The same day...

Ace, Julie, and Gretel went to town to hang out...

Julie: Hey Ace, buy me that.

She points directly at a red dress in the store.

Gretel: Umm.. Can you please buy me that mr. Ace?

While Gretel points at the cake in the cafè.

Ace: I said that we'd hang out, but I never expect it to be like this.

Julie: Consider it as an apology for what you did earlier.

Ace: How many times do I have to tell you two! It.was.a.misunderstanding!

Gretel: And you saw the most private parts too!

Ace(embarrased): Wha-! It was a misunderstanding! *sigh* Fine. I'll buy you those. By the way, what happened to the money that I gave you from the fare for the guild.

Julie: I gave it to the guild master. She said she's going to use it in the near future, to make the guild even bigger.

Ace: I see..

After a while...

Julie: Oh, I see.. So tommorow is your test, huh.

Ace: That's right. So if I couldn't make it out alive, at least I could spend the time with you guys. Although, Max, Trent, and Hansel didn't come.

Suddenly, both Julie and Gretel laugh.

Julie: What are you saying Ace?

Gretel: Why are you overeacting over something like that?

Ace: I don't know... I just got the feeling..

After an hour spending on their conversation, Ace escorted both of them to their dormitory.

Julie: Thanks for buying us stuff, you sure know how to deal with women.

Ace's POV
Both of you forced me to. Geez, I kinda expected more.

Ace puts their shopping bags down in their room.

Ace: Well, I guess I'll be taking off then.

Ace was about to leave, when Julie pulled his shirt and suddenly gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Julie: Thanks for the date.

She then closed the door of her room.

Ace suddenly feels embarrassed and took off, heading back to his place.

Ace: Tomorrow is the day...

The next day...

Ace is standing near the dock at 6:43 am in the morning.

Ace: She told me to wait for her right here. But, I guess she's late.

He turned around and saw Juniper. Ace was startled once again.

Juniper: Sorry, did I made you wait?

Ace:*pant pant* You did that on purpose.

Fred(captain of the ship): Are you people perhaps going to another isle?

Juniper: Yes.

Juniper took out a request flyer on her pocket and showed it to the captain.

The captain's eyes suddenly widened. He was surprised when he looked at the flyer.

Fred: Are you sure, little miss?

Juniper: Yes, I'm sure.

Fred: *sigh* Alrighty then. Get on the ship.

Juniper: Ok let's go.

Ace: Wait a minute!? I don't want to travel by ship! I get seasick!

Suddenly, he heard Julie's laugh.

Ace: Is Julie here!?

Juniper points behind him. And when he turned around, he saw Julie, Max, Hansel, and Gretel.

Ace: Why are you guys here!? Don't tell me you're all going to see me off.

Julie: What are you talking about?

Max: We're coming with you.

Ace(chibi): huh!?

Gretel: To be honest, we were just invited by the guild master to assist you on this test.

Hansel: That's true.

Ace glanced at Juniper with rage.

Ace: I thought we're the only one ones going on this test!?

Juniper suddenly has a smirk on her face.

Juniper: Let's just say that they are your source of inspiration, for now, because where we are going... you're going to need it.

Ace: What do you mean?

Juniper unexpectedly threw a small ball to Ace. Ace catched it and was a bit confused of what it is.

Ace: What's this?

Juniper: A medicine that specializes in curing seasick for 2 days.

Ace: Really?!

Julie: I told her about you getting seasick a while back.

Ace: I see. Thank you.

Ace threw the medicine in the air and successfully landed on his mouth, finally chewing it.

Ace suddenly felt uncomfortable on the taste.

Jumiper: Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you that that thing was extremely sour.

Ace: SO SOUR!!

Max and the others laugh at Ace.

Ace: Are you trying to mock me!?

Juniper: Shut up and get on the ship already!

Ace: Y-yes ma'am.

Ace and the others quickly gets on the ship and finally departed to their test ground.

Ace: A new adventure starts...
