"This won't work guys." Manhar face Palmed himself.

We all looked at each other sadly...

"How about we approach her family?" Zakk asked .

"She has already been proposed to. " Hassan stated

"The last choice is still hers ... maybe she might not like the new guy. All in all i think the safest ship home will be to make you're interest known." We all agreed to what Abbas said.

After discussing a few more ways we could help him out the case was put to rest.

"How are things so far?" Manhar asked Hassan.

Zakk and Abbas truned their heads from side to side wondering what Manhar was implying to.

Hassan raised his hands in surrender "Ok ok l'll tell."

They all gave him a killing glare making him talk quicker.

"Her name is Najat ... and she said yes!"

He layed back to witness the drama unfold.

They all threw themselves  on him each of them shouting their own words but all he could make out were the words: 
"Haram!" , "SOOO UNFAIR!" , "Beat the life of him!"

When they finally got off him he laughed painfully "Nice way to get congratulated by my best pals! At this rate y'all look like you guys wana land me in a wheel chair?!"

"How could you just blow us up like that?!" Abbas exclaimed

"How? When? Where?" Zakk threw it all in confusion

"Speak before we make you!" Manhar warned.

He stood up slowly and spoke "On second thought.." he jumped off the sofa and ran like his life depended on it.

The others looked at each other confused before running after him.
They all eneded up in the backyard where Zakk saw the water pipe and after opening the water sprayed everyone. They all ran after each other drenching wet and slipping up and down the slippery ground.

When they fell together they all centred Hassan and bear hugged him, all yelling
"MABRUUUUUK!" (Congratulations) at the top of their lungs.

As the opened water pipes poured more water and the bright sun rays flustered upon their intertwined bodies. Four friends held each other full of laughter, full of love and above all full of contentment.

I sat behind Merjem as i combed her hair as she looked at her face in the mirror. I stole a glance at her features
.. she looked somehow scared.

"What if he's only handsome and not good enough for me?!" She asked touching her temples.

I smiled as i answered "He only saw you once... and here he is . I don't believe he could be that bad." She let out a breath at my answer as though somehow relived.

I continued to fix her up before the Nikkah ceremony began. Nuri went to the bridal store to pick up the wedding dress . As i was putting the final touches Feras walked into the room.

"Ready ladies?"

Merjem left my side and walked into his arms held out to her for a hug. I watched them hug as a warm feeling spread across my stomach. I wondered what if i had a brother ? Would he be this way with me?

She looked at me through his arms "When will you two tie the knot?" She asked smiling up at Feras.

Blush creeped up my face and i looked away. Before i knew it he was next to me holding up my face to his level. I heard the door close so i concluded Merjem chose to leave the room after starting trouble.

Every since the day father died Feras refused to let me spend a second to myself. He made me moved in with them to avoid keeping to myself. I didn't mourn much since he's family was too nice to me . We had our Nikah done a month after my father passed away. I asked for the wedding to be put off till i graduate which hopefully he agreed to.

He looked into my eyes before he spoke "We could marry today."

I shook his hand off "Who'll graduate for me then?" I asked smiling .

"If you keep smiling that way i might forget about that." He spoke moving closer.

The door suddenly opened and Nuri walked in running. Feras quickly stepped away from me.

She placed the dress on the bed and truned to Feras "The guests are here already. You might wana go down stairs."

We sat behind Merjem as the ceremony went on. When it was done we went to get a Photo shoot for the new couple

We took a more private photo them once we got to their new place.

They looked perfect together.

As the place cleared up Abbas cought a glimpse of one lady he found intriguing . He watched her for some couple of minutes till he felt some sudden tap on his shoulder

"Are you Abbas?" A stranger asked.

"Yes. Anything the matter?"

"Not at all. You're friends outside were looking for you." He answered

"Oh ok." I stood to leave when i decided to take the wild chance.

"Do you by any chance know that lady in black standing across the room?"

He turned to look then answered "Yes, her name is Nuri she's one of Fiance' s friends."

I felt glad i met him now " I'm Abbas. Nice to meet you."

"Pleasure." We shook hands and with that i left .

.." Manhar spoke

"Wait! I see him." Zakk exclaimed

He hopped in and they drove into the night with a promise of a lasting happiness and friendship 💖🖤💟
