And so, Ace stayed at the guild for the night. But, the guild at night is so dark, it kinda looks like in a horror movie.

Ace is laying down in one of the tables, still not asleep and is looking at the ceiling.

Ace: This world is amazing, although I don't have any magic.

He suddenly heard the door creaked open. Ace couldn't help but to hide under the table.

Ace's POV
Shit! I am already 16, but still I'm afraid of ghosts *shivering*.

He suddenly heard footsteps.

Ace is so afraid that he throws the table at the "ghost".

Ace: DIE YOU GODDAMN GHOST!!

The table he threw was sliced into two.

The "ghost" attacked Ace also.

Ace dodged and the chair beside him was also sliced in a blink of an eye.

Ace's POV
  Crap! Looks like I angered the ghost!

The "ghost" suddenly appeared in front of him.

Ace: *screams like a little girl*

The "ghost" was startled and fled outside.

Ace was relieved.

Ace: Thank goodness, it left.

The next day...

Ace was looking sleepless.

Trent: Hey, you okay newbie?

Ace: I couldn't sleep last night... There was a ghost here last night.

Trent: So that is the excuse you're telling me?

Ace: huh? What do you mean?

Trent points at the corner.

Trent: You broke a table and a chair last night. What exactly did you do?

Ace: I'm telling you! There is a ghost here last night!

The other members heard Ace, and laughed.

Ace gave them an angry look and suddenly, they were shut.

Julie finally arrived.

Julie: Goodmorning!

Ace turns around.

Ace: Goodmorning.

Julie was surprised at Ace's look.

Julie: *screams* ZOMBIE!!

Ace: huh?! Where?! Where?!

Trent: Hey calm down! It's Ace, he didn't get any sleep last night.

Julie: Phew, I thought you were a zombie. Sorry about that.

Ace: No worries.

Julie: Anyway, Why didn't you got any sleep last night?

Trent: *sigh* He said there was a ghost here last night.

Ace: It's True! It even attacked me!

Julie: *raised an eyebrow* Is that so? Anyway, Trent, I heard Max was back from his mission.

Trent: I heard it too.

Ace: Hey, who's this Max you're talking about?

Trent: He is one of our Class A mage.

Julie: He's quite strong.

Ace: Is that so? *stands up and cracks his knuckles* I would like to battle him sometime.

Trent: I guess you have a slight chance of victory.

Ace(angry look): Are you doubting my strength, Bartender boy?!

Trent: N-No, O-Of course not.

Julie: Hey Ace, stop being so intimidating.

A person suddenly came in into the guild.

Julie and Trent and the other members was surprised, but Ace wasn't.

Person: Guess who's back.

Trent: You.... Who are you?

Person: *Pissed off* IT'S ME! MAX!

Julie: What's with the bandages in your ears?

Max: Well...

Last night..

Max walks down on the street.

Max: Man, that was a long trip. I should hand over this request poster, so Trent can marked it "completed" and collect my reward. *Looks at the time* I guess the guild is already close. Well, I'll just put this on the counter and leave a letter that I completed it.

Max arrived at the guild, and opens the door.

Max: hmm..? I feel an unfamiliar presence.

Max walks slowly.

Suddenly, a table flew out of knowhere.

Max: Shit!

Max quickly used his magic and sliced the table.

Max sensed the presence.

Max once again attacked the direction of the presence, but he sliced the chair in half.

Max: There!

Max tries to pursuit the person, but then, he heard a high pitched scream.

Max: FFFFF******CCKKK!!

Max decided to ran outside.

He took a rest for a bit. He then notices the bleeding of his ears.

Max: Damn that guy or gal, whoever he/she is, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM/HER!!

Trent: Did you said you were here last night?

Max: Yup

Julie and Trent stared at Ace uncomfortably.

Ace was bursting with anger.

Ace(angry): So, you're the prankster that tries to scare me.

Max(angry): So you're the person who screamed like a little girl.

They both glared at each other (add intense background).

Trent: Whoa! Calm down you two! If both of you are gonna fight, do it outside! Sheesh...

Ace: Yeah, Good Idea.

Max: Sounds good to me.

They both walked outside of the guild while still glaring at each other.

Trent: A class A mage vs. A newbie. This is gonna be intense.

Julie: I'll keep an eye on them.

Julie ran and followed those two.

Ace and Max head straight towards the field.

Ace cracks his knuckles while Max is stretching.

Ace: Don't go crying when you lose to me Deaf ears.

Max: Don't go screaming like a little girl if you lose Girly scream.

Ace: Heh, that's not even a word!

Max's magic circle appeared beside Ace.

Max: Air Slicer!

Thin air blades came out of the magic circle.

Ace quickly dodged it and backs away.

The air blades hits a group of boulders, slicing it into a tiny bit of rubble.

Ace: So this is a class A mage.

Max: Not bad... But...

Max snap his fingers.

Ace was surprised to see that he was surrounded by 15 magic circles.

Max: If you move even an inch, the magic circles will be triggered.

Ace was in a tight spot.

Julie was watching both of them in the distance.

Julie: Ace didn't stood a chance. Max is a powerful wizard of Pixies Scale. He can summon his magic circles in the atmosphere without even moving. He is a feared member of Pixies Scale... Max cyclone, also known as the Aerial Maximus.

Max: Say that you give up, and I will spare your life.

Ace: tsk.
