So yall don't have to be the girl :)

Y/n's POV (3rd Person)

"Hey I have your coat, do you want it back? No. Wait- duh. Of course he wants it back it's his coat. So uhhh... what are you doing here? Y/n no this is his house what are you thinking. You want your coat back? Oh? You do? Well uhh thats gonna require some payment if ya know what I mean? Ew! No! Just ring the doorbell already it's not that hard!"

"You would be correct."

Y/n let out a loud yelp of surprise and jumped backwards, smacking his head on the large wooden door.

He hadn't realized the large Russian man had been standing behind him the entire time, and had, indeed, heard everything.

"Jeez! Don't scare me like that!" He said, feeling flustered.

"You came to return the coat?" USSR asked, raising an eyebrow.

Y/n nodded and offered him the coat.

He took it.

"Oh, and I'll park the car in the driveway for you tomorrow, I'm picking up a new one. Thanks for letting me borrow yours." He said politely.

"Of course." The Russian nodded. "Just be glad you didn't wreck it like you did yours."

"Yeah... still sorry about your mailbox." The shorter male said, rubbing the back of his neck.

Y/n had already replaced it for him because he felt kinda bad about crashing, passing out, and then having USSR cook for him and taking care of him. He wished he could do more to return the favor.

"It's alright, no harm done." The Union assured him. "And I will take you to pick up your car tomorrow."

"What? Oh no, I wouldn't want to take time out of your day for that.." Y/n said quickly.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 11:30 so I can take you to pick up your car." USSR replied, pushing past y/n and unlocking his door. "I will see you then."

The country slipped inside and a surprised y/n was left standing out in the cold russian air.

"He's picking me up tomorrow..." He muttered softly to no one.

Y/n barely slept that night.

He just lay there in his bed, eyes open, and the conversation from earlier replaying over and over again in his mind.

Was this a date?

Did this really mean anything?

Was he overthinking this?

Did Soviet like him back?

And why was he so hot?

Y/n sighed and groaned, rubbing the side of his face and trying to clear his thoughts.

'Deep breaths y/n, you'll wake up in a few hours and then you'll feel better.. Yeah.. that sounds go-'

And then his alarm went off.

"Frick."

He dragged himself from his warm and comfortable bed and went into his bathroom to get ready.

He washed up and ran a comb through his hair, walking out, he rummaged through his drawer looking for something decent to wear.

Throwing on his clothes, went down stairs to finish up some extra assignments for work since he didn't have to meet with the USSR for a few more hours.

He grabbed a snack from the fridge and some coffee, sitting down and starting to work, he waited as the hours ticked painfully by.

Finally, a knock at the door.

Y/n slammed his computer shut and raced to the door, he opened it and casually leaned against the door frame so he didn't look like an excited maniac.

"Hello Soviet." He said in his chillest voice. "Are we ready to go?"

"Arnt you going to need a coat?" The large country asked, raising a brow.

"Oh. Uh... yes. I'll meet you in the car." He said, quickly heading over to the hooks on the nearby wall where he kept his coats and jackets.

Grabbing a large fluffy one, he stepped out into the snowy walk, and shut and locked the door behind him.

He went out to the car parked in his driveway and slipped into the passenger's seat beside USSR.

"Thanks for being willing to drive me, its very nice of you." He said, buckling his seat belt as USSR backed out.

"It is no trouble." He responded. "Do you have the address?"

"Mhm." Y/n nodded and rummaged through his pocket until he found it.

"Here."

Y/n passed it to him and the Russian took and read it over.

"Thank you." He replied, setting in on the dash.

The two men drove in silence until they reached the dealership.

They got out of the car, despite y/n telling USSR that he could go home and take care of whatever he needed to, but the country refused.

Y/n walked into the small building and walked up to the desk.

"Hello. Im y/n l/n, I called yesterday about the (your dream car) and the man I spoke to said I could pick it up today."

The man at the desk didn't even look up at him before saying something in Russian.

"Uhh..." Y/n started.

USSR interrupted him with his own comment in Russian.

Y/n watched as the two men went at it for a moment.

The man at the desk stood up and yelled something angrily.

Soviet slammed his hand on the desk causing the other man to promptly fall into his chair.

He said something in a steely cool voice and the man nodded fearfully.

"They'll have your car ready for you in about twenty minutes." Soviet told him.

"Um... thanks?" Y/n responded.

"You are welcome. Come. There's a bakery across the street, we can grab something to eat while they get it ready for you."

"Sounds good to me, I could go for a bite right now."

Soviet held the door open for y/n and lead him out of the building. The two walked across the street and into the bakery.

Y/n let out a sigh of contentment as the smell of breads and pastries wafted their way into his nose.

"That smells amazing." He commented as he looked around the small shop.

"You'll have to show me what's good, I've never been to a Russian bakery before."

USSR walked up to the counter and talked to the lady that owned the shop.

"Одна булка пожалуйста." He said, pointing to a large loaf of bread. "И два pryanik пожалуйста."

She nodded and got the goods for him.

"Спасибо." He said. "Anything else you'd like y/n?"

"Nope. I'm sure whatever you got will be amazing." He smiled, as they exited, walking out onto the tree lined sidewalk.

"Here." USSR reached inside the bag and broke off a piece of bread for y/n.
He held it out for y/n, who took slow bite, he felt his chest heat up as his lips grazed Soviets fingers.

"Your face is red." He commented.

"What."

Y/n was so flustered by USSR noticing that he walked straight into a tree.

A pile of snow fell onto his head and the cold snow slipped down his back.

"Oh hell!" Y/n yelped in surprise, jumping back and trying to shake the hair from his head.

He looked up shyly at the Union, his face now even redder and to his surprise he was... laughing?

The large man gave a hearty chuckle and said something y/n didn't understand and placed his arm around y/ns small frame.

"That was funny. You're a fun guy
y/n. I like you."

"Why thank you. I try." Y/n chuckled, trying not to further embarrass himself.

The two headed out to the parking lot where y/ns new car was already for him.

"Guess this is me." He said, patting the hood of the car.

"Here." USSR passed him the bag of goodies. "You take them and tell me what you think when we meet again."

"Thank you." Y/n said, smiling at him. "I'm sure I'll enjoy."

As the man left, y/n started the car, now wishing he wasn't alone.

Y/n woke up cold.

He did live in Russia and it was winter, but it wasn't supposed to be this cold...

He climbed out of bed, grabbed a hoodie from his dresser and walked down stairs to where the heater and thermostat was.

After checking and rummaging around, he realized that the heater was broken and there was no way to get it fixed tonight.

He could either grab all the blankets, turn on the oven and open it, and then camp out in the kitchen for the night, or he could go to Soviets house.

Would he be upset?

Would he mind?

Would he think it was weird?

Y/n made his decision and grabbed his coat, swiftly exiting his home.

He made the short trip over to USSR's house and knocked on the door.

The door opened.

USSR stood there, in a pair of pajama pants and a plain white t-shirt.

"Um hi. Its me again, I'm so sorry to bother you, but my heater broke... and well.. I.. uh.. Would you mind it if I stayed here?" Y/n asked.

USSR nodded, and opened the door further to allow y/n to come inside.

"I'll show you where you can stay, or you may sleep with me if you'd like." Soviet offered.

"My own room is fine." Y/n replied, red faced at the thought of them sleeping in the same bed.

USSR showed him upstairs to the room he'd stayed in last time.

"Let me know if you change your mind." He said, y/n swore he saw something of a smirk played on his lips.

"I probably won't, I wouldn't want to intrude. But thanks for the offer." He replied.

Y/n lay on the comfortable bed and sighed softly, he was just going to sleep here and go back home in the morning. It would be simple and USSR wouldn't ever know his feelings, right?

Y/n closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, and just lay there.

And lay there.

And lay there.

"Frick!" He yelled in frustration, getting out of the bed and marching down the hall.

He flung open Soviets door and stood there, red faced, only in his boxers, and looking at the shirtless red man in the bed before him.

He walked up to the foot of the bed, praying he wasn't shaking as much as he felt he was.

"I want to sleep with you." He announced.

The Union sat up and grabbed y/n's face, pulling him into a kiss.

"Then by all means, dear neighbor, get in."
