Dream cried, sitting against the wall "The bullet didn't go through... Why does he have a gun?!" He hissed. Ink stared at him "Are you going to be okay?" He asked him, holding his skull that had a small crack.
"I... I need to get it out... Give me a moment...!" He told him.
Ink turned to G, who was backing off slowly. Ink looks at what he was going for, and saw his gun.
"That's a bad idea, you know that." Ink spoke up, making him stop in his tracks. G grinned looking at him "Everything is a bad idea if it's not from you." He remarked, Ink kept his plain stare as he stretched his bleeding arm, the gunshot wound still on his shoulder as dark ink dripped.
When a bone clicked, the bullet popped out of his shoulder. This made G tense at the sight. Ink tilted his skull "Error has a gun. It's from you, I'm sure of it." He said. G chuckled "I use a Tommy gun, and bone attacks from time to time. What makes you think I'd give him a sidearm?"
Hearing that, Ink nodded "You've always been a suspect of mine. I'd like to know a few things. You wouldn't mind telling me them, right?" Ink took his paintbrush with his other hand, walking towards him "I'll tell you nothing obviously." G spat.
Ink sighed "And here I thought I didn't need to get physical with you. You were a nuisance to begin with."
"What do you mean-- NO WAIT-"
CRACK
.
Glitch panted, turning around. Dawn was arriving. The sun was coming up. Which meant that the place was going to get lively. Which is good, the more people out, the more harder it is for him to be spotted.
"Shit. I could have just killed him right there if my gun didn't jam for a moment."
Gun jams, is when the gun itself won't fire. Glitch had to slam his gun on his skull to unjam it. But he wasn't in the position to fire at him so all he could do was escape and think of a new plan for the time being.
Besides, he doesn't know what this Ink can fully do. More so with Dream.
Placing the box inside his bag, he looked around. He'd managed to get a distance from the incident, now? He's probably in the city square.
"If this place is similar to mine, there must be a hotel somewhere I can hide in for now. This place uses the same currency as mine. I'm in luck. I have my wallet on me." He chuckled, taking the phone he got out of his pocket.
"Or... I could just call someone from this."
He presses the contacts app, a whole list popped up. Some names he recognized, a lot he didn't.
His eyes stopped seeing the name 'Blue' and 'Nightmare'
Just now, he was tempted to call Nightmare. But seeing as he isn't the one he knows, he might aswell be cautious. He doesn't really know what he can do or what he does. He's seen him a bit in his dreams but only for a few mere seconds.
This goes same for Blue, he's seen him with Ink in his dreams as far as he can still recall them. But Blue's not done anything...
Seeing this, he's going to have to be careful to who he calls.
"I need to think of what to say to them..."
. . .
"...what are you doing here?" Dust asked, his arms crossed as he had a depressed look. Blue stood infront of him, his gaze at the floor "I... I have to talk to Nightmare." He told him, noticing the expression he had. Dust was never the one to look like this.
"Dream told you where this place was, did he?"
"He did... He swore to never tell Ink, but he told me anyways. I don't think anyone knows."
Currently, the two were standing in the doorway of the mansion. The grey, atmosphere and dead trees surrounding the building. Making it impossible for it to be seen unless you've been searching for hours in the timeline they were in.
Dust stared at him "I know you didn't do anything Blue. I kept glancing at you during the battle. But Nightmare doesn't. The mood he's in, he'll kill anything that provokes him and vice versa. Please leave. I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone. That goes the same for everyone else in this household."
But before the door was to be closed, Blue held it open by placing his foot there "Please. It's urgent. I've been wanting to say this for weeks." He pleaded. Dust sighed "... Killer and Error's deaths have taken a toll on his attitude and mental health. I really don't want you to be killed. None of that is necessary anymore." He mumbled, looking behind Blue, averting his eyes left.
Seeing that, Blue turned around to see two gravestones. One had a light blue, dusty jacket. He knew who those were.
"By the time our magic were replenished, the fight was already over. Killer died the moment he was hit by Dream's arrow." Dust told him. His voice getting more silent "Saying this, all we could recover was his jacket. Error? We found no trace of him. The bastards must have doused his with water somewhere else and took his belongings."
Blue widened his eyes "D-Dream killed him...?" He mumbled.
Dust nodded "He's the only one with a bow that fires blue arrows. Killer was hit in his chest, which was an obvious weak spot. But You wouldn't have known. You stayed behind something to hide in during the fight... You didn't know... They didn't know. They all didn't. They believed something that was worthwhile, not permanent."
Blue turns back to him, moving closer "I know their deaths were brought onto them by something understandably wrong but I swear, I need to talk to Nightmare about something." He added, Dust opens the door slightly.
"Alright. You can tell me what it is first. I'll either tell you to leave so I can tell this to Nightmare, or I'll be obliged to let you in." He gave his full attention to him, as if he wasn't doing it already.
Blue paces around, stopping and took a deep breathe "Error is alive, okay?" He quickly said. Dust widened his eyes "What...?"
"I fired my blaster at him, aimed up a bit to miss him and make Ink get off him- I kept it firing for a few seconds which was enough for him to escape through a portal-- But with his wounds, I fear he might be in a state that stops him from leaving the timeline he's in." He explained.
Dust scoffed "And you waited weeks for that...?"
"I didn't know how to get it out! Ink kept me and Dream in, I couldn't get out without him noticing and asking to where I was going!" He yelled, Dust frowned "Well. I'm not in the position to do anything. For I've not gotten the hang of creating portals yet. You explain this to Nightmare in a way that won't get you killed. Understand?" He raises a finger at him.
Blue nodded "I'll see what I can do." He answered. Dust opens the door and ushers him inside.
Both Cross and Horror sat there in the living room couch silently until Blue entered with Dust.
Cross looks up at him a bit. Remembering some memories of him making tacos for him to eat. But his positive thoughts were quickly shut down. Negative ones replacing them as he looks back down. Now quiet.
Horror on the other hand eyes Blue warily. His axe by his side. It was clean, but the wood had chips. The metal did too.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Horror spoke up, his fingers twitching as if he was going to grab his axe just now. Blue jumps a bit going behind Dust "Horror not now. You know he had nothing to do with the fight." He told him.
Horror laughed "But yet, he still attended. You hold his hand. I'll be here if you want me to do anything." He stayed seated, looking away. Dust stopped on the staircase, Blue stopped to.
"Nightmare is upstairs. Turn right and the first room you see, he's in it. Ill have to discuss things with Horror and Cross about this. From here, your choice of words will take affect on what's going to happen to you." He tells him before walking away, taking a seat Inbetween Cross and Horror. Him starting a conversation.
Blue eyed the stairs going up, taking a deep breath before going up.
He made a turn, following what Dust had said and found a door that was covered in black substance. This must be Nightmare's.
With hesitation, he knocked several times.
"Didn't I tell you fucks to leave me alone?!"
Blue whimpered, standing up straight after "It's... It's me... I have something to tell you...!" He spoke up.
The door was broken, pushing Blue back to the floor behind him. A tentacle shot out of the room, wrapping itself around his neck "And look who decided to fucking show up? Guess anyone can have a death wish." He sneered. The tentacle wrapping itself tighter.
Blue coughed, trying to say something as he kept pulling the tentacle off him. Nightmare hissed "I lost... Two. Two allies. Two people who I most cared about, and you shits?! We didn't even kill anyone! We just knocked them out!" He shouted.
"Killer was forced to kill, because of some directive he had to fuckin follow. Error? Oh, he was also forced! He's a forced God himself!"
Blue managed to pull the tentacle for a moment "E-Error's alive!" He choked out, Nightmare let his guard down "Excuse me?" He says, the tentacle loosening up. Enough for Blue to breathe properly.
"Error survived! I bought him a second to get away!" He yelled, Nightmare widened his eyes "Are you trying to bullshit me?! I'll kill you right now if so!"
RING
Nightmare averted his gaze at Blue's pocket. The noise coming from there "The fuck is that? Is Ink calling you, huh?!" He asked him. Blue shook his head "T-This is my other p-phone! Ink doesn't know this...! I don't know who's calling right now...!" He answered.
A tentacle slithered and nabbed the phone out of his pocket. Blue tensed seeing it hover near Nightmare's face.
"So G is the one who's calling. Atleast he I can trust. You? Not one bit."
BEEP
"Hello? Blue? Are you there? It's me, Error."
