♤Duties

"Welcome our new CEO of Schwarz co, please make him feel comfortable. Congratulation son." His father padded on his shoulders and gave a big smile. The employees were mostly shocked to see such a young guy replacing their previous fifty years old CEO but still clapped their hands despite being uncertain about him.

"I hope we all get along."

His dark eyes scanned the room, sending shivers down their spine.

His father, the chairman excused himself since he had an important matter to look at. His assistant showed him around the company and at the end guided him in his office.

"Sir, do you like your office?"

Red lips, her blouse unbuttoned on the top, was already on the way trying to seduce him. He touched the transparent glass that was right beside the table showing an outstanding view of the city. Their company building was a lot taller than most of the other ones.

Just then, the sun suddenly flashes its rays through another glass at him.

She came to his mind, the way she walked and smiled happily under the sun as if she didn't feel the painful rays of it. She looked so happy and breathtaking, he had fallen at that sight of her. She looked like a painting that came to life.

Rebus loved art.

"Sir?" Thin hand rested on his shoulder and he was immediately knocked out of his thought. His frown returned and slapped the hand away.

"Never touch me." He warned getting away from her and grabbing his phone on the transparent glass table.

"I'll keep that in mind. Sir do you like your office, your father insisted on changing most of it to your liking...."

*where are you?*

He quickly pressed the send bottom while neglecting the curious women. After two minutes she finally replied.

*library, talk to you later*

He slide the phone inside his pants pocket and sat on the lathered chair.

His assistant rolled her eyes, the new CEO didn't even bothered to blink an eye to her and it was like she was talking to the air instead of the man in front of her. But she wasn't going to let this chance slide by, no man had resisted her charms and sooner or later she thought he was going to be wrapped around her finger.

She had digged some info about Rebus Schwarz, the youngest son of the chairman, a mastermind, prodigy and so many things he was called. He skipped grades real quick when he was a kid, because he was an intellectual one who could solve ten grade questions at just eight years old. He stayed hidden from the press that surrounded his famous and rich family and there was no reasons to explain it. This was the first time she had seen him, and she wasn't disappointed a bit.

This man reeked sexiness from the mysterious aura that clung to him.

"Three rules, follow 'em properly or i will fire you.
One, mention me or anyone over here as per their position. Don't bring up our relationship.
Two, don't stand anywhere near me or touch me. Stay away.
Three, clothe properly. You look disgusting."

His eyes were still glued on some document when he gave out the rules monotonously.

She seethe in irritation.

Disgusting??? That was such a insult to her.

Rebus narrowly eyed the furious assistant. The moment she had stepped forward to congratulate earlier, he had hated her. Hated her fake smile, dirty looks and the way her eyes roamed over him in such a grody manner. He shrugged the thoughts away, she wasn't his problem or was going to let her be one.

There was a meeting after the lunch but before that he was free and he wouldn't miss the chance to meet her. She had left the bed numb in the morning with a little note saying 'i have class. Gonna miss ya.'
He never had such a peaceful sleep for a long time till she came to him.

He read the yellow file containing the policy of the company that the chairman had given to him for reference and he already had his hands on the employee  cvs. He was entrusted with duties that maybe for a guy of his age might not be capable of but this was a Schwarz, little different and definitely a ....

                             Craving Sweet

*I'm waiting*

Her heart skipped when she saw his message. Earlier he'd texted her wanting to tell her something and now he was waiting for her at the gate of the college. She dodged few students, rushing her way out towards him. She took a breath of relief when she spotted him, arms crossing over his chest clad in dark navy suit that perfectly complimented his looks. He was leaning his back against the SUV.

"I missed you."

In three long strides, he was near her hugging her warmly. She didn't even notice him moving.

"Same, what did you want to say?"

She looked around checking if there were anyone whom she knew. Didn't want to get caught in their lovey dovey session.

"There's a congratulation party tonight and i want you to come with me."

"Can't you go without me?"

She knew what type of party he was talking about, probably for the rich people wearing expensive dresses and suits with exquisite jewellery. She did not fancy those type of parties.

"No."

He stated plainly, his hands sliding off her shoulder.

"I want you to come. It's at eight, I'll send the driver to pick you up." Before she could object, he placed a soft peck on her cheeks and bid goodbye, getting inside the car. Astonished, she rubbed her cheek as he speed away.

Suspicion.

It was boiling within his isolated mind, he had felt it. The lost of interest in her eyes. He clenched his hands in tight fist resting it on his thigh. Had she been seeing someone other than him? Did some guy manipulated his precious (name)? Why was she conscious of their surrounding as if someone would see them?

His terms were coming to an end and his father had thrust-ed a huge responsibility on him, time was getting short between them. His mind was null and void if it wasn't thinking about her, he needed her in every way. Her attention, her affection and her sweetness. He needed them all.

Who cared if he was being suspicious?

Though it's only been a day they were an official couple.

"There's a boy, he talks to her and walks her home everyday before you met her sir."

His eyes narrowed at the driver. It sure was some news to him.

"Name?"

"Jack. Brown head, looks around twenties."

"Stop the car." The driver obeyed. He switched the seat with him and made the driver seat beside him. He drove through a another direction, somewhere isolated and dark. He took out the pen that was in his chest pocket and in a flash jabbed across the man's neck, who chocked on his blood.

He slowly stopped the car and dragged the man in a dark alley with the pen still intact on his neck. He struggled, from the grips of the dangerous guy staring at him.

He took out a cancer stick and lit it.

"Old man, smoke." He placed the cancer stick in his mouth while the man's eyes were filled tears knowing he was going to be killed soon.

"I don't remember telling you to keep an eye on her."

He took out the bloody pen from the neck and he sucked in breath from the awful pain .

"It's my duty and i know it all too well."

He stepped on the his neck, hard, till he heard a satisfying crack.

"She is mine. So fuck off."
