Hanbin took a deep breath, determined to try again. He had a plan this time, one that he was sure would work. He would use both Korean and Mandarin to express his feelings, making sure that Zihao understood every word.
He carefully rehearsed his confession in his head, going over it again and again until he had it memorized. "Saranghaeyo, wo ai ni," he whispered to himself, his heart racing with excitement.
Finally, the day arrived. He would confess to Zihao in his room, where they could be alone and he could pour out his heart without any distractions.
But when he arrived at Zihao's room, he found him laughing and chatting with Ricky, another handsome Chinese trainee. Hanbin's heart sank as he watched them, his confidence draining away.
He knew he couldn't confess with Ricky there, not when Zihao was so clearly enjoying his company. So he turned and walked away, feeling defeated once again.
As he walked down the hallway, he heard a faint voice calling his name. He turned around to see Zihao running after him, a look of concern on his face.
"Hanbin, are you okay? You looked upset," Zihao said, his eyes filled with warmth.
Hanbin took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. This was it, his chance to confess. But just as he opened his mouth, he heard a faint beep coming from Zihao's pocket.
Zihao pulled out his phone, his expression changing as he read the message on the screen. "I'm sorry, Hanbin, I have to go. It's an emergency," he said, his eyes apologetic.
And with that, he was gone, leaving Hanbin standing there alone once again.
