"I'm glad I found you today, Andy" Dian's words, loving and understanding. "I promised my wife that I would seek help" she says without making a face and takes a Donut.

"So I am not here today to help yourself, but to do your wife a favor?" Dian asks curiously. "No" Andy looks down as she is visibly uncomfortable. "I don't know who I am anymore...I feel different...since the pregnancy" Andy admits. "I hope you can tell me who I am or how to get back to myself" Andy looks at Dian for help. "tell me Captain" Dian looks honestly at Andy who just smiles. "I don't know," Andy stumbles a little and shrugs her shoulders. "you deny who you are? Is it because you're pregnant? because you can't do your job properly?" she asks insistently, the words weighing more than they should and hitting Andy right in the heart. "I...I'm Andy Herrera...the daughter of Pruit Herrera" Dian listens carefully and gets up to look around her office. "I see something more, you are not only a daughter, but also a strong Latina, leader of a whole team...a person with feelings, who loves and wants to be loved" she stops and Andy chews her lower lip, suppressing her emotions.

"You have come a long way and defied all the things from your past. You have found a new love and yet you are here with me today," she continues.

"I messed up," she says quietly and Dian looks at her, "we all do from time to time, it's important to admit it and grow past it." Dian picks up a photo of you with Andy. "you look happy, what's changed?" she asks. "i've changed.... i know my wife just wants to protect me, i've been so reckless with her feelings. Of course she only means well, but I can't live with it in the long term!" Andy suddenly stands up. "I am the captain of this station, the successor to a legend....as a woman of color!" she looks seriously at Dian, who smiles. "oh? well, you see, you know very well who you are. Listen Andy, you can't control your emotions because you're pregnant. Many women are like that, some more, some less, and yet you love her. If your love is really that strong, then you resist every temptation, no matter how big it is, because you don't want to hurt the person you love."

Andy looks down guiltily. She knows exactly what she has asked of you. "She said she forgave everything I did and yet it feels wrong. I can't undo what happened..." Andy looks desperate and strokes her stomach. "i said terrible things to her" she looks sadly into dian's eyes. "This too will pass if she loves you. There are many ways to show remorse besides apologizing," she says in a calm voice. "And that would be?" Andy looks at Dian questioningly. "You'll have to find that out for yourself. Andy, you're a captain. Your wife is a lieutenant." A brief silence fills the room and Andy takes a deep breath. "I want to see my wife... I have to sort this out and get my thoughts in order. I don't know if she'll ever truly forgive me, but I'll do everything I can to show her how serious I am. I love her and I would die for her if it came down to it." Dian smiles contentedly. "If you're serious, then I'm sure nothing can hurt your marriage. And remember, before you do anything because you're not feeling well, come to me!" she says sincerely and Andy leaves the office to check on you.

In the meantime, you'll be with Carina to get some information. "Carina, thank you for having a moment," you say and let Carina scurry around in her office. "Of course, but what's on your mind?" she asks you. "Well...there are disagreements between me and Andy at the moment...I'm a bit confused about that" you say and Carina immediately looks up at you. "Did you have a fight? Is it about the children?" she asks, coming to you worried. "well not quite, but she..." you get tears in your eyes. "she's so stressful right now. I love her and I'm not behind her feelings" you say in a shaky voice. "Bambina...did you talk dear?" she asks you.

Flashback:

Andy looks at you quietly and completely exhausted....

She drops the bag in her hand and rushes towards you to hug you. "I'm so sorry, really, for everything I said and did!" You hug her tightly too and let Andy talk, unable to find words because of your relief. "I'll always stay with you no matter what, I promise..." You finally look at her. "I'm so glad you see it...but still...you need support or help. Please go to Dian"

Flashback end

"Yes, she's looking for help. However, I have a question or two for you," you say nervously. "She wants to be intimate with me as normal. Since I know she's pregnant, I don't want to because I'm afraid something will happen to the twins," you say honestly and Carina smiles. "That means you haven't had sex in almost four months? Y/N that's cruel" she speaks more or less jokingly. "Look, the babies are well protected in their mother's womb and the cervix does the rest. Of course it shouldn't get too wild, but just a relaxed togetherness, there's nothing wrong with that, on the contrary. The oxitocin that the body emits doesn't do anything. It's not only good for the mother, but the babies also feel that their mother is happy." You listen, spellbound, and are visibly relieved. "Wow...I didn't know that," you say reproachfully. "Don't worry, nothing can happen" she hugs you tightly and smiles at you in a friendly and understanding way. "If you release a little pressure, she'll become more approachable, believe me...Maya and I was no different," she winks at you and smiles. "I'll talk to her"

You make your way home only to see Andy waiting for you in the doorway with Angel in her arms. "hey...there are my favorite people" you say happily and go to both of them. Andy smiles happily at you with a hint of wistfulness. You cuddle Angel and then put her in her bed because she is tired. "andy...can we talk?" you ask her. "So actually I wanted to ask you the same thing" you both smile and go into the kitchen. "I can't undo what I did to you and I'm truly sorry...it hurts me"

Andy stops in her words, visibly shaken. "Andy...you're the most stubborn and fiery woman I've ever met. I believe you and I'm glad you're going to Dian," you say honestly and hug her lovingly. "I spoke to Carina," you say and look at her just as lovingly. "She explained to me a little about our intimacy and assured me that nothing could happen to the babies." You both look at each other quietly. Andy doesn't dare say anything on the subject and slowly closes her eyes as you carefully walk over to her and kiss her tenderly on the mouth.

She hesitantly goes into the kiss and takes your face in her hands. "I'm so sorry..." she whispers, visibly hurt during the kiss.

"It's ok..." you whisper back to her and the kiss becomes more intense. This time it feels different, more honest...a fire that cannot be put out and is only getting bigger.

The only thing that matters now is here and now, just the two of you. Everything else is unimportant. Andy sits you on the kitchen counter to get closer to you. The two of you undress, move to the bed in the bedroom and take it easy. After all this time, they both enjoy the passion and the longing to be close to each other. Every touch feels electrifying and twice as intense as usual. With care and yet great passion, you both can finally let go and wash away all the worries that have tormented you.

The next morning you go to the station together. Visibly more relaxed and loving, which doesn't go unnoticed by others. Of course Vic has to joke again and looks at you suspiciously. "Both of you...was lady luck with you?" she blurts out. You pat Vic on the shoulder and Kate just shakes her head. "I have to go to the office...morning roll call later," says Andy, noticeably groggy. You watch her go, after she gives you a kiss on the forehead and walks away. In the office, exhausted, she sits down in the chair, looks around and silently stares at the picture of the two of you. Still full of remorse, Andy tries to come to terms with it. She pulls out a very special application. A start to making a bit of reparation clear. On it? Your name and all of your details in this station.

She starts filling out the rest and gives the letter to the department.

Also, the book is almost at the end. There will be a second book with a great sequel . However, I want to write a Surrera story in which both of them get a second chance and it will be shown whether they are both worthy of love.
