Julie: That's right. I can summon ancient beasts from their slumber once I touch a weapon.

Drol's POV
At this rate, I'm gonna lose right off the bat. But, at her state, I still got a chance to win.

Julie: Here we go!

Lux continues to attack Ace, while Ace continues to evade.

Lux: What's wrong? Where's your confidence earlier.

Ace's POV
Dammit, I can't attack this guy without harming Max.

Ace: What's wrong Max! I thought you're the kind of guy that never gives up!

Lux: What are you blabbering about. Tch, doesn't matter, you're gonna die anyway.

Ace stopped in his tracks.

Lux: DIE!

Lux created a wind sword and was about to strike Ace.

All of the sudden, Lux' sword was blocked by Ace' index finger.

Lux: What the!?

Ace: If I can't get Max to break out of your magic, then I guess I'll just have to break you out of his body.

Ace clenched his right fist and strikes a powerful blow on Lux' face, blowing him away out of the room.

Julie: Here we go!

Drol kept his guard up, when suddenly, Lux came out of knowhere and hits Drol, blowing both of them out of the guild.

Julie(confused): W-What just happened???

Ace: Whoops, I guess I overdid it.
Well, I guess, that leaves you then.

Ace looks at Thros sitting in the throne.

Thros: You're gonna die boy.

Ace: I'd like to see you try.

Thros stood up in his throne and took off his armor.

Ace keeped his guard up.

Thros inhaled. All of the sudden, when he exhaled, he breathed a huge amount of hard flames.

Ace: Whoa!

Ace quickly evaded.

Ace: What the hell was that!?

Thros: I see you evaded my attack.

Thros did it one more time.

Thros: Burst of the 6th Dragon!

Ace was caught it in this time .

Julie heard a huge explosion on the throne room, and headed there right away.

When she finally reached the room, she saw beside her was Ace.

Julie: N-No way... Ace lost?!

Thros saw Julie beside Ace.

Thros: You're next!

Julie summoned her ancient beast once again, successfully defended against the attack.

Julie: That was close.

Thros : I'm not so sure about that.

Julie was surprised when she saw her tiger beast was down and was injured badly.

Julie: N-No way....

Julie's POV
First Max, then Ezra, and now Ace.... What am I suppose to do now..

Thros: This time for sure.
Full Burst of the 6th Dragon!

An even larger and stronger attack than the last two.

Julie: W-were done for...
I can't move...

All of the sudden, Ace stood in front of Julie.

Ace: I guess I can be serious this time. I'm not gonna lose!

Ace punched the flame, destroying the flame like a rock.

Thros: Wh-what the!? What are you!?

Ace' fist is smoking due to the impact.

Ace: I think an ant just bit me hand, don't you think?

Thros was pissed off.

Thros: Why you!!

Ace appeared behind Thros, and punched him with the same fist he used against his magic.

Thros was blown away, and was out cold.

Julie can't believe her eyes....

Ace: Hey, Julie. Let's go back to the guild, I'm starving.

Julie was happy to hear that the battle was over.

Julie(happy): Yes.

Ace puts the necklace Gretel gave onto Max.

Max was able to break free from the magic cast of Lux.

While Lux' body popped out of knowhere, and was also out cold due to Ace's punch.

Ace: Now then, time to tie them all up.

Ace was surprised to see that Thros has disappeared, leaving a wood puppet behind.

At the mountain side...

???: Are you sure you're not gonna finish them off?

Thros is looking down on his guild and was unharmed.

Thros: That would not be necessary, Jin.

Thros: They brought their own doom to them.

Thros turned his back and left the mountains, accompanied by Jin.

Julie: What!? Thros got away?!

Ace: Yeah... Plus, the one I beat up was just a puppet.

Julie: No way.... So if the real Thros was here... we are actually done for...

Ace: The battle was already decided before it even happen in the first place.

Ace raised his fist in the air, and was smiling.

Ace: I did wish for a normal life, but this life was so interesting than I expected. I can't wait to battle against those opponents again in the near future.

After 3 days...

It's been three days since the mission ended, and everyone at the guild was happy as always.

Hansel: Well, I guess we'll take our leave then.

Gretel: Thank you all for your kindness.

Ace: What are you talking about? Both of you are now a part of this guild.

Both twins: WHAAT??

Julie: There you go and deciding things on your own.

Ezra: Well, I guess we need more strong members.

Hansel: Really!?

Trent: Well, I guess I can talk to the guild master once she returns.

Max took out his hand to Gretel.

Max: Welcome to the guild. *smiles*
