me when I called him by his codename, was the same look he gave me when the two of us were pinned during a firefight in an operation a few years ago. It was him and me, the rest of our unit had been killed. And Glitch there had looked at me like he was relieved that I was there with him. And back there, he looked like he was relieved to see me." He explained.

"You two really d-do have an history together. That answers to why y-you had that reaction to his near death experience."

After that, Night had both his hands behind his head "So what now? Are you still going to be the so called 'God of Destruction'?" He asked, Hunter stared at him waiting for his answer too.

Error stopped biting his finger, scratching his skull as he hummed "Hm... I d-don't think I'd call myself that anymore really. It's been, centuries. Maybe even m-more since this all began. At first, I only knew one thing. Was to keep things in check. I didn't destroy worlds because I was bored--"

"You told us that already. But the century thing was a not."

"Well he is a god, is this surprising even?"

"Huh. I guess not then."

Error shrugged "I... I-I don't really want to be called a destroyer anymore really.  But... Maybe I can change my title instead." He mumbled. Night raised an eyebrow "To a God of what then?"

The god paused, he took a deep breathe and laughed "I-I can't think of I-it right now. I'm having thoughts about what to say to the others." He says, Hunter chuckled "It's alright. But sometimes people should let go of their past, you know?"

Night nodded "He's right, your history was a damn chucklefuck to begin with. Giving someone the privilege to erase something from existence when they don't want to but is forced to? That's a damn responsibility alright.

"It was. I wanted to k-kill myself multiple times during it. B-But I just couldn't." He stared as his hand, the sound of the grass nearby only being heard. Night coughed "Right. But it's a good thing you didn't huh? Atleast know we don't have to worry about world annihilation." He snorted.

Hunter huffed "That depends on the world leaders of this world. If they create world
