And that was how Grimmjow was for the rest of the night as well. Grumpy. Even dinner, which he had requested, didn't even seem to faze this man and his thoughts.

"Grimmjow." You called out the blue haired man as he simply played with his food.
"What?" He asked irritated, his eyes never leaving his plate.
"You're not touching your food."
"I'm not hungry." Grimmjow stated as he stood up from the table and walked away, his food untouched.

"Well that was rude." Jinta stated as he shoved a chunk of his steak into his mouth. "He didn't even excuse himself from the table." Jinta continued, food in his mouth.
"Jinta- kun, you shouldn't talk with your mouth full." Ururu stated in the background, causing Jinta to bully her at the dinner table.

While Tessai tries to break up the two, you as well as many others watched Grimmjow walk away from the table. None of the others are bothered by the sudden motion, but they are surprised that he didn't even bother to touch his food. In most probability, you were the only who worried about Grimmjow's actions. For Grimmjow to walk away from a steak... is like him walking away from battle. It never happens.

That same night, while everyone slept, Grimmjow had snuck downstairs to the kitchen. Like it had been said, Grimmjow walking away from a steak, is like him walking away from battle.

Grimmjow sat outside on the porch of the balcony as he ate his late night dinner, with the most unusual company, Grimm. The now big white cat sat beside Grimmjow while he ate, staring up into the same full moon as Grimmjow did.

"Does it bother you?" A sudden voice had asked behind Grimmjow, causing him to quickly spin around. Grimmjow couldn't help but growl at the man with orange hair before him.
"Get lost Kurosaki." Grimmjow muttered as he turned back around, avoiding eye contact with Ichigo.
"Does it bother you?" Ichigo asked once more.
"What are you even doing here Kurosaki?" Grimmjow growled in response.
"Did you forget I had dinner here too?" Ichigo asked. "And I was just leaving, Tessai just finished bandaging me up after training with Ikkaku."
"So leave."
"I'll leave when you answer my question." Ichigo stated. "Does it bother you?"
"What the fuck are you talking about?" Grimmjow asked irritated. "Does what fuckin' bother me?"
"That Kagami is leaving."

At that moment, Grimmjow had stayed completely quiet, and his eyes seemed to concentrate more on the moon.

"No." Grimmjow answered finally, which surprised Ichigo greatly.
"It doesn't bother you that Kagami is leaving soon?" Ichigo questioned. "She's going to go back to Soul Society and who knows if she will return this time." Ichigo explained, he really didn't understand Grimmjow sometimes.
"No it doesn't fuckin' bother me that that woman is leaving me behind again!" Grimmjow yelled in frustration as he stood up and turned to yell at Ichigo. "And it doesn't fuckin' bother me that I'll never see her again! I am the aspect of destruction, the sixth espada! This shit will never bother me!"

Ichigo understood that someone who was created with the soul purpose of destruction in mind, would only ever understand the feeling of such. But if Grimmjow was destruction, then surely he understood the feelings of 'lost' it created, the chain of emotions that follow destruction. For one could not understand pleasure, if they didn't understand pain.

So Ichigo understood, that Grimmjow was simply lying to himself.

"Fine, if you say so." Ichigo said as he shrugged his soldiers, placing his hands behind his head, and then turned around. "But if you ask me, you should make the last few days meaningful."
"No one fuckin' asked you damn strawberry." Grimmjow mumbled.
"Even if you don't want to do it for yourself, at least do it for her." Ichigo said as he began to walk away. "Dumbass blueberry."

From there, Grimmjow had decided to just ignore Ichigo all together. But for some reason, he couldn't ignore his words and began to wonder if you would miss him when you left for Soul Society.

That morning, you woke up to an empty room. Grimmjow wasn't there. But his unmade futon and tossed off blanket was.

Getting up, you got ready for the day, and then headed downstairs.

"Urahara- san, where's Grimmjow?" You questioned as you passed by Urahara who was putting stocks away.
"Oh Kagami- chan!" Urahara said with a smile. "Grimmjow- san went out early this morning."
"Went out?" You questioned surprised. Grimmjow never goes out unless he's going out for work. And in the past, he never really went out unless it was for a girl... If he was starting that habit again, you were going to kill him.
"Yeah, a couple of male friends of his picked him up." Urahara continued.
"Friends?" You asked surprised once more. "Grimmjow has friends!?"

"What the fuck Jiro! Where is this place?" Grimmjow asked annoyed as he sat in the passenger seat of the car.
"It's in the mall." Jiro answered as he drove himself, Grimmjow, and Daichi to the mall, leaving Kiyoshi and Michio in charge of the game shop. Weird ...

Grimmjow growled. He was impatient. He just wanted to get the ring, then go home and ask you. There, end of story.

"So Grimmjow, have you decided how you're going to ask her?" Daichi questioned with a grin.
"What the fuck you talking about?" Grimmjow replied in return. "I'm going to ask the woman to marry me, she'll say yes, and that's it."

Jiro sighed at Grimmjow's answer. Grimmjow was a confident man...

"You mean once you get the ring you're just going to ask her?" Daichi asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah." Grimmjow answered plainly.
"But don't you think asking Kagami- chan out of the blue to marry you is-" Daichi began, before Jiro stopped him.
"Forget it Daichi." Jiro stated. "Won't matter how Grimmjow ask Kagami- chan to marry him." This statement caused Grimmjow to stare at Jiro from the corner of his eyes. "With the way those 2 act, it's obvious she's going to say 'Yes' either way."

Daichi sighed at Jiro's answer. It was true, no matter how he asked, whether it was politely or rudely, you were most likely going to say 'Yes'. But it would be nice if Grimmjow would ask more politely then rudely.

"Did you at least tell Kagami- chan where you're going?" Daichi continued to question.
"No."
"You didn't tell Kagami- chan where you're going?" Jiro asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"What the fuck does it matter if I did or not?" Grimmjow cussed back.
"Well..." Jiro answered slowly, debating if he should answer or not.
"... Kagami- chan seems like the type to keep a watchful eye on you. Especially after what you use to do." Daichi answered for Jiro.
"I think you should call her." Jiro mentioned.

Grimmjow grimaced at the idea of having to call, he felt like he was being baby sat, always having to tell Ichimaru or Tousen where you were.

"I don't know her number." Grimmjow answered as he leaned against the passenger window.
"You don't know her cell number?" Daichi asked surprised.
"She doesn't have a cellphone."
"Then what about the place she's staying at?"
"It's only for business." Grimmjow lied. Cause he knew the phone would be answered by one of the workers in the Urahara shop, and they were just going to make a big fuss about the whole situation if he asked for Kagami.
"Oh well, uh, isn't there anyone else you can call that can inform Kagami where you are?" Jiro asked.

Silence followed as Grimmjow thought about it, and grimaced once more.

"Hey Mimi- chan! Where's Jowjow- chan?" Yachiru asked as she pounced on your shoulder.
"Hmm?" You questioned. "I don't know. Urahara- san said he went out with some friends. Probably with Jiro and the others." You answered as you fed Grimm.
"Oh." Yachiru answered, sounding disappointed.
"He'll come back later." You answered with a smile. "You can bother him then."
Ok." Yachiru answered happily, and ran off. "Ken- chan! Mimi- chan says Jowjow- chan will come back later!" She screamed as she ran back upstairs to Zaraki.

You watched her run off with a smile, only to hear someone at the door.

"Kagami- chan! Can you get that?" Urahara yelled from the other room.
"Kayy!"

Immediately, you went to answer the door only to find Ichigo standing there with an annoyed sigh.

"Ichi!" You said happily. "Did you come to fight onii- san?"
"Uhh, no." Ichigo laughed nervously. "Umm, Grimmjow called."
"Grimmjow called?" You asked with a raised eyebrow. "Grimmjow called... you?"
"Yeah..."

The house phone rang multiple times, but no one answered. Meant Ichigo had to answer. Sigh.

"Kurosaki Clinic. How may I help you?" Ichigo asked into the phone.
"Kurosaki!"
"What the- !?" Ichigo answered surprised. "Grimmjow!?"
"Tell Kagami I went out." Grimmjow informed Ichigo.
"What!? Tell her yourself blueberry!"
"Fuckin' strawberry!"
"Piece of shit!"
"Stupid cat!"

And the insults continued...

"So you were on the phone with Grimmjow for 5 mins? Insulting each other?" You asked trying not to laugh.
"Yeah." Ichigo sighed. "Till someone took the phone from him and explained he just went out with friends. Apparently Grimmjow just wanted to let you know."
"Oh." You answered surprised. "That's it?"
"Yeah." Ichigo answered as he scratched the back of his head. "Well I'm going to get going now."
"Wait!" You called out. "Why don't you stay for lunch then?"
"Uhh, are you sure?"
"Ye- ..."

"Ichigo!" The loud booming voice of a man interrupted.
"Ke- Ken- Kenpachi!?"
"Ichigo! We still need to have another battle." Zaraki said with a grin, his sword already in his hand.
"Ri- right now!?"
"Go Ichi! Go Ken- chan!" Yachiru cheered.
"I'll start cooking lunch." You answered as you walked away.

"What the fuck am I supposed to pick!?" Grimmjow yelled in frustration in the store.
"Grimmjow calm down." Jiro answered. "Just pick something that you think Kagami- chan will like."

Grimmjow continued to growl in frustration.

"Was this a good place to take him?" Jiro whispered to Daichi. "He's getting mad, and this place is expensive and breakable."
"Well if he breaks anything, it's not the store that he's going to have to answer too, but to Kagami- chan." Daichi whispered back.
"True."

"Hey, you!" Grimmjow called to one of the store clerks behind the desk.
"Umm, yes?" The middle aged woman asked nervously.
"I need a ring to ask my woman to marry me." Grimmjow informed the woman.
"Oh, alright then." The woman answered with a pleasant smile. "Is there a specific kind you are looking for?"
"There's different fuckin' kinds?" Grimmjow asked irritated once more.
Oh shit." Jiro sighed as he and Daichi immediately towards Grimmjow in case he decided to start trouble or did anything stupid.

"Umm, yes sir." The lady answered once more, fear rising into her once more. "All our diamonds come in different sizes and shapes."
"Just give me the biggest one you have."
"..." Was the reaction of the store clerk as well as Jiro and Daichi.

"You can't be serious Grimmjow!" Daichi yelled in a whisper to him. "That's way to expensive!"
"So?"
"Grimmjow, think about it before buying anything. Why don't you look around first?" Jiro tried to help. "Remember, you're trying to impress Kagami- chan with this ring. Think of what she likes."
"Does she have a favourite colour?" Daichi asked.
"She likes pink." Grimmjow muttered as he stared through the glass case, looking for the perfect ring for you.

Then his eyes landed on one, the perfect ring.

"Hey woman, I want that ring." Grimmjow pointed. "The one with the blue diamond."

At that moment, Jiro and Daichi face palmed themselves.

"You said she likes pink!" Jiro said.
"Well to fuckin' bad." Grimmjow answered back.

In the end, Grimmjow had stuck to the blue circled diamond, picked a size, a band, and everything.

"Alright Mr. Jaegerjaquez, your ring will be ready for pickup next week." The lady said with a smile as Grimmjow had just finished paying.
"Next week!?" Grimmjow said in an angered tone. "I need the ring before my woman leaves!"
"Leaves?" Jiro asked surprised.
"Kagami- chan is leaving?" Daichi continued for Jiro.
"The damn woman leaves the day after tomorrow." Grimmjow tried answeting calmly. "She's going fuckin' back home."
"Oh, then I will have it a rush order." The lady answered. "However, the ring will be ready the day after tomorrow, it will be ready in the morning."
"Is that the fastest you can have it finished?" Daichi asked the woman.
"Yes, I'm sorry. It's because Mr. Jaegerjaquez had the ring customed to his liking that it might take awhile."
"It's good enough." Jiro answered. "When the ring is ready, we'll pick it up. Hopefully Kagami will stay a big longer to wait for Grimmjow to come back home."
"Yeah, hopefully." Grimmjow muttered under his breath, as he then walked out of the store.

End.
